Talk about an absolute flop of an experience for a supposed 5 star resort. We showed up 2 hours prior to check in hoping for early check in which wasn't granted. No issue at all obviously until we came back to check in at the appropriate time and were told our room wouldn't be ready for another 2 hours since they couldn't remove the previous hotel guest.... With all due respect, when paying $2000/night for a hotel room it is not my problem or concern on how you get a hotel guest out of a room so we can have ours. All the staff said was there wasn't anything they could do and to come back at 6 p.m to check in. They offered to buy us drinks for the inconvenience which was almost comical. Will never stay at a Dorchester hotel again and would strongly advise against the Rome Hotel Eden specifically. Complete bust of a hotel.

The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and elegant, and the bathrooms feel like a private spa — glamorous and spotless. We experienced a personal emergency during our stay, and what truly sets this hotel apart is its world-class service. Every single staff member stepped up — they treated us like family, showing incredible warmth and professionalism. We’ve never felt so cared for in any hotel, anywhere in the world. And let’s talk about the food: it was so good, we chose to have dinner at the hotel three nights in a row — and my husband is a serious food snob. Every dish was exceptional. Michelin-level cuisine, without leaving the hotel. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Rome but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. And the view from the rooftop restaurant? Unreal. If you’re planning a trip to Rome and want an unforgettable experience, Hotel Eden is worth every euro. We can’t wait to return next year — and every year after that.
