Not a clean room at all. Suspicious brown dirty streaks all around the bathroom, chips out of the furniture and random paint marks up and down the walls. I’ve stayed at better Premier Inns.

A very clean and tidy Hotel, in a bit of a hilly location… still very central…staff were very friendly, breakfast excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

Antique hotel in a very good location close to the beach however no nothing is guaranteed by the hotel. There is no option to book parking (first come first serve basis), they can’t guarantee a good view to the sea even through you book a sea view room (you can end up to the side of the hotel which allows you a glimpse to the sea and that’s not what you really want and pay for). When trying to call the hotel goes to a customer service desk then they transfer you to the main reception which ends up with a dropped call several times considering the call is being charged per minute (we’re not in the 80’s, take some ownership for this please), if you finally get through they won’t be able to reserve a parking space at the hotel and guide you to park elsewhere (this you can literally do yourself without the hassle and waste of time). None of these (parking and room selection) are communicated precisely until you check in which in essence makes no sense when you want to plan your stay ahead. Overall the staff is kind and friendly so no improvement needed here, the opportunity stands for the hotel management who implement procedures and policies. The rooms have a heavy smell due to the age of the building, there is a brochure that explains refurbishment undergoing in that sense. Wifi - you can have daily access if you pay for wifi (I believe it was £7/24 hours) , this is also a thumbs down nowadays (tips: if you want to charge for wifi include this in the overall price fees so people don’t obviously pick on this or just offer it with the stay like a respectable business - a coffee shop where you spend £3 for a coffee offers it for free on a daily basis, think about it). Looking at breakfast - there is full English or cereal, oats and fruit. The terrace looks pretty nice, well looked after, a nice oasis to relax your senses listening to the sea waves. There is a chess board on a bigger scale just on the terrace, this if a nice setup and addition to the hotel vibe. I booked for celebrate my husband's birthday. Staff very nice and helpful. They prepared the card and some chocolate for us to celebrate. And our room is Seaview room that so nice. Location very good. I have a great trip with my family in Bournemouth.

Stunning hotel, great location. Everything was fantastic. Small thing is room 109 has a small frosted window with no view. When opening it opens to a dirty mucky roof. We did not leave it open as vermin might enter the room. We also mentioned it was a 40th bday but no extras not even a note.

Nice hotel, not far from the beach. Breakfast was good but was only until 9.30am. Rooms were nice, spacious and clean we had a balcony room with lovely views of the beach, the rooms were quite hot and no A.C which is needed in hot weather. The outdoor pool is heated but no indoor pool for when the weather isn’t good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

A very nice and clean hotel. Our room was big enough, with a comfortable mattress and with all the basics available. Great location close to the town centre, the coastline and the railway station. A very good selection of food for breakfast. Highly recommended!

The breakfast is good, there is a parking lot, and you can take extra beds with children. The hotel is extremely considerate and courteous to its customers. We arrived at the hotel from London Heathrow Airport very late on January 17th. The front desk guy with glasses welcomed us warmly and helped us carry our luggage to the room. We came to participate in a ballroom dancing competition. We originally booked a hotel for 4 days, but the teacher asked us to come 1 day earlier, and we later booked an additional day. After staying for 1 day, we had to change rooms for another 4 days due to room type issues. We didn’t want to deal with the big stuff, but a female manager, the lady leader, was very considerate and helped us move to the next door, which was very convenient. We booked a double bed, but it was new. The room is a single bed room. For our convenience, an extra bed was added. We are very grateful. And in the next few days, she came to ask if our stay was comfortable, she was very warm and thoughtful. I hope to stay in this hotel again when I come to participate in the UK OPEN competition in the future!

Good location and cleanliness, sea view if you upgrade your room. Only the tv was not working, and bad at Sound insulation, cause I can hear others talking at night

Booked as a last minute, lovely hotel.. Reception staff could not of been more helpful. We got upgraded to a sea view, and the room was spacious & lovely. .. there’s a lovely grandness to the hotel , so I felt sad that the smallest of Maintenon job that I noticed let it down, for example , the conference room opposite the reception curtain we’re hanging off it’s rail. So simple to rectify I’m sure. Bar drinks, VERY overly priced . Didn’t use the Spa as closed at 6pm . I would return to this hotel., as stated the reception ladies were smiley, & helpful.
