A really wonderful hotel: comfortable room, smartly furnished, beautifully maintained, great breakfast, invigorating spa, and best of all an elegant 24 hour bar manned at night by the very friendly Ülke. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a stylish hotel with excellent service in or near Recklinghausen, you should choose the centrally located Parkhotel Engelsburg. It impresses with a very cozy atmosphere, extremely friendly and courteous staff and a very good price-performance ratio. The extremely exquisite breakfast is also worth mentioning. Special requests are also happily fulfilled. We felt very comfortable there and would be happy to come back.

Great, newly renovated rooms with everything your heart desires. The bathrooms are fantastic with rain showers. You walk through the archway of the Castel Sant'Angelo and find yourself in another world. The lobby alone with its 24/7 bar is impressive and elicits a "wow". You are greeted in a very friendly manner and your every wish is anticipated. All types of pillows are available on request. The beds are super comfortable.

The staff was extremely friendly, the ambience was very elegant and homely, the bar was top class and the breakfast was delicious - a great hotel in every respect! The room was clean, very well furnished, the bathroom very well maintained. The location is right in the center of Recklinghausen and you are within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Great discovery and worth a few kilometers detour if you have business in the Ruhr area.

Very nice hotel with fantastic staff. I have rarely experienced such friendly staff (reception, restaurant) as in this hotel.
We particularly liked the ambience, as it is traditional but not old-fashioned. A really nice contrast to all the new-fangled hotels.

Everything was excellent. Great reception, decent hotel. The gym leaves little to be desired. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The restaurant also leaves nothing to be desired.
