This time, I brought my child to Sanya and chose the old-brand family-friendly hotel in Yalong Bay, Tianyu Resort. We stayed two nights in a Deluxe Room in Zone 1. Before heading out, I was a bit hesitant because some online reviews mentioned the facilities were a bit old. But after personally staying there, all I can say is: Tianyu truly understands what families with children need. The details and conveniences it offers are unmatched by those trendy new hotels. First, let's talk about the room. We stayed in a Deluxe Room in Zone 1. Although it didn't have a direct sea view, the room was very spacious, probably close to 32 square meters. It didn't feel cramped at all for a family of three. The decor was in warm wood tones, looking simple but very classic. The room was reassuringly clean – no stains on the carpet, no dust on the desk, and even the corners of the bathroom were spotless. For someone like me who's a bit of a clean freak, this was a huge plus. The biggest surprise for me was the washing machine and drying rack in the room! When bringing kids to Sanya, you change at least two swimsuits a day. Before, at other hotels, I had to handwash them and hang them in the bathroom to drip dry, and they'd still be wet the next morning. But Tianyu provides a washing machine with a drying function. You just toss in swimsuits and t-shirts at night, and they're all dry by morning. It's truly a lifesaver for families with children. The bedding was also very comfortable, neither too soft nor too hard. There were various pillows to choose from: down pillows, cassia seed pillows, buckwheat pillows, and cervical pillows. The room also had a large bathtub. Every evening after returning from the pool, I'd fill it with hot water, and my child would enjoy a bubble bath while I scrolled on my phone. That hour was my most relaxing moment of the day. 🥕 Next, the pool area, which my child absolutely loved. Tianyu's pool is genuinely not just an ordinary size; the main pool in Zone 1 has shallow and deep sections. The shallow area is about 0.5 meters deep. My son, just over 4 years old, could paddle around with armbands. What was most thoughtful was the large-leaf terminalia trees above the pool. Their branches spread out like giant green umbrellas, providing extensive shade even at 2 PM when the sun was strongest. There was no need to worry about sunburn. On the second day, we moved to Zone 2, where the lazy river pool was an absolute delight – the entire river gently flowed around the pool area. My child floated along with a swim ring, and my husband and I slowly followed behind. Passing under a small bridge that sprayed water, the splashes made my child shriek with laughter; that happiness was incredibly pure. There were also two super long spiral waterslides nearby, probably at least ten meters long, spiraling down at a not-too-fast speed, so even young children could enjoy them. My son was timid and didn't dare go up at first. But after seeing a smaller girl slide down, giggling, he gathered his courage and went once. He got hooked and went down no less than ten times, shouting "Again!" every time. Zone 2 also had a 4-meter-deep diving pool with a small diving board. Adults and older kids were doing "pencil dives" there. My child and I sat on the side, watching the fun, which was also quite entertaining. 🥕 Indoor activities were also excellent. The Fantasy Kingdom on the third floor is an indoor playground, free for hotel guests. It has a giant ball pit, deep enough for a child to jump in and be submerged up to their chest. There are also slides, trampolines, climbing frames, and a building block area. The facilities are new, and the air conditioning is set just right. During the two hottest hours of the day, we'd hide here. My child would run wild, and I'd sit nearby, watching him play with his friends. The balls in the ball pit were clean and odorless, clearly disinfected regularly. Environmental hygiene and service details also deserve praise. From the room to the beach, there were shaded walkways all the way. The ground was clean, without fallen leaves or rubbish. The loungers by the pool were wiped clean and had towels laid out by staff every morning. The hotel has direct access to Yalong Bay beach, where the sand is as fine and white as flour, and the sea is crystal clear. At low tide in the evening, the beach was full of small crab holes. My child could spend an hour digging there. Transportation was also hassle-free. On our checkout day, we booked the hotel's complimentary airport shuttle for 4 PM. We just needed to register at the front desk the day before. The shuttle was punctual, with spacious seating. It took about 50 minutes from the hotel to Sanya Phoenix Airport, perfect for catching our evening flight. It saved us almost a hundred yuan in taxi fares and eliminated the hassle of worrying about the route, which is especially suitable for families rushing to catch a flight with children. 🥕 Regarding dining, across the hotel is the Baihuagu Commercial Street, a two to three-minute walk, with options like KFC, Pizza Hut, seafood stalls, and coconut chicken. The hotel's own breakfast was also very rich, with both Chinese and Western options. My child loved the freshly made wontons and fried eggs every day. ^_^ The photos from the photo booth were especially nice. After two days, my child left clutching his swim ring, refusing to let go, and cried, saying, "I want to stay for a hundred more days." My husband and I were tired, but seeing our child so happy made it all worthwhile. Tianyu isn't a hotel that impresses at first glance, but once you stay, you realize that all its design considerations are for families with children: the shade by the pool, the washing machine in the room, the free children's playground, the convenient beach access, the thoughtful airport shuttle... these details all add up to a vacation free of worries and full of joy. My child isn't usually cooperative for photos, but the photographer's candid shots were fantastic, capturing natural and lively moments. The post-editing was also exceptionally meticulous, which was a huge surprise for us – definitely a thumbs up! A special thanks to our butler, Yue Liang 🌙, who was attentive and reliable. In other hotels, I used to have to hand-wash and hang them on the balcony, and they'd still be damp the next day, which was quite uncomfortable. This time, I just threw the wet clothes into the washing machine and hung them on the drying rack, and they were completely dry and fresh by the next morning. Our family of three stayed at Tianyu, booking a deluxe sea-view room in Zone 2 for the first two nights. They arranged a great room on the 2nd floor with excellent views. The facilities were complete, and it was very clean. The sea view from the balcony was beautiful, and the 2.4-meter king-size bed was big and comfortable enough for the three of us. The washing machine was also super convenient. The public areas are beautiful, and Zone 1 is connected. There are lots of recreational facilities and a wide range of parent-child activities, which our child thoroughly enjoyed. We later decided to extend our stay by one night in a Zone 1 room. Compared to Zone 2, the Zone 1 rooms are newer, but Zone 2 rooms are larger, and the decor styles are different, so you can choose based on your personal needs. We're especially grateful to 🌙 for helping us coordinate luggage transfer and room changes; the service was very thoughtful. They messaged us to say they'd visit our room, but we happened to be out shopping at the duty-free store. On the day of check-out, they promptly helped us book the airport shuttle service and even assisted with express check-out. Service was 💯 perfect!

The staff at the beach and by the pool were also very friendly. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, with both Chinese and Western dishes, including plenty of seafood, noodles, fruits, and drinks. The food quality was great, and we could enjoy the garden views while having breakfast. The thoughtful service details were truly heartwarming and far from perfunctory. Both adults and children felt well taken care of. The service really added to our stay, the breakfast quality was top-notch, and we had a comfortable and fulfilling vacation experience.
