Hotel was located at a very convenient spot near the train station, walkable distance. Hotel staff Joseph helped to upgrade us and we had a city view. Stayed for 4 nights, the room is a little small but it was very clean, definitely would love to stay there again!

This hotel was the biggest surprise for me during this trip! I don’t know where he got his so-called four-star rating! I highly do not recommend this "pseudo four-star" hotel! For my first stop in Rome, I chose a self-proclaimed four-star hotel in the city center. However, the experience after check-in made me very disappointed, and it can even be said to be a trap. This hotel is actually more like a low-end B&B and does not meet the four-star standards at all. Firstly, the room was very small and extremely unhygienic. Not only is the space cramped, the cleanliness is unacceptable. After checking in, I immediately asked to check out and get a refund for one night as I decided to move to another hotel. However, the service attitude at the front desk is speechless. The person who received me was a black man. Although he tried to communicate with me through a translator, in the end the hotel refused to refund the room fee. Even if I applied through the Ctrip backend, there was no progress. Finally, the hotel said they could upgrade my room for free. However, this so-called "upgrade" is almost a misnomer - the room is only slightly one-sixth larger than before, and the lighting is slightly better, but it doesn't make up for the other problems at all. Overall, this hotel is far from worth the price: it costs more than 5,000 yuan for two nights, not including breakfast. With such hardware facilities and service level, it does not deserve a four-star rating. As for the "rooftop breakfast" promoted by the hotel, it is also full of deception. The so-called "roof" is nothing more than a small balcony upstairs with extremely limited views. Moreover, the quality of the breakfast is low. Although the price is not high at only 10 euros, it is not as fresh as the food in the restaurants opposite the hotel. The bread and tea snacks in the restaurant opposite are more cost-effective. A cup of tea and two breads only cost about 5 euros. What makes me most angry is that the promotional photos of this hotel are completely inconsistent with reality and are simply "photos and deceptions". This stay completely ruined my opinion of this hotel and I would definitely not recommend anyone to choose this hotel. I really don't understand how it got the "4 star" rating, extremely poor experience!

The hotel staff has a very good service attitude! Very enthusiastic! Any problems will be solved in time! The room is not big, it is a renovated hotel. I found that the bathroom light was broken on the night of check-in. The point is that the elevator is very small, only one person can take it at a time, and you need to walk up several steps to take the elevator, which is not suitable for people with inconvenience or who don't like to climb stairs

Delighted. Location was perfect, 5 mins walk from Termini. Room quality was excellent. Bed, bathroom, room facilities all perfect. The staff were brilliant as well, Rita in the breakfast room was excellent, fantastic coffees, regular top ups, excellent start to each day. Martina on reception was excellent, very efficient check in and very helpful throughout our stay. Special mention to the young guy on reception as we were checking out, we didn’t get his name but he was brilliant in sourcing us a taxi back to the airport when the Leonardo Express was cancelled for hours, the taxi queues were huge but he managed to get us sorted, ensuring we got to the airport in time to catch our flight home. Wonderful hotel, will definitely stay again when we return to Rome. Thank you.

Do not stay here. Arrived and told there was NO ROOM due to an electrical fault in 6 of their rooms they couldn’t fix. Shoved in an awful cheap loud hotel over the road instead, like faulty towers! A complete joke. Awful treatment of guests. Staff and management purposely LIED and palmed me off . I had complained multiple times and was eventually told they WOULD provide me a refund (rightly so), for them to go back on their word and then say they had changed their mind and no refund (2 weeks later)! Arrived at the hotel to be told there was a fault and 6 rooms were not available, taken to a hotel opposite and told they’d booked us there instead! AWFUL hotel, no sleep, no water pressure, looked like a 2 star, room right above a busy/loud/late restaurant. Got no sleep, so pretty much ruined my day in Rome through exhaustion. I paid to stay at Doria Palace not same horrendous hotel over the road! Explained my upset etc and requested a refund for the first night, spoke to the manager, chased every day for them to eventually agree to refund me. Which they confirmed they would do. Got home and chased multiple times via email and was told again via email I would receive my refund. I then asked WHEN I would get my refund and they replied saying they had changed their mind and I would not get a refund now. As they had given us a free breakfast (which was a free croissant)! We got moved back to the Doria Palace hotel for the remaining nights, and that hotel room itself was quite nice. But everything was tainted by their attitude and total disregard. The manager were so rude, disinterested and lied! Could have been a simple fix tbh! Save yourself the stress and don’t even risk staying here!!
