Great location near lots of cafes and restaurants as well as South Yarra Station. Stylish and comfortable but no gym.

Loved the cool retro vibe at Ovolo South Yarra! If you’re into pop art and something a bit different, this place nails it. The staff were friendly and check-in was easy. The room was clean, and well thought out—maybe on the smaller side, but still comfortable. Best of all is the location—right near Chapel Street with plenty to do just a short walk away. Perfect spot for exploring South Yarra with loads of personality.

Fantastically located on Toorak Road, so close to all the action of shops and cafes in South Yarra. Loved the music selection in the hotel and the decor, playing on vintage/retro vibes. The room was small, but functional (probably best for business / short-stay travellers), and the free laundry facilities on site were a big bonus. Will return for sure.

Excellent location! Could not beat it. So close to the train station and tram stops on either side of the street. Excellent room, all you need! Only down sides were the bed was too soft, both of us had sore backs each morning. The doona did not have a doona cover only a flat sheet on either side and there was no proper handle for inside the bathroom which was annoying.

Friendly staff -- very welcoming and accomodating. will be back again for sure!

hotel was new and the design details are modern and suited user needs, e.g. window blinds, comfy beds, laundry etc. Also impressed with generous free mini-bar which is replenished daily.

Very good. The Chinese front desk downstairs was very polite and enthusiastic. They also let me visit the underground floor. I was very satisfied.

The check-in room was very small, the bed was facing the window and the door, I tried to lock the door at night, but it didn't work. The handheld shower in the bathroom and the fixed shower on the top could not be switched. The alarm in the room suddenly sounded sharply at around 10 o'clock in the evening, and it sounded again half an hour later. I had to go downstairs to inform the front desk. The front desk lobby on the first floor is connected to the bar. I will never stay in this hotel next time!
