This is truly a hidden gem! 6 of us (3 sisters & other halves) stayed for 4 nights April/May. I cannot thank the team enough for their hospitality. This was a surprise for my sister’s 50th and they genuinely added so much to a fantastic trip. Rado, Apu, Francessco, Gusseppe and Alessandro (I think/hope I have the names right) are all equally welcoming. At times I felt we were very needy but, I can say with great honesty, that absolutely nothing was too much trouble. We will 100% be back! Location is fab. If you’re a good walker you can get to everything from here or alternatively get the no. 81 bus. The closest main attraction is the coliseum (10 min walk). Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good and plentiful. (Continental style). I have been to many many hotels all across the world and I have to say, in terms of customer service, the Valeri team win hands down!! (Doncaster/Liverpool 6 😁)

The "boutique hotel" is inside a large apartment building on a very busy street corner, which is not, but should be listed on their website. We checked in to a ground floor room with a terrace. Our niece and her husband reserved a different room which was upstairs on the 3rd floor. The ground floor room had a foul odor, the furnishings were old and run down, the tub had mold and a soap scum stain ring around it. The terrace was on the busy street corner and it was very noisy outside. I went to my niece's room on the 3rd floor and it was gorgeous! Everything was brand new and it faced the inside which was quite. I asked the manager (Francisco) for a different room, but he said there were no other rooms available. I decided to find another hotel for the night. I found a beautiful room at the Capo di' Africa and I checked in. Francisco, the manager refused to give me refund for terrible room at Valeri. I ended up paying for both rooms at both hotels. It was worth it to not stay in that ratty room on my my husband's birthday.

Fabulous visit, Francesco and Roberto and the others were very helpful and hospitable. Very knowledgeable of places to visit in Rome. Room was modern and clean and serviced daily , we really enjoyed our trip. Location was excellent, within walking distance to the Colleseum and Lateran as well as on the bus route 81 for the Vatican.

This place should be considered a national treasure - Roberto and the staff were warm, helpful and really just wonderful people to be around. WE had excellent navigation/sightseeing tips and restaurant recommendations. The rooms were spacious, clean and the breakfast was great. Most of all, these are warm fun-loving people and I am sure we will go back and see them again, sometimes folks just get the "little things" right, and these folks get that, they are clearly enjoying themselves while they are doing it. I truly enjoyed just hanging out during my stay and it made me feel great - I will for sure return.

We are staying here as I write this. It’s a very typical European hotel. Good bed Simple but delicious continental breakfast Excellent service. Not in the tourist zone. Its walking distance to the Coliseum, Basilica of St John Lateran, and Circus Maximus. Good eating is a short walk away. There are Hilton franchisees who could learn from the hospitality here.

This hotel is an absolute gem in Rhione Monte, just next to the ancient Roman walls and main entrance into the imperial city, only 10 minute walk to Baths of Caracella and 15 minutes to Colosseum, we loved the location. Roberto and Apu were amazing they were so hospitable and really made us feel at home. Roberto provided a fool proof guide to make the most of the two days we had in Rome - we visited everything ! The taxi company ITTaxi is great too so download to your phone. Roberto and Apu even waved us off on our last day whilst we waited for our taxi, I can't wait to return to Rome.

It is a really wrecked place, defective lights that turn on and off continuously even while you are sleeping, also poor bathrooms and with many broken things, TV not working, breakfast you have to wait there is no place there are tables at the reception ....

I would have liked to stay in this hotel booked two weeks ago with a confirmation email ... too bad that a week after my arrival they phoned me saying that due to a colleague's mistake the room is not available ... little professionalism or perhaps a little honesty given that on booking it continues to be available but at a higher price !!!! And with everything booked I find myself having to run to look for another structure !!! Heartfelt congratulations !!!!
