Hotels Near Undersea World Pavilion in Shanghai

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heyitang Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Shanghai Disneyland. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to Disneyland, Haichang Ocean Park, Wild Animal Park, Astronomy Museum, and Pudong Airport. Additionally metro station is just a few minutes walking distance from the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with special thanks to Zach who recommended us places to eat and help us order things from a nearby store. The hotel also offers free laundry service but do note that the hotel is located quite far from the city center.

Very beautifulll and so nice hotellll everything is nice . Mrs li liping so helpful and kind anddd very nice . All tne room is very clean. Free parking is available in the hotel and free shuttle bus is available to the airport and from the airport the staff is very helpful

The service here is very very good. I reccomend. And the location is easy, you walk in the front and can find all shops and restaurants. I would like to thanks a million to the staffs for helping me on everything during my stay 6 days in Shanghai.

We have a wonderful stay. The staff here are very accommodative and very helpful. It's very near to Disneyland. The use of the washer and dryer is free and convenient. We came during mid of December, the temperature is around 5°c, the room temperature can be easily adjusted with a remote. There are bicycles available, and they are free. We recommend staying here.

Perfect location to stay if you need a stop over to catch late or early fligjts from Pudong Airport. They provide airport transfer too. Big rooms!

I selected the Vienna International Hotel for my trip to Disneyland Shanghai based on its price, location, and available services, and I believe it was a great choice. This hotel is about a 10 to 12 minute ride from Pudong Airport and only 20 minutes from Disneyland.  The hotel offers reasonable rates and provides guests with a free shuttle service to both the airport and Disneyland. I used WeChat to receive notifications about the pickup times for the morning shuttle to Disneyland as well as the return shuttle from Disneyland at night.  In the morning, I took the free shuttle to Disneyland and stayed until the park closed, then used the shuttle to return to the hotel. I also utilized the complimentary airport shuttle when I checked out.  There are several local restaurants across the street that are just a short walk away. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced hotel with convenient airport and Disneyland Shanghai shuttles, I highly recommend the Vienna International Hotel.

Summarize in short : they should keep this place only for Chinese speaker, not recommend for traveller with other languages. Base from my true experiences, I booked here the night before traveling to Shanghai. Once I check out from hotel in Guangzhou, front desk lady help me called reception at Shanghai Novotel Hotel Chuansha to ask if they can pick me and my partner at Pudong Airport as they advertised for a complimentary shuttle bus. The lady at Novotel cannot speak English so I passed to the front desk lady in Guangzhou and got to know that I have to book a shuttle bus a day ahead. I accepted this because I read info, just have hope if they could help customer with this, anyway I flew to Shanghai and went hotel by myself. On the way to Shanghai, I still have hope that receptionist at NOVOTEL will be able to speak English. When I arrived there, I met 3 receptionists and NONE OF THEM CAN SPEAK ENGLISH. We had a tough time to communicate. I have my own language and English, also broken Chinese but we still not understand each other. I had to call a friend of mine in Taiwan to speak Chinese to them. Again, I wanted to book a shuttle bus to Disney land for the next day and they ask me to have a Wechat app to see a detail and communicate. Since I do not have China mainland mobile number so I cannot make a Wechat work on my phone. My ********* friend still help me out with this. At that time, another lady came, seem like she work for shuttle bus thing. I do understand that Chinese tone of voice always loud but I cannot see mercy on her face. She consisted that we still need a Wechat. One lady there said, I have to take a taxi without Wechat even though the hotel provided us a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. At this point I a little upset as there is no choice that they can call or set me a time for my travel, _ucking asked me to take a taxi. I do not mind to pay for taxi but we have never been here so we worry about other unexpected factor could happen. Further more, I went there on my girlfriend birthday to celebrate her birthday. I decided to take it here a last minute and I asked if they could have a card written Happy Birthday to her. Only I know is ”NO CARD, NO CARD!!!! bad service mind ever, disappointed and felt give up with Novotel Yes, I picked NOVOTEL because I really hope they provided international services. I was a member of ACCOR PLUS and experienced such good services but since I experienced here, I am a failure. I actually have 2 more nights in Shanghai after 2nights here. I was thinking to move out all the time because me and my partner felt suffocate with a service. I do not talk to them anymore as it is useless T___T I even tried with my broken Chinese but I cannot feel that they put an effort to serve their guesses. No bellboy, air-conditioning at public area is pretty warm. To be honest, the place is good, bed is comfy and we tired from playing things in Disney land park so I extended to book for one more night then I do not need to rush for checking out. I went reception floor, this time a girl with glasses, seem kind and she is fluent in English help me check in for my last night here :) Whole time staying here I kept my mouse shut because don't want to feel unpleasant anymore and I feel like the robot that delivery food downstairs is working better than human lol. Eventually, I did tried until I can log into Wechat to found that the text were written in Chinese only. I still can travel with a hotel shuttle bus even I do not read thing on Wechat (我看不懂) 😔 I definitely won't be back here even things are good. Hotel is providing everything we needed which is good but they should hire people who able to speak English or people who able to use translate on google and else to communicate as they open for the whole world guess. Not only Chinese on earth but also another language exists. Last thing, key of hospitality is ”SERVICE MIND”

I’ve been in over 30 countries and stayed at over 100 hotels between them and this was without a doubt the very best. They went above and beyond by every measure. I wasn’t able to access the internet on my phone so they let Me use their computer to complete my airport booking. The sweet wonderful manager actually took me on her e-bike to the bank to get some more currency exchange. Lovely staff all around, especially her. Breakfast was great, room was clean and it’s only a quick taxi ride to the metro that can get you anywhere in the city. Shanghai was the last stop on my trip in China and because of their hospitality and kindness I’d say it was the best stop. Beautiful city to visit and a great place to stay while you are there. Highly recommend. Also the shuttle to Disneyland and the airport was very convenient. Everything is top notch at this place. Do yourself a favor and stay here when you visit Shanghai.

Hi we are a family of 4 from Malaysia, the stay over at this hotel is very comfortable I like the bed and the pillow, They gave us 6 STAR warm welcome and service, the breakfast was delicious with western(bread/tart,simple salad)and mainly Chinese dishes, we love to stay in this hotel, free shuttle bus to Disneyland and return too at 920pm, we missed it at 740am, as my daughter oversleep🤣but the fare to Disneyland is not expensive this we just DIDI taxi there. We love the laundry service by an auntie I still remember her face, all clothes were cleaned and placed at the room door step in the noon if we ask for the laundry in the morning and it is FREE. The front desk staff are all helpful and always greet with big smile no matter how late we reached hotel, even trainees did the great job, we had 5days 4 nights stay over this hotel, at first my son blamed that it is far from centre , (40minutes ride to 外滩）after that he loved to stay as surrounded by shopping streets (night market, Wanda shopping mall,360 shopping mall ) which are well enough for us,because it is not crowded. We even played badminton in Shanghai near 360mall,the trip is free and easy and we found That hotel is the right choices, as it is not tourist oriented.Thus price is localised ,cheaper price and cheaper food.we been to 外滩，too crowded thus we are lucky to choose abit distance from city centre. Anyhow train stations are just 600 meters away from the hotel, convenience, just the ride to centre is 40minutes. We even ordered from Taobao and the front desk helped us kept the parcel, they are really helpful! Free flow of bottled water, warm welcome drink every night, fruit /snack in the afternoon. After 5 days 4 nights in Shanghai then we travel to Hangzhou, and we checked into hotel right in hangzhou city centre, to be honest, my kids told me: mum we better stay back to Maixinge hotel in Shanghai, such a good memory and compliment🤐 kids towards maixinge hotel到了杭州的酒店，体验两家酒店，没比较就没伤害，我的孩子还是喜欢maixinge 酒店! Hotel comes with breakfast and given my kids free breakfast, it comes with small.play ground,my girl and son play over the playground and it is clean. There is an army school.behind the hotel but we got a quiet room,you may request. We had given some comments to hotel.especially the toilet and shower room need 'privacy'....1 shower and if 1 needs to loo then have to wait as it is see through between the toilet and shower room It might be dangerous on some parts of sharp tiles that need a protection bar in case it will hurt kids I believe they will improve. It would.be great.if family room.come with 2 units of 1.5meter bed. Tqvm and it is a wonderful stay over this hotel

To find the reception is bit tricky. You need to use lifts with really dirty carpets with Intercity logo. Check in process was ok and then next lift to the rooms with the same very dirty carpets (I am asking myself, why designers are using carpets in the areas where it is difficult to maintain them). Although I got non-smoking room there was smell of cigarettes in the room. Room was changed by reception team pretty quick and next room was not so smelly. I have used as well washing machine , drying and ironing which was ok (note one machine is manageable only by app, so in case you do not speak Chinese, you will be lost as me.
