Scenic Hotels in Fuqing

"This was my first time in Fuqing, and I was surprised to find a five-star hotel in a county-level city. The hotel is very new, and both the service and facilities are excellent. Every time I took a taxi, the doorman would help open and close the car door. The hotel gym also has a lot of equipment, unlike typical budget hotels that only have treadmills. For fitness enthusiasts, it’s definitely sufficient, with leg press machines, cable crossovers, glute/hamstring machines, hack squats, high pulldowns, seated leg raises, and more. The hotel room was spacious, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and most importantly, it had a bathtub, which I absolutely love. The hotel breakfast was very rich, offering Western, Chinese, and local Fuqing dishes. Plus, the local Fuqing snacks seemed to vary daily. One day I remember having bian rou (wontons), oyster cakes, and xian mian (thin noodles). All in all, I give Sheraton full marks in every aspect. If I come to Fuqing again, I will definitely choose Sheraton. International chains are worth experiencing."

"I stayed here last year and had a pretty good experience, so I specifically chose to come back again this time. However, the experience wasn't as good as last year. First off, there were no discounts or room upgrades for returning guests. The wooden hangers in the closet were terrible! They were severely peeling and completely unusable. Luckily, there was a simple rack with some plastic hangers. The shower door was also a major letdown; water leaked all over the bathroom floor from the bottom left corner every time we showered. I called housekeeping, and an attendant came to mop and replace the bathmat, but the same thing happened after my family showered. We had to block the area with a pile of towels the next day to prevent water from overflowing everywhere! The staff at the breakfast noodle station also had a very stiff demeanor; it definitely didn't meet a five-star service standard."

The cleaning of the pioneer after the renovation is a little incomplete, and some places have not been wiped clean after the dust is wet but still there are traces, and there are unknown stains on the coffee table. The lobby is very refreshing and beautiful, it is also large and clean, and has its own parking lot. Don't worry about parking around and looking for parking spaces. It feels good to enter the hotel during the day, but after returning to close the window at night, lying on the bed and smelling the room with a rotten musty smell, or the carpet is not so clean? ! The wardrobe and bathroom are still clean, but there are also dead corners. The bathroom has a clothes rail. It is very good to wash the clothes and put them in it. Of course, if you bring a hanger or a clothesline when you travel by yourself, you can also dry them on the open space of the parking lot. After all, the sun can kill bacteria. The toilet is very easy to use, unlike some hotel toilets, it is not good to flush when pressed lightly, and you have to press it hard. The bathroom water is very large and very hot. You can also adjust the cold and hot by yourself. The water is not very powerful. After a long time, the water will accumulate. You have to turn off the water first, otherwise you will have to flush the boat at your feet."
