Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kolkata

I have just spend some time at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kolkata and what a good surprise. The hotel team is taking a good care of the place and makes you feel very comfortable. The restaurant is something, food is super tasty and I have enjoyed very much all I have ate. I will definitely come back. Big thank to sandip Ghosn that brings me my room service, Nikhil mondal who takes care of my room everyday, Bhabna from the restaurant but as well the people I didn’t name, from the kitchen to restaurant staff and the lobby, that are all part of the great job. Thanks a lot for your attention and your service. 🙏🏻

Close to the airport and good for early morning transit. Room is big and clean. Buffet style breakfast with mostly Indian food and some continental options.

Gentleman at Reception very pleasing attitude. Room was good with fridge nice setup but lighting is not effective. We had views of old buildings. Stairwell had very old smell due to poor ventilation. Breakfast taste was generally poor, omelette had bad smell. Dining section is beautiful and waiters etc.. very helpful. Juice and coffee were quite good.

Not like a four ⭐⭐⭐⭐ standard though they are claiming ⭐⭐⭐⭐..

The hotel staff are kind and helpful. My room was upgraded so I could be on the same floor as my traveling companions. The room was decently clean but the wifi was slow.

Was a great comfortable stay, staff was accommodating, ambience was warm and friendly. Food was tasty, nice and had variety, coffee was good but tea was not freshly brewed ( my opinion) Front desk were helpful in calling and arranging for taxis. The most outstanding, helpful and warm is Soumita Bhattacharya, the Guest Relations Excutive. She has been very helpful throughput my stay here. My sincere full appreciation and highest compliments to her. Only drawback is the location, it’s off the main road.

Hawad Jonson is a very good hotel. Well location. All rooms are very good and long space. All working staff very well. Specialy sounita bhattacharya friendly behaviour. Breakfast lunch and dinner was delicious. I suggest all friends circle if you stay 1 night at Kolkata go hawad Jonson hotel that's all.
