Hotels in Yongsan/Itaewon, Seoul

I stayed here for a night out in Seoul with a close friends from high school, and his wife meeting up in Asia. As always, when staying at the Grand Hyatt, you end up not having a “night out” but rather a “night in” because the amenities at the hotel are spectacular. The live band in the lobby bar, the pool turned into the Girbaud ice skating rink, amazingly cooked steakhouse, the indoor pool, etc etc. We had a great night, and once again, when staying at any Grand Hyatt, you never know who you’ll run into. On this occasion, we had run into solo artist/actor Mr Henry Lau, also from Super Junior, and was he was not only kind enough to take a quick photo with my friend’s wife, but I messed up the photo—and after learning I had bumbled the photo during her opportunity to meet one of her k-pop idols—was willing to take another entire series of photos. The staff ended up helping me with a medical emergency in the middle of the night and stayed very calm during the entire process. Which I will also report to the company directly. When traveling to Korea—Seoul, Jeju, etc. and anywhere abroad I often stay at the Grand Hyatt in the King Corner Suite. Such a beautiful room, but on this occasion it was just a normal King River view on 9F. A bit small for 3 people, but they made a sofa bed for me while I gave the couple the bed since I only grabbed the room for us (me) for a few hours before I head back to Wuhan—allowing my friends to enjoy the hotel to themselves after I departed. Easy checkout process for them. It was very nice. Will definitely be back. Grand Hyatt ＜3 !

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They gave me directions whenever needed and helped me get a SIM card. The hotel is a walking distance from itaewon subway station where you can find a variety of restaurants and shops. The hotel design, cleanliness and services are top notch! The underground ground floor had a library, restaurants, a cafe and a convenience store which I really loved!! Gym, sauna and jacuzzi can be used once a day and are very clean and well maintained. Will definitely come back here it’s worth every penny

This hotel is particularly suited for those who want to enjoy the nightlife in Itaewon. Pros: - Excellent location: close to the subway, nightclubs, 24-hour street food, and convenience stores - Well-equipped with useful facilities. - Friendly and helpful housekeeping staff Cons: - The air conditioning is centrally controlled and was turned off at night, making the room uncomfortably warm sometimes - Noise from nearby nightclubs can be heard until early morning, which may disturb light sleepers

The double room was a good size. Location is nice and central. Front desk staff helped us search for Kpop concerts and also helped fix a HDMI connection in the room so that we could watch international tv channels.

Fantastic boutique hotel! Location, services and interior (room & lobby) was superb. Love the funky artistic design! Itaewon station and the night spot area was less than 10 minutes walk! definitely will recommend this hotel

I thought it would be great considering the price plus I've stayed there before in mainland China. But I was a little disappointed. Although the facilities are maintained, you can tell they are old. Especially the shower water is sometimes hot and sometimes cold... I was a little dumbfounded how could there be such a problem. For breakfast, if you are staying for several days, I suggest you don't buy it every day because there are only four sets to choose from. But they are very exquisite~ and delicious. The overall service is great, nothing to complain about. Especially the front desk lady is super good. She helped me call a taxi. I needed to change the address temporarily and she ran out to confirm with the driver. It's great. The attitude is also very good. There are people to help with luggage when getting on and off the car👍🏻👍🏻

Very close to Itaewon station. I arrived late (around 12am) so they left my key in the locker. Towels are provided. The room has a window but it’s next to one bed and at the end, when the bed is closed with the curtains, there’s no natural sunlight in the room. Overall it’s recommended.

The walk from the bus station to the hostel is like climbing a mountain, I hate that I need to take off my shoes every time ,but that understandable bc it’s their culture .but I don’t understand why do I need to keep my bag in the luggage store ,bc it’s big and there is no place in the room . that was really hard for me I need to go down every time to take my clothes downstairs where my bag is at also there is no bed sheet

Never checked in because I wasn’t allowed to enter the country for reason I don’t n know about….And they refused to refund my payment

とても綺麗に掃除されていて快適でした。換気の問題でボイラーが切れお湯が途中で水になるのですが、窓を開けて入ることでボイラーが止まらずお湯のままシャワー使えました。お部屋はとてもシンプルでテレビもありませんが、遊び疲れて寝るだけなので問題なしです。 入り口から急な階段を登ります。荷物を持って登り降りする覚悟が必要ですが、3階までしかお部屋がないので荷物運びも苦になりませんでした。　セルフチェックインアウトで誰にも会いませんでした。備品の補充はメールで連絡するとすぐお返事くださり助かりました。必要以上以下でもない設備で、旅慣れしている人ならとても満足する宿です。また泊まりたいです。 梨泰院に近いですが騒がしくなく、ぐっすり眠れました。
