Sunrise Hotel Seongsan Reviews

Although it's an older hotel, it was quite clean. Good value for money. There were many restaurants within walking distance, and the air conditioning worked well. Its proximity to Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) was a big plus.

This was a great value-for-money stay. Even though our affordable room didn't have a view of Seongsan Ilchulbong, we could see it clearly right outside. The location was also perfect for getting around. I was very satisfied, haha.

We had a very pleasant stay at Sunrise Hotel Seongsan. The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. The location is one of the biggest advantages. There is a bus stop nearby, and many of the main places to visit in the Seongsan area are within walking distance. The ferry terminal for Udo Island is also close, making it very convenient to plan a trip there. There are also plenty of lovely cafés and restaurants around the hotel, which was a nice bonus. The only thing we missed was a washing machine, as having laundry facilities would have made our stay even more convenient. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel and its location!

The bathroom had used towels still hanging and urine stains were left on the toilet bowl. There was also an unidentifiable stain in the corner of the room next to the bed. I tried sending a text message to the phone number on the door, but received no response. Moreover, the faucet for hot water in the shower was so stiff it was hard to turn, and the hot water only trickled out. Considering the state of the air conditioner, it seems like a pretty old hotel, and the overall cleanliness of the room was poor. However, the location of the accommodation was great. It's near Seongsan Ilchulbong, so there are many amenities and places to go nearby. The large window was also a plus for looking outside; the sunlight reflecting on the lake (or body of water?) was beautiful.

Just a few hundred meters from the attractions and very close to the bus stop. The room is basic, but for a 200 yuan sea view room, what more could you ask for? It's great value for money! There are also plenty of food options nearby.

We lived our stay in the Sunrise Hotel Seongsan. We had a room with a view on the sea, for a really cheap price. The hotel is close to the boat terminal, for Udo Island and we could let our luggage there for the day before the check-in.

Sunrise Hotel Seongsan is a very clean and modern hotel. It is a short walk to the Seongsan volcano for the morning sunrise. Food service is not provided by the hotel.

Check-in is at 3 PM, but you can drop off your luggage earlier. Take bus 201 and get off at Seongsan-ri Entrance. After you get off, you'll see Mancho Restaurant at the intersection – it's really good value and delicious, only 10,000 won! Walk straight from the intersection to the beach, then turn right and you'll see the hotel. On the first floor, there are computers and a Starbucks vending machine. From the ocean-view rooms, you can see people gathering seafood at low tide.

I booked this place for a marathon, but the venue was too far to walk to, so I had to drive, lol. For an older place, the interior was clean, and the ocean view was lovely. Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) was less than a 10-minute walk away, so I visited that too. Gwangchigi Beach and the area around Seongsan Ilchulbong are all within walking distance, which is nice.

The hotel is a bit old. Bedding is not very comfortable and a bit dusty. Towels are very small Location is close to the Seongsan Ilchubong. Other than that is ordinary.

The hotel doesn't have many parking spaces, but luckily there's plenty of parking available in the nearby alleys. It's only a 10-minute walk to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, which is very convenient for guests wanting to catch the sunrise. The ocean view rooms are quite comfortable, offering great views of the sea.

Excellent service, and they speak Chinese which was a huge plus. Plenty of parking too. Overall, a fantastic experience! The views are beautiful, and the rooms are very spacious. Truly a great hotel with a very clean environment.

Great location, right next to the main attraction. There's free parking available. The room is spacious and has all the amenities.

Parking is limited and a bit difficult to maneuver. The front desk staff were quite helpful. The hotel had a pleasant, welcoming scent upon entry, which was nice. There's no water dispenser, but two bottles of water are provided. The shower stall doesn't have a door, so be careful of water leaking out (you might need to lay down a towel). The bed is on the firmer side, and there's a mattress protector under the sheets, which was a bit uncomfortable. There was also a small leak from the ceiling near the Tiandi Yuan area.
