Very reasonably priced single room that was well appointed with all the right things. Reception was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming but included in the very reasonable price. Solid value for money.

What a lovely hotel, the whole experience was fabulous. The bed was so comfy and snuggly we asked for the company name to buy some of the high quality bedding. Breakfast was so tasty and hot, thank you

The George is in the main street of the town so easy to find. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. I slept well but my friend had a bad experience with a noisy guest in another bedroom who was very noisy from 4.30 a.m. until it was time to get up so she lost a lot of sleep. It is an old building with thin walls and people need to be considerate of others. To end on a positive note, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was lovely, particularly the scrambled egg!

Everything about this hotel was perfect. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into the room, the facilities, and that cleanliness.

I stayed for 2 nights as perfect location to catch up with daughters friend.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy.
Breakfast was included and was a great selection.
I am sure we will back next year.

We used this hotel for a base to explore north Devon,it was perfect in every way… breakfast delicious.. room beautiful & very clean..staff very helpful & polite

Great hotel have stayed many times without disappointment. Free parking belonging to hotel just need to register your car with reception. Breakfast is good with full English or continental offered. Rooms are spacious and very clean with comfortable beds.
