"Facilities: Absolutely loved the room, it was an unexpected delight. It was spacious, almost like a mini-suite, with a charming old European house vibe. The building itself is historic, filled with antique items. The decor was very comfortable, and the bed was great. The room had multiple balconies and windows with mountain views, and even old-fashioned keys, all contributing to a very reassuring atmosphere. There's also a public common area on the first floor where you can eat food brought from outside. Breakfast was good, very Swiss. Cleanliness: Very clean, especially the bathroom. Compared to other old houses I've stayed in, there weren't many insects here. It was cleaned daily. Environment: It's very close to the East Station, but actually only a twenty-minute walk to the West Station, making it super convenient to get to the town's main attractions and shopping areas. It's also very quiet. Service: The gentleman at the front desk during check-in was incredibly enthusiastic and meticulously explained everything. We also received an Interlaken City Card, which offers free public transport. Another lady was also very welcoming. One day later, a male staff member wasn't quite as understanding, but he still provided the necessary service, so it wasn't a big deal. It seemed like most of the hotel guests were Asian."

"We stayed for 2 nights in end-April at the Hotel Rossli Interlaken and the experience was just amazing. We were impressed by the hospitality and kindness shown by the host Jean-Louis and his team. He went the extra mile by gifting us with a Swiss film made by himself and his friend on DVD and USB so we could take home the good memories of Swiss and share these with family. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet and safe neighborhood and close to the Interlaken West train station. There are a few good bars nearby the hotel and you can enjoy free coffee and tea in the hotel lounge any time of the day. We really love the warm ambiance of the hotel. Great job Jean-Louis and your fabulous team!"

"Stayed at twin deluxe room which is newly renovated and on the higher floors. Chose this specific twin room because of its size. Pros: 1. Hotel staff were friendly both at reception and breakfast 2. Rooms were fairly large and modern, views were incredibly (ask for mountain facing room) 3. They will give you an Interlaken guest card. 4. Location is about 7-10 mins walk from Interlaken West Station and surrounded by high-end shops. 5. There's free self-service coffee and tea making area at one of the floors and its helpful if you have a jug/bottle to fill cold/hot water Cons: 1. Same breakfast everyday and it lacked variety 2. No kettle nor cups to make hot drinks (notice this is the case with hotels in Switzerland 3. TV channels were mostly in German language"

"Breakfast had a great selection and a good view! The stay was during Easter and we were also given an Easter bunny chocolate which was a great gesture."

"Not bad. The staff were very enthusiastic, and there's a private balcony where you can see the snowy mountains as soon as you open it."

"The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The breakfast, including bread and ham, was also delicious. Perhaps because it was an attic room, it tended to get humid and hot. While there was a small window for ventilation and an air conditioner to keep cool, the AC's operational or drainage noise was quite loud. I was able to sleep without the AC at night, so it wasn't a huge problem, but depending on the season, one might have to tolerate the noise. The location is great, close to both the station and a supermarket, making it perfect for exploring the town on foot or taking a bus to see the lake. The front desk staff were also very friendly. Overall, I was satisfied."

"Overall, this hotel is quite good. The location is very convenient, close to the city center, and surrounded by many restaurants and shopping areas. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and the beds are comfortable, suitable for extended stays. Although some areas are slightly dated, the hotel is clean and tidy overall. The hotel service is also excellent; the front desk staff are friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes are efficient."

"I'd give it a 9 out of 10. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, about a ten-minute walk from the Ostbahnhof. It's a bit far from the town center, so dining and shopping require a 15-20 minute walk. Overall, the hotel is very clean, and the breakfast spread is quite good. If I visit Interlaken again, I'd definitely consider staying here."

"Great Value & Perfect Base for Interlaken – Hotel Essential by DORITStayed at Hotel Essential by DORIT, it was exactly what we needed for exploring Interlaken.Location: 10/10. You’re 3 min walk from Interlaken West station and right by Lake Thun. Super easy to catch trains to Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, or hop on a boat cruise. Tons of restaurants, Coop, and cafés within a 5 min walk. You can’t beat it for convenience.Room: Clean, modern, and smartly designed. We had a Double Room and it made great use of space — comfortable bed, blackout curtains, and a surprisingly good shower with strong water pressure. Not huge, but perfect for travelers who are out all day. The views of the mountains from upper floors are a bonus.Cleanliness: Spotless. Housekeeping did a great job daily, and the whole property feels fresh and new. Breakfast: Simple but quality. Good coffee, fresh bread, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, and fruit. The breakfast room is small but cozy, with big windows. For the price, it’s more than fair. Service: Check-in was smooth and staff were friendly + efficient. They gave solid tips for hikes and printed our train tickets when we asked. The self-check-in kiosk is also handy if you arrive late.Vibe: Minimalist Swiss design with a boutique feel. No pool or spa, but that’s not why you stay here — you’re here to be out in the Jungfrau region all day. The common lounge area is great for planning routes or chilling with a coffee.Minor notes: Walls are a bit thin — we could hear doors closing at night. Also no elevator, so pack light if you’re on a higher floor. Street parking is limited, but the hotel helped us sort a public lot nearby.Overall: For the location, cleanliness, and price point, Hotel Essential by DORIT is hard to beat in Interlaken. It’s unpretentious, modern, and lets you spend your money on experiences instead of the room. "First, the hotel locations is very near to Interlaken West train station and it's walking distance to Interlaken city centre as well as Interlaken Ost. So it's great and easy access to most of the places like grindelwald, spiez, thun, and brienz. The hotel itself it's abit old and honestly I dont really like the bathroom as it abit like run out. The cupboard and hanger also having some dust which makes me feels uneasy. I booked room with single bed, it has window but because now they are doing some outdoor renovation which blocked the view outside my window, that's really like a minus point to me. Overall I think, with the price I pay, I should get a better hotels than this."
