Best Zhangjiajie Spa Hotels

Perfect location, the Tianmen Mountain cableway is about 15 minutes away by foot. The Staff at the desk speak English and and are very helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel is really good too. I would 100% stay here again. You just can’t complain. They add you on WeChat when you arrive at the hotel so you can communicate with them whenever you need to.

5* - Doubtless the best accommodation in Zhangjiajie This turned out to be the best possible accommodation option for visiting the tourist sites around Zhangjiajie (itself one of the finest tourist destinations in China). It is extremely comfortable and well-kept. The rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious in a modern design, with a lot of warm, light-coloured, solid wood. In cold weather, the heating (including floor-heating) works very well and so, after a long day's tourism (potentially among the crowds), the Zishan resort is a sanctuary of peace for you to return to. It is in a quiet mountain environment with beautiful scenery. Lulu, who speaks very good English, looked after every possible detail of the stay - it was effortless for the guest. She organized cars (to and from the airport, to and from the tourist sites), as well as entrance tickets to the various attractions. Without her, life would have been much more complicated. All of the staff were most friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble for them. A word regarding location: no hotel in the region can offer proximity to all of the tourist sites (National Park, Grand Canyon, Tianmen Mountain), because they are all some distance from each other. Therefore, wherever you stay, you will need to take some cars; but that is no problem, as they are readily available. However, Zishan resort also offers the advantage of being literally 10 minutes' walk from the south-east gate of the National Park, used by far fewer tourists than the main gate. Therefore, even if the resort is some distance from the city, this is a major advantage, coupled with the beautifully peaceful setting. Zishan resort also has a good restaurant which is open for most of the day. This tastefully created hotel made for a truly memorable stay (though I can imagine that it may not be easy to obtain a room during the main tourist season!).

The hotel is close to the east gate of Wulingyuan and historic interest area. It’s very convenient to start your trip from here. It’s a 10min walk from the bus station that takes you to the Grand Canyon and zhangjiajie. The streets with the shops are 1-2km walking. They have many choices for breakfast. Different vegetables, noodles, bread, eggs, fruit etc. Even cornflakes and toast if you only like western food. They change it a bit everyday which is nice. The room was good and they cleaned it every day. Only underneath the bed it was dusty. The room had automatically opening curtains and airco. I would recommend this hotel. The staff does not speak English so if you don’t speak a little Chinese it might be a little inconvenient.

The hotel is simply amazing The owner of the hotel is a very friendly woman, always trying to understand us and help Rooms with a balcony are on the first floor, from ours you could go out to the patio right away. The room included welcome fruits and it was a delicious watermelon The breakfast was hearty, we agreed on dumplings, eggs and vegetables, because there were a lot of us. Everything was very tasty. And most importantly, the bed, mattress, blanket and pillow are simply amazing, during our entire long trip, I have not slept better anywhere. The hotel is convenient for those who want to go to the Avatar Mountains right from the very morning, by the way, try to do this in the morning without crowds of tourists. But if you want to feel like you are on a retreat, you should also stay here. We are super happy that we chose this hotel. P.s. The first photo is from the neighboring room of our friends.

Our stay at Home2 has been great! Nicole at the reception was lovely! The original room we booked was facing the train tracks so it was a bit noisy. I told Nicole and she responded very quickly and changed our room so I can have a good sleep! Thank you! The room we changed to is a small suite with plenty of storage and a big bathroom. We had some issues finding cutlery but a call to the reception quickly got what we needed. The breakfast selection was a bit limited but you got everything from cold salad to hot noodles. We feel the stay could have been improved if there is concierge service to help with luggages at door or opening taxi doors when entering the lobby.

I was able to enjoy the tour of Wulingyuan very well because they kept my bags before and after check-in. The location is very close to Dongmun, and there is a night market right in front, so I can taste various foods. It feels like I'm on a trip. The room is clean and cozy. It's exactly like the picture, and the building's exterior is different from the surrounding buildings. The interior of the room is also very delicately designed. I feel good. The interior, the small but easy-to-enter bathroom door, and even the small selection of bathroom tiles give a sense of unity and class. The breakfast is simple but sufficient and very delicious. I highly recommend it and will come back again when I come back.

The decoration is high-grade, the bed is very comfortable, the quilt is snow-white and clean, and the impression is very good. The air conditioning temperature was just right, unlike some hotels where the temperature is too cold and cannot be adjusted. I will stay here again next time. The food on the first floor is exquisite and tastes good, especially the stir-fried pork intestines, which are very good. I recommend that guests staying in the hotel try them. I hope the hotel can develop more dishes. In short, very satisfied. By the way, this place is not far from Zhangjiajie West Station, so it is convenient to take the high-speed rail.

Front desk folks willing to help out and location is just about a 10-15 minute walk to the main gate of Wulingyuan—where famous Avatar mountains are. Room clean and comfortable. I slept well on the bed, but it is a bit hard. New sink, new shower and toilet. Construction begins loudly around 7am in small river across the street. That’s temporary and not hotel’s fault. Washing machine and ample space for drying clothing on top floor patio space. Only complaint is hotel storing junk in stairwell—various chairs, old toilets, old doors. Looks disorganized and strange as I walked up and down the stairs.

Brand new hotel that just built this year. They have very focus on their service. They have a virtual butler that messages you before to make sure you get everything you need set up. I asked for an early check in and they made sure that happened. I got checked in at 12 PM even though the check-in is at 2 PM. The room is really nice and big, they brought fruits as a nice refresh in midday and Joannna the Thu Lady mixture everything was booked and set up for us and explain everything in detail for all the places we wanted to see. I love that they have the option for us to do hourly pay if we want to stay later on our last day we were coming back around 6 PM before we head out to the airport so we decide to use that option. wanted to shower and get our self organized before heading to the airport.  they stated that they have a washer and dryer when my husband went down to get her clothes to wash, there’s a lady that just takes your clothes washer for you fold it all nicely and it’s all at no extra charge. The pool is really nice and I love their little robot that deliver things. I love everything about this hotel. We would definitely stay again.

The day before we arrived, Xiao Tang helped us find a business car to pick us up at the station (the price was reasonable). In addition, on the day of departure, we visited the scenic spot again and stored our luggage at the hotel. Xiao Tang helped us find a business car driver to pick up our luggage and then take us to the city. The itinerary is perfect 😍
