Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Tangzhen

This Holiday Inn Express was a fantastic choice during our China trip. Conveniently located near a metro/Subway station and several major shopping malls, it made getting around and exploring the city incredibly easy. The rooms were spotless, well-equipped, and—true to the brand’s reputation—featured wonderfully comfortable bedding and pillows. We arrived in the early hours due to a significant flight delay, right in the middle of scheduled maintenance work at the hotel. While it could have been a stressful situation, the staff handled it with impressive professionalism and care. They went out of their way to minimize any inconvenience and made sure we could settle in and relax quickly. It was a textbook example of how great hospitality can turn a challenge into a positive experience. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, who spoke excellent English and was incredibly helpful. He offered valuable local tips and guidance that made our stay even smoother. Overall, this hotel delivered both comfort and value for money - exactly what you hope for when travelling. Highly recommended.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly and provided us with refreshments upon arrival and departure. The beds are very comfortable and the soaps provided in the bathroom smelled wonderful. My sister and I also really liked their hair dryer. It's a very close car ride to and from Disneyland, and they conveniently provide shuttle services in the morning too.

The breakfast was great and the location is ideal .
