Room: We booked a two-bedroom, one-living room room on the third floor, all with floor-to-ceiling windows. On sunny nights, you can see a lot of stars when you turn off the lights! Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is very spacious. The hot water pressure is sufficient and the temperature can be adjusted. The bedroom is not crowded, and the balcony is also large. There is an outdoor garden on the first floor with a swing, and a barbecue on the second floor terrace. Decoration: The owner decorated it very carefully. The bathroom is all American standard. The hair dryer and the projector in the master bedroom are Xiaomi. The speakers at the reception on the first floor are Marshall. American coffee is ten dollars a cup (recommended). The coffee powder is actually illy, which is rare in ordinary B&Bs. Service: The air conditioner will be turned on in advance, there are stoves for making tea/barbecue supplies for sale, the housekeeper grows shepherd's purse in the small yard at the door for selling wontons (recommended), the three-story house is cleaned daily, reception, dining, and most of the time only one person is in charge, she is really capable👍 Breakfast: I was so busy eating that I forgot to take pictures. Other comments should have pictures, meat and vegetables are matched, nutrition is balanced, and the dishes are beautiful😍 Parking: There are two rows of parking spaces at the door for free parking; The garden and living room are very large, the balcony windows are triangular, and the facade is very beautiful. Nice gateway far from Shanghai’s city life. Warm service, calm environment and clean bedroom and bathroom. There are no shops and restaurants nearby, but you can have diner there directly, the ayis cooking is pretty good! I recommend their garlic eggplant dish, they make it to chongming’s flavor! Their breakfast is pretty filling, I recommend to try their local specialty, chongming cake, it’s sweet and yummy!

The staff are very friendly and tried to support us as much as possible. I visited with my husband and 11 month old baby. Nice grounds with pond and garden area. The games room was used everyday however you need to pay to use the KTV / multimedia room. Room lights, curtains, and air conditioning all controlled via an app on WeChat. The room was also cold in October and I couldn’t control the air conditioning with the app. Reception was helpful to do this but could only set to one temperature. Unfortunately it then became too hot for my baby and was hard to control on the app. The neighbouring room’s front door was too squeaky, waking up my son during sleep. The room was very dusty, visibly on the chandelier and curtains and most importantly it affected our sinus. My husband couldn’t stop sneezing, had a runny nose, and ended up with a nosebleed! This was unusual for him so I’d absolutely recommend a deep clean. There was no air filter available to help. We were kindly provided with a great baby bed/cot however the hotel does not provide linen. We used 2 pillow cases and a towel underneath instead. The swimming pool is seasonal which we didn’t know before coming so we didn’t unpack our swimming gear. Breakfast is good if you like Chinese style cuisine. The staff were very attentive to our needs and requests. There is 1 baby high chair. Get a double room instead of king, double is bigger and you get a table with chairs. We easily slid the beds together to make room for the baby bed/cot. King room only has 1 chair and less space in the room and bathroom. Our baby enjoyed the extra space for movement. No walk-in dinner service was available at the restaurant, it seemed complicated to request meals ahead of time so we went elsewhere. Top tips: get the reception WeChat and if you can afford it rent a car.

In addition, the private bathroom room, the basin is on the washing machine, it is really wide and high, the children are definitely not friendly, the vision is not good, need to look in the mirror makeup is not friendly. The owner sent fireworks, breakfast with vegetables, eggs, buns, etc.

Shanshui is a great homestay. Come to Chongming to relax. Trip.com I saw this homestay at a glance. It really didn’t disappoint. It even exceeded my expectations. There are small animals I like. Big golden apples, kittens, big rabbits, the homestay is very clean and tidy, and the transportation is convenient. Quiet, Shopping and play are very close, the farmhouse dishes recommended by the boss are affordable and delicious, did not go to the homestay, the route of the attractions is very detailed, let me lazy people like me benefit a lot, the boss is warm and thoughtful and talkative, let me have a deep understanding of Chongming's customs, history and humanities, It’s also very comfortable to lie down for a day when you come here.
