Hotels Near Green Tahoe Market in South Lake Tahoe

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the decoration is quite new, but there is no peculiar smell; although it is not very big, it can be opened completely. When we went there, it was cooling down, but the air conditioner was very warm, so it felt very warm, but the noise was still a bit loud, so I turned it off before going to bed and added a layer of quilt. The bathroom is also very clean, the space is also large, the hot water is very hot, and the bath is very relieved! Parking is also free. The hotel is in the South Lake Tahoe area, you can walk to the lake across the street, and you can see the starry sky at night. In short, it exceeded expectations!

It's close to the lake and relatively quiet. The refrigerator is a bit noisy at night, so I got up and unplugged it 😎

Have now stayed there two different occasions - both time was the 1st guest in the rooms I was in. Nice amenities, well-decorated, and clean facility. (some guests were not careful in the public areas, but staff quickly cleaned up spills/garbage) Price in reasonable given the days I stayed (weekends always more costly, as are days when there are special events in town) - I checked with the ****** I usually stay at and their pricing was more! I erred in not putting both says of my most recent stay on one reservation, but called and Chris at the desk made sure to merge both so I didn't have to move from one room to another mid-stay. Then when the TV wouldn't work, the night staff sent someone who thought they might be able to fix it, up, but they couldn't. Very apologetic. The next morning the manager sent maintenance, they couldn't fix it, so manager accompanied maint. and still they couldn't get it to work. Manager offered to move me to a new room then. I declined, since I could still watch Netflix and YouTube. Then 10 minutes later, manager returned with another maint. person, and they tried a couple more things, eventually pulling back cabinet where TV connections to building were, and manager found and fixed a faulty connector! Then when checking out, etc, came upon some dogs locked up in a black SUV with no windows cracked and 72 and partially sunny out. Chris at desk went thru every check-in slip to find he described vehicle, and called that person to come take care of their dogs. (Chris, and I, were surprised since the hotel is dog-friendly and the dog would've been fine inside) All the staff in addition to those mentioned were the most helpful, accommodating, customer-centric people!

Very charming two-story motel-style lodging along the same street as many other motels. Safe and convenient - only 12-15 min walk to Heavenly gondola and shops. Can’t tell if it’s because we stayed over July 4th long weekend or if the decorations are always there because the place is called “The Americana”, but there were lots of beautiful America flag decor and flowers all around the property, which gave it a very cozy, homey, welcoming feel compared to the other motels along the same street. Lots of lawn chairs and BBQ grills on the lawns in front of the units. There were lots of people lounging on the lounge chairs at night when it got cooler. The swimming pool with small hot tub and sauna are by the front desk. There’s also free popcorn and filtered water machine at front desk and in the breakfast area, accessible during their hours of operation. Parking is limited to 1 car per unit, and it’s right in front of each unit. It can seem crowded but I was always able to find a spot any time of the day because of this limit. The activity area (just outside the small breakfast area on the opposite side of the property of the front desk) has lots of fun outdoor games (plastic axe throwing, corn hole, horseshoe toss, tetherball, ping pong, etc.). Board games and other games can be borrowed from the breakfast area. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast daily from 7am-9am: assorted Safeway donuts, bread (+jam, butter, cream cheese), hard boiled eggs, Quaker oatmeal (assorted flavors), fruit (oranges and bananas), drinks (coffee, tea, water, juices). To keep things clean/sanitary, you tell the staff what you want and the staff will serve you. The indoor breakfast area is quite small but the outdoor seating areas are spacious. Room: also very charming, cozy, and well appointed for a motel-style property, but unfortunately we went during a weekend when it was over 90F in Tahoe and the rooms did not have AC, so we were a bit miserable in the heat. The rooms all have plenty of fans (at least in ”Building 3” where I was at) — ceiling fan in the living room area, portable remote-controlled standing fan in the bedroom/dining area, and portable box fan in the closet that we saw a lot of other guests put against their window (which they can open all the way) to force the cooler night air in. The door to each unit can also be propped open, and each unit comes with a mosquito screen/net in one of the drawers that you can unroll and hang on your door jamb if you want to keep the door open but not let the bugs in. For the room type I booked, the living room has a couch that can be turned into an inflatable bed (ie. sofabed). Instructions are in the binder that’s on the coffee table in the room. There’s an accordion-style curtain divider that can be used to separate the living room area and the bedroom/dining/bathroom area. The accordion curtain divider is semi-blackout (light filtering) to block out a good amount of the light from the windows

My wife and I visited The Landing in August for our anniversary! The landing had such great employees that were ready to serve you. The food was great! The rooms were clean and spotless! Housekeeping were attentive with every little thing. You can tell how much pride they have making sure the rooms were kept up with and how much they paid attention to cleanliness. We will definitely come again, without hesitation. Thank you.

A great location at a reasonable price. Our room, a queen bed on the ground floor, was comfortable. The bed was soft, the towels were fluffy, there was excellent lighting in both the bedroom and the bathroom. Both shower and toilet had good water pressure. The air conditioner was efficient and quiet. Hot breakfasts weren't available yet per COVID. The hotel has laundry facilities as well as an ice machine and soda machine. There is free parking but when the hotel is crowded, space is limited. It's a short walk to the beach and a nominal fee of $5 and a short walk to the ******s if that's your thing.

This hotel is the most cost-effective one since coming to the United States so many times! For skiing friends, this hotel is the best choice. The location is right next to the Heavenly Ski Resort, about 2 minutes' walk. The hotel has a parking service, free of charge, and of course free tip. The price of more than 200 RMB per night is super value, and there is no one and only one! The room is large, at least it can accommodate 4 people, the room is a big bed, the living room is a sofa bed, there is a spa bath between the room and the living room that can accommodate three or four people, the room is clean, the microwave and refrigerator are complete, the lobby front desk also helps me Print documents for free, friendly staff, and take the initiative to introduce how to rent skis. Just spent a week at this resort. We had a one bedroom unit. The location is fantastic...right in the middle of the Heavenly Resort area....two blocks to the casino and a few blocks to the lake (albeit a $25.00 per person charge). This was a great base for hiking (must go to Emerald Bay!) and all other activities. The music and bands at night in Heavenly Village were great. Just walk right out your door and you are in the middle of everything. The whole area is very crowded on the weekends. The only problem is parking....you must Valet Park for $32 a day (however, if you trade in or are an owner, the fee is waived). Just walk through Heavenly Village to get to Ralley's Supermarket. There you find everything you need for food, drinks, etc. The workers at the resort were really very nice. I honestly can't think of a thing that was negative.

My wife and I went during the week, when the hotel is not very busy. For the price, our room was comfortable and spacious. Our bed was very comfortable and enabled us to sleep well. The hotel was quiet; the crowd was older and did not disturb us at all. The maid did an excellent job of providing a clean environment in room 250. Everything was in good working order. Hot water arrived immediately in the shower. Valet service is available to move luggage, but one may need to ask for assistance at the front desk. We used the jacuzzi and swimming pool. The two jacuzzi are kept at different temperatures to optimize guest comfort. One is 101 and the other is 104 degrees. The water features are indoors, so they can be used any day of the year. Parking ias ample and close in. Covered parking is limited. The hotel has two restaurants. One is a cafe and the other is fine dining. Reservations are recommended for fine dining. The hotel also has a coffee bar that sells donuts and snacks. Traveler Alert: if you are driving from California on a week day, U.S. 50 has no open restrooms between Fresh Pond and South Lake Tahoe. Expect delays from one lane traffic control and flag men. No restaurants or gas stations were open beyond Fresh Pond. Long stretches had reduced speed limits posted. On State Route 88, we had the same problem between Minden and Pine Grove. The 76 Union Station east of Pine Grove would not allow us to use their restroom either, so we will do no business there in the future. Interstate 80 is recommended as a reliable alternative.
