Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro

The location is pretty good, and the hotel's facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service are all decent. The value for money is relatively acceptable. Overall, it's alright. The surrounding area is also quite pleasant.

I especially want to highlight the delicious and varied breakfasts. It's very convenient that you can have lunch and dinner right at the hotel – no need to go anywhere else. In the evenings, there's live music, and on the top floor, there's a beautiful pool where you can have a pleasant time.

Too far from the city center and all the beaches. It was a 25km drive in and out every day, and at night, it took over an hour to get back due to unfamiliar roads and constant traffic jams. The front desk staff seemed to be trained to always ask, "Which do you prefer?"

The Hilton hotel is simply sensational! I made some excellent memories there and would definitely stay again. I traveled with a group of 18 people for my graduation in Barra, staying in 9 rooms. We all loved the room, bathroom, service, restaurant, and breakfast. The only thing we didn't get to see was the gym, as it was under renovation, but the pool and jacuzzi were great. I particularly loved the rooftop – definitely a highlight! The value for money is also excellent. Honestly, I recommend this hotel to everyone. Everything is tasteful, elegant, and the staff are polite and helpful. I truly have nothing bad to say about the place; I even formed an emotional connection with it, haha. It's close to shopping malls, about 15-20 minutes from Barra beach, and right next to Riocentro (great if you're heading to Barra da Tijuca for an event there). Seriously, it's an excellent hotel, and I highly recommend it. My only suggestion would be for them to organize a transfer service to Barra beach. That would be a great idea, but who knows, maybe that would affect the value for money.

The environment here is very quiet, so if you have trouble sleeping, this might be a good option for you. On the ninth floor, there's a heated rooftop pool and a gym, and on the ground floor, Western cuisine is served. The airport is about 500 meters directly opposite the pool, and the beach is about a ten-minute drive away. The hotel's back entrance leads to the Metropolitano mall, which features an Australian restaurant, a standard Japanese restaurant, over a dozen small eateries, massage parlors, and a cinema. Sugarloaf Mountain is approximately 28 kilometers from the hotel, and getting there by Uber is quite convenient.

The Hilton brand always provides us with wonderful experiences. My only negative observation is regarding the executive lounge not having an espresso machine available after breakfast, so we can't enjoy a good espresso outside of breakfast hours.
