I stayed here for 4 nights in a private room with a private bathroom. Check in and Check out was very easy. After carrying my luggage to the third floor I noticed I didn't have Wifi or towels but it was an easy fix. Just plugged in the wifi router in and got some towels from the counter. It was pretty clean and I could not detect much noise from the neighbours which made it easy to relax after a long day. There was a projector you could watch Netflix/ YouTube etc. which was very nice as well. Subway station and next 편의점 was less than 3mins on foot. All in all I think this is a great stay for this price. Only thing what was a bit uncomfortable for was that i couldn't find the water temperature that i prefer when showering (either too hot or too cold). But maybe that's just a me problem. I can recommend this place!
Review of Seongbuk Piano
Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5)
I recently stayed at Seongbuk Piano during a cross-country road trip, which was a mixed experience.
Location: The motel is conveniently located just off the highway, making it a great spot for travelers needing a quick stop. A cafe and convenience store are nearby, which is a plus.
Check-In/Check-Out: The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. Check-out was straightforward as well, with no issues.
Room: The room was clean but quite dated. The furnishings seemed from the '90s, and the décor could be refreshed. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, but the pillows were a bit lumpy. There was a small fridge and microwave, which were handy, but the TV remote was missing. I had to call the front desk to get a replacement.
Amenities: The motel offers free Wi-Fi, which is reliable.
Cleanliness: Overall, the room was clean, though I noticed some dust on the bedside lamp and the bathroom could use a deeper clean. The bed linens and towels were fresh.
Noise Level: The motel is located near a busy road, so there was some traffic noise, but it wasn’t too disruptive. However, you might want to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
Value for Money: Given the rates, it’s a decent value. It’s not luxurious, but it’s a budget-friendly option for a short stay. If you’re looking for something more upscale, you might want to look elsewhere.
Overall: Seongbuk Piano is a solid choice for a brief overnight stop, especially if you’re traveling on a budget. It’s not the most modern or luxurious option, but it gets the job done with friendly service and basic amenities.
Would I recommend it? Yes, if you’re looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly place to rest on a long drive. For a longer stay or if you’re seeking more comfort, you might want to explore other options.
Very convenient location as the airport bus is just right at the door step. Markets are nearby for visit . Shopping mall area also around the area which make it very easy to access. Hotel room are small but cosy. Staffs are friendly and helpful with our enquiry . Would book again if going again

Location: 4/5
Subway 4/5
Conveniently located near Dongmyo & Dongdaemun, you will have access to most places you need to go, though there is no direct connection to the popular Line 2 so you will need to do a trasnfer one station down at DDP. Took some points off since the walks are long between the lines.
Airport 5/5
The airport bus stop is literally right outside the alleyway connecting the main street and the hotel. No complaints.
Cleanliness: 4/5
Some mild stains on the sheets was found but overall for what you pay for, it is relatively clean and no big issues. You can request for your room to be made-up every morning.
Ammenities: 4/5
Water pressure shower head is low, but stil gets the job done. All in-room ammenities was functioning well, and you also get water bottles everyday refilled (or take them from the lobby). One minor inconvenience is that there is no bathroom floor mat, so you can imagine many travellers might use one of the provided towels for that purpose 🤧
Overall budget-friendly and solo-friendly as it is located in a more neighbourhood area of Seoul with minimal tourists and crowd. Felt safe walking back even later in the night. Only issue is you would have to find food elsewhere, or order delivery because the options are pretty limited and the nearest CVS is a small 7-11.
The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel and room are pretty clean although there are some stains on the pillowcase and bedsheet. Small towels are provided with hairdryer, hot water kettle, cups, and instant coffee. Well worth the price. However, the location is very difficult to locate as has to walk through the alley which can be quite scary for females walking through the alley in the dark.
Good location, it is easy travel from & to airport, very near subway. Night shift staff is so helpful and smart. Room is clean and quiet even we are at 3/f, finally, hotel is low-cost & hagh-quality😃
A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Seoul – Unforgettable Stay at Glue Hotel! 🌇✨
Our stay at Glue Hotel in Dongdaemun was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped into the room, we were greeted with a warm, modern aesthetic and a breathtaking view that completely stole our hearts. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay – but what truly made it unforgettable was the sunset view.
The location is incredibly convenient too – not too far from dongdaemun subway and just a short walk to Dongdaemun Design Plaza, CU store, and markets, yet the hotel feels peaceful and tucked away from the city’s hustle.
We’ve stayed in many hotels around Seoul, but Glue Hotel gave us one of the best experiences we've ever had. Highly recommend booking a room with a view – you won't regret it. We’ll definitely be back!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It was bigger than I expected, the location was good, and the manager was kind. No matter what time I left the hotel, the towels were refreshed every time. I would like to use it again.
The part of the shower and toilet was large and very nice.
Good: location was very close to the main wholesale malls and there are restaurants opening 24hrs nearby.
Bad: front desk staff (the female staff who was in the night shift on 18-May) was unfriendly. We wanted to order fried chicken using the phone but we cannot understand what the owner was talking so we asked her if she could help with the ordering (meaning translate for us while we order). She was so rude to say we had to order by ourselves... At last, we managed to seek her help for the translation over the phone, but she was really unhelpful and kept frowning at us .
We stayed for a week in the Deluxe Suite. The room is clean, front desk and housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. No complains, just that location is not so convenient to shopping area, it’s more like local business area where many shops and cafes are closed on Saturday and Sunday. It’s a good 20mins walk away to major shopping area, or need to take bus to train station or shopping area like Dongdaemun , Gwangjang market etc

Outstanding
GGIOCKI stayed one night with my child's friend and his family at Daedongjang, a one-minute walk from Exit 3 of Euljiro 5-ga Station. We booked a four-person room (family room) and a single room, and they upgraded the single room to a double, which made our stay comfortable.
The accommodation was very neat and clean overall.
The lobby was equipped with a table, coffee machine, and light snacks, making it a great place to relax.
There was a small refrigerator in the room, and there was also a shared refrigerator, which I think would be useful for long-term stays.
The owner was incredibly attentive and warm. I appreciated his thoughtful consideration for our guests' comfort.
This renovated inn, originally run by a grandmother since 1954, was decorated with vintage mother-of-pearl cabinets and mirrors, creating a charming atmosphere. The interior, which blends traditional and modern elements, was impressive.
Nearby Gwangjang Market and Bangsan Market, there were plenty of eateries and attractions, and transportation was very convenient.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and cozy place in the heart of Seoul!
GGuest UserWe stayed in a group of four, just enough,
The room facilities are very satisfactory, two bathrooms, two large beds and two small beds. There are kitchenware, refrigerators, washing machines, and vinyl record machines. The top floor city view is very good, you can see the night view of Seoul.
The fly in the ointment is that the hotel is on the mountain, the traffic may not be convenient, it is not easy to call a car, but the landlord can help to call a taxi.
By the way, the landlord can speak Chinese.
GGuest UserThe apartment is located next to the ancient city wall of Seoul. There are many art studios along the road, as well as flowers, plants, trees, etc. The whole road is very quiet and comfortable. It is very close to the city center. It takes about 10 to 20 minutes to take a taxi to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Myeongdong. It is suitable for friends to travel together. Although there are some slopes nearby, the landlord is considerate and provides cash subsidies. I am very happy living here.
PPR694th time there and second time pictures dont match the room we got.Squeezed a big bed as second bed inside the small room. This was too much now. Kids could not even open a suitcase. carpet and interiors different to booked room too. same price last time including breakfast which is hostel style.now they paid on top. thats not a family- room, its a divorce and wanting to move to different continents- room.1 night maybe ok but not 3 or more.
VVJEOne of the most complete hotel I ever stayed in Seoul. Room is spacious, there is sufficient space to open up four of our 28” luggages and yet we still have plenty of walkways.
The housekeeping team is another plus point added to the stay: New set of amenities (4x towels, 1x toilet roll, 4x toothbrush kit, 4x bottled water) will be placed at your door everyday.
The common area at ground floor are cozy and comfortable, they also provide basic such as cutleries, plates and napkins which make it more convenient. We had a small celebration for my brother birthday and loving the ambience there.
We really enjoyed our stay here, and would love to be back for the next trip.
Kudos to the management team! ❤️
Yyu-yunoI stayed at this hotel with good access because there was a live performance at Tiger Dome.
As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the staff welcomed me and carried my suitcase to my room. Thank you for the hard way to climb the stairs with a heavy suitcase!
You can eat delicious coffee and toast freely, and the room also had a personal computer, hair iron, and foot massager, which was very convenient.
Ajoshi, who said, ”I'm a Korean father,” was kind and I was really happy to be kind. Thank you very much. I will use it again.
タタケノコノコThe location is very good. The room was very warm with floor heating, and the room never got cold even during my trip in November. The amenities were not small, but shared lotion, milky lotion, comb, etc., but I didn't use them.
I stayed here because I was only going to sleep, so I was looking for a cheap place, but I won't be coming back.
PpinちゃんI love this hotel.
The people at the front desk are also very kind. It cannot be denied that it is old, but the bathroom and toilet are spacious and clean. There is even a bathtub.
The rooms are so spacious that it's a shame to waste them, and you can stay there comfortably.
The sauna time ends early in the evening, so I used the bath in my room in the evening and the sauna in the morning.
It's a fun time interacting with the locals.
Also, the lady in the sauna doesn't speak, but she understands Japanese.
Of course, the people at the hotel front desk can speak Japanese.
It's a good hotel.
GGuest UserThe young lady at the front desk of the hotel is super good, and the booking on Ctrip is also very fast. We searched for several hotels, but they were all booked and refunded, and the online and offline were inconsistent. This one was booked online, and an email was sent immediately, very much. There is a convenience store around, and you can store your luggage in advance. It's very good. There is a big cockroach in the room, and the trembling slippers are killed. I still hope that the cleaning can be done. thanks
