Radisson Blu Vancouver Airport Hotel & Marina

The staff working here were the friendliest, most helpful and kind people I have encountered in a hotel ever. They definitely made up for the challenges of the current renovation. Our room was very comfortable and the view of the mountains was lovely. It was difficult not having good restaurant options for breakfast. There is a cafe with limited choices but they really should open the restaurant up for breakfast. There was a strike going on while we were there so maybe that was an issue. The pool was also closed so the the whole hotel feels a bit like a ghost town. I think that it is pretty expensive for the situation it's in at the moment but understand that it is an airport hotel so will be pricey. I cannot say this enough though: the staff were incredible. This makes such a difference and we really appreciated it.
Vancouver Airport Marriott Hotel

We stayed at the Marriott Vancouver Airport hotel in Richmond for 3 nights in July 2024 and it was excellent. The staff at the front desk were amazing and helpful. The breakfast burritos at the 75 Restaurant was excellent and came with a bowl of fruits. Cleaning staff were excellent. Parking was easy and plentiful. Ubers were fast and plentiful. The pool, hot tub and gym were too notch. It’s an amazing experience but the prices of hotels in Vancouver are not cheap, in general.
Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel

We stayed here for a night in Feb, in the North Tower room 355 as a family. We have passed this hotel many times to know it's an older hotel and a staple of Richmond but just never had a chance to stay. It's definitely a more business/convention clientele hotel. The weekend we were there they were hosting a power lifting convention and hotel was completely sold out. The front desk was a hit or miss. Because our rooms weren't ready when we first arrived, we had to go to the front desk multiple times, and the experiences ranged from staff being aloof to being barely business courteous. The lobby area was large and has a restaurant and Starbucks connected which was convenient. Overnight parking was $21 which was pretty standard here in Richmond and parking seems aplenty. The hallways were dark and one of the tower elevators was broken the whole time we were there and for the only other elevator, the door sometimes wouldn't open all the way - not exactly comforting. The fitness room was relatively large with both cardio machines, and small free weights section. As for the room, it was definitely a bit weathered and dated. There were no USB plugs, and while the bathroom was larger, the door lock was broken. It did have a balcony, safe, and what surprised me, was a microwave. I called the front desk to see if they had slippers for in room use, but they were charging $5 a pair - hmm no thanks. The beds were comfortable but our room was close to the elevator so with the convention folks, it was pretty loud.
Sandman Hotel Vancouver Airport

Facilities: This is an older hotel with relatively old facilities, but complete. Service: Still good. Because I need to take a late flight back to China from Vancouver, they helped me extend the check-out time and were very good to customers. Environment: There is a Yuanchu nearby, which is within walking distance, not noisy, and quite quiet.
Hilton Vancouver Airport

We encountered a really bad arctic blast and we booked the Hilton on a whim as we felt we couldn't continue up the mountain in the dark. Per the TA norm the photos did not match the actual rooms at all. This hotel is terribly dated and is due for a remodel. The restaurant is mediocre and service not great. Bitterly cold temps outside and the entire main lobby floor was absolutely freezing. All of that said, it was clean & comfortable for what we needed. Got a good night's rest and went on our way the next day. Not worth the hefty price tag though.
