DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport-Rosemont

We were allocated to a room below the roof, hifh humming noise seemed coming from everywhere of the room, the staff insisted that the engineering need to come to confirm the problem, I waited for not too long, it was confirmed to be the machinary (probably aircon fan box) on the roof and I was asked to change to a lower level room. - this can totally be avoided before hand as I do not believe this is the first time this machine emits noise !!! The room is big and the sofa bed can easily be extended. I used the baggage storage service for a few hours after check out and the services are good.

I stayed for a night and it was pretty clean hotel. Every 30 min there is a shuttle bus to airport.

We stayed for 6 days. The hotel was average and did not meet our expectations. There were no slippers provided, which was inconvenient because the carpets seemed dirty. There was also no complimentary bottled water. Housekeeping was disappointing. Staff knocked on our door once while we were in the room, but after we left, the room was not cleaned. Coffee supplies, soap, and tissues were not replenished during our stay. The small details make a big difference: bottled water, slippers, regular room cleaning, and restocking basic amenities. Overall, the service was poor, and our experience was not as good as we expected.

I made a mistake with my reservation but the staff was so kind to help me solve the problem. the hotel itself is a little outdated, but it is a good stay near the airport.  the airport shuttle bus is very punctual, and the location is very nearby the airport. I also tried dining at Gibson’s steakhouse, which is a steakhouse within the hotel premise , and it was full with locals and conference visitors. Taste was okay.

Reasonable price near airport and free shuttles.
