Great location, but several areas need improvement Arosa Hotel has a great location, right in the heart of Lapa, close to many small local restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and various stores. It’s very easy to get around — in short, the location is excellent. The rooms are spacious, which is definitely a plus. However, several aspects of the service could be improved. Our check-in experience was particularly unpleasant. We were a group of four, and upon arrival, their system was down. Instead of offering a simple or practical solution, the receptionists — who were quite unfriendly and unhelpful — asked us to scan a QR code and complete a long online form. The form included a number of unnecessary questions, more than what one would typically be asked at immigration when entering Brazil. Additionally, the internet did not work at all during our stay. While this didn’t seem to bother local guests, it was a real inconvenience for us as international visitors. Lastly, while the hotel gives off a grand appearance at first glance, the overall structure could really use some updates and maintenance. To sum up: great potential and excellent location, but the guest experience needs serious attention.

The hygiene is very poor, the room is not cleaned at night. We signed up for a day trip recommended by the hotel, but ended up waiting in the car for 2 hours before it started.

Blocked sink. Water running through pipes when neighbours had showers woke me up. Rather chaotic breakfast, running out of tables, forks, coffee, milk, eggs, cups.

Hotel is ok, I like the breakfast very much. Location wise it’s near a lot of stores, but the neighbourhood feels dangerous to stay in. I chose the place as it’s a walking distance to get to the carnival, and indeed I was able to walk to and fro when I attended the carnival.

My experience wasn't very good. I found the hotel strange; I don't like dark places and furniture. The reception is very slow, check-in takes a long time, and check-out was even worse. Besides that, the parking fee is 67 reais per day for cars and the same for motorcycles. I stay in much cheaper and better hotels nearby for a much better price. I don't recommend it, and I won't stay there again!

The room is large, affordable, and very cost-effective. It is close to the city center and the pier, so it is convenient to travel around and visit the old city.

Excellent option, super organized, attentive staff and location close to shops and restaurants.

I went to work. When the internet in the room came on the laptop, more than an hour after it was installed, it didn't allow minimum browsing. In the morning, I did the video conference from my cell phone on 4G.

I arrived late at the hotel and there was no soap, I had to wait a considerable time until I got it. The air conditioning is good, but the system is different from what we are used to. The structure of the room itself is very good and the breakfast too. The area has quiet rooms.

The bathroom lacked a soap dish, a glass for brushing teeth, and a courtesy kit that was not complete. Not 4 stars. Excellent breakfast. Improve attention to detail

I loved it, the pool area is very beautiful, and the room service was also excellent.

Clean and organized hotel. However, the fact that it has a gym doesn't make much sense because more than 50% of the items are defective or poorly maintained. Other than that, a good hotel.
