"A stay at Erche (the housekeeper) in Lugu Lake is a must! Zaxi and Azuo were incredibly attentive and professional, making the entire experience fantastic. Getting around was a breeze: The hotel is centrally located in Daluoshui, close to the bus station and pier, and shared taxis drop you right at the entrance. The design is stunning, blending wabi-sabi aesthetics with Mosuo elements. The natural wood textures combined with smart room controls make every corner photogenic and comfortable. And the lake view... simply breathtaking! Our room offered unobstructed, front-row views of the lake with 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows. We enjoyed the morning mist and evening sunsets, truly having the entire lake and mountains to ourselves. Flawless! We'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit!"

"I stayed in the parent-child room with my grandma!!! I booked blindly after reading the comments! The joy of opening the blind box is that it is so worth it! "This guesthouse is the absolute best, no question! They have every single disposable amenity you could ask for. After staying in places from Kunming to Dali, this one was by far the most comfortable! It's the first time I've ever seen Shuke toothpaste provided, and it's their 'plus' version! The toothbrush was incredibly soft too! Even the tea bags were branded! Plus, they offer pick-up and drop-off service, and sweet dessert soup in the evenings! What really blew me away was the breakfast! I expected a standard, uninspired buffet like other hotels, but it was amazing! Beautifully plated and a perfectly balanced meal! Oh, I'm so sad I was too busy eating to take photos! When we checked out, the front desk lady even gave us traditional brown sugar as a gift! The clear sky over Lugu Lake was absolutely stunning too! Oh, and the service at Junxiang Xiaoyuan Stone Pot Fish was fantastic, absolutely on par with Haidilao! The staff were so entertaining! Lugu Lake is wonderful! I'll definitely be back!"

"The room was spacious and bright, clean and tidy, with a great design – perfect for photos! It's located in a relatively quiet bay of Lugu Lake, right on the waterfront with no roads obstructing the view. The large floor-to-ceiling windows framed the lake and mountains like a giant oil painting, and the reeds outside were absolutely stunning. The guesthouse staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the afternoon tea was delicious. The live singer from Shui Tian Yi She was a wonderful surprise – it wasn't a noisy bar, but more like a lakeside starlight concert!"

"My friend had just left Lugu Lake when I brought my wife to visit. I went straight with my friend's recommendation and stayed at this hotel. The lake view room wasn't expensive during the off-season, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to afford it in peak season. The environment is really nice. The hotel's front entrance faces the street, and the back entrance leads directly to the pier boardwalk. It's so comfortable to sunbathe there. The hotel service is also quite good. Breakfast is served until 10 am, and there's a butler service as well. They gave great recommendations for food and activities. We rented a car and circled Lugu Lake twice in two days. We were lucky to have good weather. It was more fun than Dali."

The cleanliness was top-notch; watching them clean made my 'germaphobe' heart sing! The bedding was soft and clean, and even the corners were spotless. The facilities are new and smart, with whole-house voice control. The elevator is convenient. There's a public book bar built by the lake, and our 180-degree lake view room offered stunning views of Mount Gemu and the blue lake the moment we opened our eyes. The rooftop observation deck is perfect for taking amazing photos. Breakfast was a set meal. My only minor complaint was that the bathroom was a bit dim, making it difficult to do makeup. The staff member said they'd look into improving it, so I'm looking forward to that!"

"The B&B has a fantastic location; you can park right at the entrance, and it's super close to the lakeside promenade. The owner is really nice and welcoming. They upgraded our room for free and even helped us with our luggage and took us to our car – their hospitality was almost embarrassingly good, haha! The room layout was beautiful too. Waking up to the sight of the clear blue Lugu Lake right outside our window, and sitting by the window with my partner enjoying the view, was just so peaceful. I absolutely loved this room, and I definitely want to stay longer next time!"
