We chose Heyuan by chance and planned to stay for only one night, but we encountered many surprises and ended up staying for three consecutive days. The owner was warm and thoughtful. He not only helped my family take a lot of high-quality photos, but also provided a lot of convenience. The food was superb, hygienic and delicious, so that we unanimously decided to return to Heyuan for dinner for all three days. The courtyard is not big, the grass and trees are lush, and there are not many rooms, but you can see the care everywhere. I will come again in a different season next time.

We liked the nostalgic feel of the hotel. It makes you feel like you have gone back in time. The room is a little bit dated (shower screens need some attention), however it still had that touch of class. The front steps are a killer, however there is a lift to bring you up the level of the hotel, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our heavy suitcases up the many steps. There is a bus station almost out the front of the hotel to tour the mountains many scenic areas. It is not in the shopping area of Kuling Street, but it's an easy bus ride to visit this area. We liked that there are a few restaurants, cafes and convenience stores close to the hotel as well. We were not able to use our foreign credit card and as we could not use WeChat pay, we needed to find another way to pay for the room with assistance from family with a Chinese bank account. I think it was because it is not part of a large chain of hotels and is in a relatively remote area. But overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Any questions asked at the front desk were answered patiently and meticulously, and they also provided many practical suggestions for our trip. The facilities are complete, the environment is very good, the hygiene is good, and the service is very considerate. The boss and aunt are very enthusiastic. When we went up the mountain, the boss took the initiative to contact us to provide driving service. When we first went there, he also recommended tour routes for us; During those few days of travel, every time I came back and saw the lights on in the hotel and my aunt sitting downstairs waiting for us, I felt very friendly; When we go down the mountain, even if the boss is not at the hotel, he will call a taxi for us in advance. The breakfast provided in the store is also delicious, especially the hand cakes made by the boss. It happened to be very foggy when we stayed. The clouds and mist made it feel like a fairyland. It was a pity that we didn't take any photos. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Lushan, I will choose to stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient. We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️

I went to the Lushan in the book with my boyfriend. Unfortunately, the sky was not beautiful, but the housekeeper and the pick-up brother in the hotel made us warm. The hotel facilities are very complete. The celebrity villa is very comfortable to live in. The yard is oversized. If it is not foggy, it is very good to take pictures and punch in. The scenery around the hotel is very good! The hotel room facilities are newer. We stayed in Building 2. There was no waiter in this building. Only Building 1 had waiters. If Building 1 was short of staff and wanted to get something, we had to go there and get it ourselves. Fortunately, Building 2 is not far away. There are not enough staff for breakfast, only one person serves. I don’t know if it’s because there’s not enough staff during the Chinese New Year, or if it’s normal. Breakfast is a buffet, but the quality is average. The room was not cleaned carefully and the garbage in the drawer of the TV cabinet was not cleared. Probably the waiters usually don't open drawers and cabinets to clean. The pick-up and drop-off service is good, and the driver is very considerate of the guests.
