The stay at Alila Shanghai was fantastic. The hotel impresses with its modern design, spacious and very comfortable rooms, and great location. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, and I would especially like to highlight Joy Epler Aragon – Alila Host, who was exceptionally helpful, kind, and made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for high standards and a warm atmosphere.

Had a phenomenal 4 night stay at ALILA Shanghai.
Joy Aragon made our stay highly memorable due to her impeccable service and response time to all our questions over WeChat. All the other staff were extremely polite as well.
Breakfast was superb. Massage was mediocre.
Despite the hiccup towards our check-out time where the room door access broke down (which was rectified by the duty manager within 30 mins) - I can confidently say that I will be staying here whenever I am in Shanghai now.

🔥 After getting a free room upgrade last time, I booked this Open Urban View Twin Room for my biz trip – total win! Floor-to-ceiling windows with epic city views made late-night emails feel fancy.
🍰 Afternoon Tea MVP:
Fruit mountain: lychee, Asian pears, flat peaches, cherries, blackcurrants, strawberries – all super fresh!
Shanghai-style palmiers (crispier than the bakery down the street!)
Mini cakes that looked like museum pieces (tasted even better!)

Assigned Joy as the guest support and she was great and prompt in all the responses, accommodating to my requests. Staff are all very friendly and helpful as well.
Went for the complimentary meditation session - very interesting.
Don’t have robots to deliver food due to food safety, but can drop off at the lockers (suggest to tag the office building infront as riders find it hard to locate the building). For parcels, no issues in sending to the room.
Room was great but just slight note - shower room door is not sealed totally at the sides, and shower head naturally slant towards the side of the wall, which is quite a design flaw.

Well curated and cohesive interior design. Detail oriented and hospitable staff. Excellent amenities and facilities for its location. Everything was in good working order. Special mention to Cameron who managed our stay experience, assisted us with difficult reservations and provided useful recommendations during our stay. Highly recommend Alila Shanghai

Very pleasant hotel. New, clean and contemporary. But level 5 lounge was always occupied and no space to sit and relax. Serving of breakfast also super slow.
