Excellent luxury hotel in a great area and location. It’s a fully complete hotel with everything you need. Top notch service. Room has all the amenities that you need. A truly 5-star hotel.

Went to the langham to celebrate my wife’s birthday at the executive lounge and it was amazing! They decorated the room and it caught my wife with a surprise. A big shoutout to all the staff, especially Shirley and James for making our time wonderful.

Last year my brother stayed at the Langham and had a great experience. He then brought my entire family of eight guests to stay this year for five nights in Shanghai. To say we were disappointed and embarassed by the experience would be an understatement. The check in process was appallingly bad particularly when my brother was placed in a room that was falling apart. My irritation only increased when he received “an upgrade” only to be downgraded to a smaller room than what was originally booked. The solution to these problems were fruit plates which doesn’t even come close to fixing the issues of a hotel that is in desperate need of renovation, both physically and within the entire management team. My family trip this year started in Beijing at the China World Summit and then at the West Lake Liuyingli in Hangzhou. There is no comparison from their hotels as far as costumer service and guest experience. Because of our multi night at those hotels, they gave us quality rooms with amazing care. The Langham pales in comparison to those hotel and I cannot believe the entire family trip has to end at this hotel.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at The Langham, Shanghai, Xintiandi in May. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless and up to the high standards you’d expect from a Langham property. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the Xintiandi district, with great access to shopping, dining, and cultural spots. A special highlight of my stay was the complimentary birthday arrangement thoughtfully prepared by the Guest Relations team for my twin daughters. It was a lovely surprise and truly added a personal touch to the experience. Their attention to detail and warm service made the celebration extra memorable. Highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers looking for luxury, comfort, and attentive service in Shanghai

Quite a pricey hotel but it is extremely worth it. Service is top notch. Only complaint is that there is no food delivery robot like what some other places have.

The staff are very friendly, greet me every time coming in and out. It was a small episode that my room wasn’t ready after check in time, but they were very helpful and attentive to solve the problem and sent a fruit plate. Overall it is a great experience staying in the hotel. Great location and attentive staff.
