Recommended to stay here as staff were very friendly and assisted fully in checking in and providing assistance. Breakfast was pretty decent as well and area was close to station, so it was easy to access other food areas such a Myeongdong. However, not much food options in the proximity of the hotel, aside from a 24hr ramyeon store.

Review: Hotel Skypark Myeong-dong
I recently stayed at Skypark Hotel in Myeong-dong, and it was a fantastic experience overall!
Location
The location is unbeatable—it’s right in the heart of Myeong-dong, surrounded by endless shopping streets, restaurants, and street food stalls. It’s also super convenient for transportation, with a subway station just a few minutes’ walk away.
Rooms
The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. While they were a bit compact, they had everything I needed, including comfortable beds, a clean bathroom, and basic amenities. The decor was modern and pleasing, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
Service
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They spoke English well and were always ready to assist with directions or recommendations for nearby attractions.
Facilities
The hotel offers a few useful amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a lounge area, and shuttle services to certain tourist spots. Some locations even have a rooftop garden or space to relax.
Value for Money
Considering the location and quality of service, Skypark Hotel offers excellent value for money. It’s perfect for travelers looking to explore Myeong-dong while staying in a comfortable and convenient place.
I would definitely recommend Skypark Hotel in Myeong-dong to anyone visiting Seoul for its prime location and great service!

Location was perfect just that the room size is a little small (especially the bathroom). Please note that this hotel doesn’t provide daily cleaning service but they do change the towels and top up bottled water daily. A special shout-out to Mr Jae Seok for the warm hospitality rendered to my toddler and I! We will book this hotel again (higher tier room for bigger space)!

About 200m from the subway dongndaemon history and culture station.
No escalator up, so will be problematic if u have luggage.
Resturant are overpriced.
Pool and gym are nice. Pools are heated and need to be reserved. Choldren room is small but adequate.
We stayed in a room with a Namsan view. The room layout is modern and clean, and the space is just right. The bed and pillows are comfortable—I had a good night's sleep during my stay.
However, what I felt was lacking for a 5-star hotel was the staff’s attitude toward serving guests. In particular, the reception staff were not responsive or helpful.
The nearest train station is Dongguk University. On the way there, there's a slope leading down to the station. Coming back, this slope can be tiring to climb. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families traveling with elderly parents, as the uphill walk may be inconvenient.

It is in a fantastic location, right on Myeongdong shopping street; and it is also a stone throw from the metro station. The room is of decent size, and the room was very warm. We tried to adjust the temperature but didn't seem to work. Perhaps its temperature is centrally ontrolled.

From the Incheon airport, you can take AREX and change to line 1 at Seoul Station. You can change to line 4 from Seoul station and get off at the next station, Hoehyeon station. You can go to exit 3. Unfortunately, there is no escalator, so if you have heavy luggage and things, you must go up the stairs yourself. Except for this drawback, the location was good, near Myeondong, and I also went to the Namsan cable car on foot. The welcoming and check-in process was easy. The breakfast selection was varied and a little bit crowded. Room cleaning is not satisfactory, cause the inside door area of my room was sticky and it remained for three consecutive days. The gym and pool were small. To sum up, I would love to stay again next time.

The location is good, in food distance fron all main tourist's locations.
On one side is a construction work but it was silent during our stay
Rooms with Japanese style toilet. Room is not spacious but okay
Be careful when booking here - I always assumed that when you book on trip.com with breakfast it includes for all guest - but here for the first time it's one breakfast per guest.
Although want to point out that we were asked for deposit - asked for credit card whicg we didn't had, asked staff to deposit in us dollars - they said that it isn't possible. But when we said that credit card is not an option - they took the blank for cash deposit immediately.
I don't appreciate lying. Besides that we didn't had much contact with stuff

The location is pretty good and the staff is sweet and helpful, but I wouldn’t book a room there again because the mattress and the pillow are really hard, I could barely get any sleep on the week I spent there.
- Pros: good location; good staff; there’s a fridge in the room; they give you free bottled water; there are microwaves, kettles and disposable cutlery for free use.
- Cons: mattress and pillow are way too hard (it’s a con for me); the room key took forever to open the door, every single time (it kinda worked as it wanted, there was no right position to put it so it would work).
I was surprised by the facilities of this hotel.
I can't forget the moment I worked in the hotel's lounge.
The moment I worked with the pleasant space and furniture of the hotel lounge was the most concentrating moment in my life.
The room's artificiality is very luxurious and fragrant. This is the part that I was most satisfied with.
If I can visit Seoul next time, I will stay at this hotel again.

AAnonymous UserGreat location, hotels close to everywhere I wanted to go. From airport can take bus 6015 and alight at ibis, Stanford hotel is just beside ibis. One downside is the doors are not soundproof and Toilet fixtures seems a bit old as well

GGuest UserVery convenient location as the airport bus is just right at the door step. Markets are nearby for visit . Shopping mall area also around the area which make it very easy to access. Hotel room are small but cosy. Staffs are friendly and helpful with our enquiry . Would book again if going again
GGuest UserLocationwise very good, central to subway Cityhall and close to shops and restaurants.
Service by reception also very good 👍
However. Disappointed by apartment unit, i feel its style over practicality. The unit is very narrow and does not have a lot of space. Why put in a indoor ‘garden’ over a seating/sofa area in front of the tv?
Beds are hard and not very comfortable, the AC unit was not consistent and blowing cold air during sleep.
Not a lot of cupboards and no hooks for storage.
Family of 4 was struggling with available space which is intended for 6 persons.

GGuest UserGood location, bit up the hill but located close to the subway station.
Not very social so not that great for solo travelers.
The female dorm is on the 5th and has no windows or air circulation, the ac was off and no way of getting fresh air in. Many people were sick and coughing all night when the room was boiling hot.

AAnonymous UserIt was quite far from myeongdong, but it's ok to light walk because of the artistic paint walls across by my accomdation. My plays were between myeongdong and namsan tower, so it was comfortable to find the locations that I wanted to visit..

DDeksonThe hotel’s location is convenient, but the overall experience was disappointing. The room itself is basic, offering minimal amenities. A major issue occurred when I couldn’t enter my room at midnight because the door’s battery had died. I had to wait over an hour for staff to resolve the problem, which was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. This incident overshadowed my stay and highlighted poor maintenance and service response. While the location is great, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless improvements are made.

PpinちゃんI love this hotel.
The people at the front desk are also very kind. It cannot be denied that it is old, but the bathroom and toilet are spacious and clean. There is even a bathtub.
The rooms are so spacious that it's a shame to waste them, and you can stay there comfortably.
The sauna time ends early in the evening, so I used the bath in my room in the evening and the sauna in the morning.
It's a fun time interacting with the locals.
Also, the lady in the sauna doesn't speak, but she understands Japanese.
Of course, the people at the hotel front desk can speak Japanese.
It's a good hotel.
タタケノコノコThe location is very good. The room was very warm with floor heating, and the room never got cold even during my trip in November. The amenities were not small, but shared lotion, milky lotion, comb, etc., but I didn't use them.
I stayed here because I was only going to sleep, so I was looking for a cheap place, but I won't be coming back.
