Trouville Bournemouth - OCEANA COLLECTION

Trouville Bournemouth - OCEANA COLLECTION ★★★

📍 5 Priory Rd, Bournemouth

"I was originally allocated a signature family room on the second, room 213 but when I entered the room the beds were unmade and there were lots of dirty towels in the bathtub, this was at 16:30 and all the chambermaids had gone home ! I immediately informed the hotel staff and was allocated a smaller double room on the third floor, room 308, which had a great sea view, but was very hot and the water pressure in the bathtub and the shower was next to nothing, as it driped out slowly ! Not to mention the loud banging doors ! I had to keep the fan on all the time otherwise I could of fainted ! Be careful when booking with this hotel, but still good value for money !"

Royal Bath Hotel
8.0 (135 reviews)

Royal Bath Hotel ★★★★

📍 Bath Rd, Bournemouth

"Stunning Views and Great Service, but Watch the Extras My wife and I stayed here from Friday to Sunday and had a lovely experience overall. The highlight was definitely the friendly staff—to our surprise, they upgraded us to a beautiful sea view room without us even asking! The Good: Location: Simply unbeatable. It’s a very short, walkable distance to the beach and local attractions. Service: The team was welcoming and proactive. The Not-So-Good: Extra Charges: We were disappointed to find that leisure services (pool/gym) come with a fee of £5 per person, per day. Parking: It is quite expensive. Honestly, you might be better off looking at nearby public parking lots, which are more budget-friendly. Overall, a great stay for the location and the view, just be mindful of the add-on costs."

Best Western Plus the Connaught Hotel Spa ★★★★

📍 30 W Hill Rd, W Cliff Rd, Bournemouth

"We got upgraded as soon as we came which was nice However there were hairs in the bathroom floor And a little mark on the bedsheet but it was sorted as I spoke. Over all it was a good place to stay"

Holiday Inn BOURNEMOUTH by IHG
8.9 (83 reviews)

Holiday Inn BOURNEMOUTH by IHG ★★★★

📍 22 Bath Rd, Bournemouth

"Relatively small Holiday Inn but still good and good value. Helpful staff. Main issue was that we arrived at breakfast at about 9.45 (it stated that breakfast was served until 10.30). They had run out some of the items which weren’t replaced, and only served some items after about 10.20 when asked. Otherwise, an enjoyable couple of nights."

Hotel Celebrity Bournemouth East Cliff by Villare Hotels
7.1 (89 reviews)

Hotel Celebrity Bournemouth East Cliff by Villare Hotels ★★★

📍 47 Gervis Rd, Bournemouth

"Reception and Breakfast staff very helpful. As others say it does strike a good match between value and price. Room and bathroom v. clean. Rooms are actor/celebrity themed with a few pics of the star in question on the walls (clue is in the name). Breakfast is a buffet arrangement and fine. Probably, as we stayed over the weekend, it was a bit noisy with groups returning to the hotel at night but this had been advised when booking and it is Bournemouth. Location great for getting onto the beach and is near the eastern end of the town centre. About 10 mins walk from train station. A  small Asda is located nearby as part of gas station for basics.  "

Bournemouth West Cliff Hotel & Spa ★★★

Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel

Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel ★★★★

📍 105 St Michael's Rd, W Cliff Rd, Bournemouth

"This hotel was great, far exceeding my expectations! The room was quite spacious, especially compared to other Marriott hotels I've stayed at in the UK. The pool and restaurant were also excellent. Definitely recommended, especially for a summer trip!"

"Very good location, easy bus to the centre but also you have very nice less crowded beach just about 5 min walk. Quiet location, local shop about 3 min walk. We didn’t had a view 😅 But I guess you are not coming there to sit in the room. Also very nice and friendly staff!!!"

Royal Bath Hotel ★★★★
"I recently stayed at The Bath Hotel Beaumont from 25th to 26th April, where we had booked two standard rooms with windows. Unfortunately, the experience was quite inconsistent. One of the rooms was very good, clean, and comfortable. However, the second room was extremely disappointing and in poor condition. It was significantly below expectations, especially considering both rooms were booked under the same category. I would strongly advise avoiding the smaller standard rooms, as the quality seems to vary greatly. On a positive note, the hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. The spa and swimming pool facilities are also good; however, it should be clearly noted that these come at an additional cost per person, which is not communicated transparently at the time of booking. Parking is available but costs around £25 per day. Unfortunately, the service associated with this was very poor. Our car was parked under a tree and was left covered in bird droppings. When we raised this concern, the staff were unhelpful and stated they did not have the manpower to clean it. Instead, we were given cleaning supplies and expected to clean the car ourselves, which is highly unprofessional given the price charged. Additionally, the valet service was unreliable. On multiple occasions, we had to wait 15–20 minutes for our car, and twice we ended up retrieving it ourselves after being told to wait. This defeats the purpose of a paid valet service. The staff, particularly at reception, came across as rude and unprofessional, especially when handling complaints. For a hotel of this standard, the lack of basic service, including room service or an efficient call service, was surprising. Overall, while the location and some facilities are good, the inconsistency in room quality and poor customer service significantly impacted our stay. I would not recommend this hotel unless improvements are made."

Hotel Celebrity Bournemouth East Cliff by Villare Hotels ★★★
"Honestly, the location is fine - it's within walking distance to the Bournemouth town centre and also to the beach - you cannot ask for a better location in the area IMO! The problem is.... the other things in the hotel. First of all, this was the second stop of my 16 days trip in the UK and I went all the way from London to Bournemouth to Milton Keynes to Nottingham to Chester to Cambridge etc. etc. etc., but this was the only hotel which charges customers for a parking fee! Well you could say 10GBP a day wasn't much but I would prefer they kinda of blend this cost into the hotel cost - I didn't have to pay fees for hotels in city centre areas like Nottingham, Cambridge etc so it's hard to accept parking fee is needed. The room was just so-and-so... Shower water was extremely slow and the furnitures are very old. Besides, one of the worst thing is the noise level - in both nights of staying there were party / into-the-latenight celebration or something from the hotel bar area which was a real nuisance! I didn't expect this from a quiet area in Bournemouth! Breakfast was okay though - about the only thing I like about this hotel I guess..... Anyway, if you are going to Bournemouth, I believe you can get better options - not to mention this was the most expensive hotel in my whole trip, even though it's probabaly the worst."

"A great stay ! Only issue was the toilet flush/ tank which is a common issue within the building. We were promptly moved to another lovely room. Not the staffs fault . Worth paying extra for a superior room. We won’t hesitate to rebook when we next visit family in Bournemouth . Thank you"
