The hotel location is excellent if you are visiting Tianmen mountain. It is only a few minutes walking distance away. Lots of restaurants and a Macdonald nearby. There is free pickup and send service. The staff is very patient in explaining the scenic spot at trekking route at Tianmen mountain. The room is not full sound proof. We can also smell cigarette from guests smoking nearby.

I came as a family of 2, and the hotel managed to meet and exceed all of our needs. For the price paid, the amenities and the service staff managed to meet and exceed all of my family’s needs. The place is cozy and has a great view from the rooftop. Navigating the national park of Zhangjiajie was challenging, especially when some of the internal shuttle bus routes were blocked due to the heavy rain in the previous week. Not only did the inn’s service staff help to book the tickets to the park and schedule the time of entry, they constantly provided daily recommendations of the viewing attractions based on the weather and availability of the shuttle bus. I managed to tick off everything I wanted to see on the trip to Zhangjiajie national park thanks to their help! They also help to recommend local restaurants, and other attractions such as the Glass Bridge, yellow dragon cave, and baofeng lake. The location is ideal as it’s close to the east gate of the Zhangjiajie National park, which is one of the more crowded entry gates. If you would like to avoid big crowds by entering the park early, I would highly recommend this place!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Rooftop Hotel with Breathtaking Views! Staying at this rooftop hotel was an unforgettable experience! The stunning views of Tianman Mountain from my room were absolutely mesmerizing—waking up to such beauty in morning was a dream. Plus, watching planes take off and land at the nearby airport added a unique charm. The room was spacious, clean, and perfectly positioned to maximize the panoramic scenery. Whether sipping coffee at sunrise or relaxing at sunset, the vista never disappointed. The mattress was absolutely a bit hard for my liking, but overall, 99% loved the room. The combination of mountain serenity and airport energy made this stay truly special. I love the street food, and everything was written within walking distance. And unforgettable experience Wish I had more time to stay but I have to return to Canada, Unfortunatel.y😊 Highly recommend for anyone seeking a hotel with unbeatable views and a memorable experience!

We enjoyed our 5-night stay at this well-located hotel in Wulingyuan. It served as an ideal base for exploring both Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk to the park entrance and surrounded by plenty of great local dining options. Being right on the scenic footpath along the stream added to the charm. The hotel manager was exceptionally helpful, offering valuable tips for our visit—and to our delight, spoke flawless English, which made everything even easier. We also appreciated the convenient self-service laundry area, which was well set up and very useful during our extended stay. We stayed in the top-floor room, which came with a large patio and a nice view. While it was enjoyable, if we return, we’d probably opt for a standard room with a balcony. The so-called “pool” isn’t really a pool, so paying extra for that amenity isn’t worth it. A few areas for improvement: the top-floor room would really benefit from a fridge and some comfortable seating—after a long day of hiking, a sofa would’ve been much appreciated. The extra space in the room felt a bit underutilized, just an empty area with a hard floor. That said, the bathroom was excellent—the shower had great pressure, generous space, and multiple spray settings. The bed and linens were comfortable, though we did find the pillows too large for our taste. Overall, a great stay and a hotel we’d recommend—especially for its unbeatable location and helpful staff.

I had an amazing stay at a hotel in Zhangjiajie. The location was perfect—just 200 meters from Cable Car Station A to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. It made getting to the scenic area incredibly convenient. My room was so big, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tianmen Mountain!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Yuxi Homestay! The hotel owner was so kind and helpful with planning our itinerary and booking tickets for Wulingyuan, Tianmen Mountain, Huanglong Cave, and the Glass Bridge. Our room was simultaneously cozy and spacious, with a beautiful view. Every morning we were treated to a delicious free breakfast. It’s a family business, and it really shows. They were all very kind and the little daughter running around was very cute too. If you speak Chinese, you’ll get to experience how fun they are. If you don’t, they’ll try their best anyway so try to meet them halfway. There’s a great restaurant right around the corner too, and the owner there is a good friend of the hotel owner. The restaurant name is Tu Jia Xiao Er, or 土家小二. I don’t think I’d want to stay anywhere else if/when I come back to Zhangjiajie!

It was a very relaxing stay in Banpoli. Room was nice and very spacious. Big and comortable bed. Stunning mountain views 🥰 The owner was very nice and easy to talk to despite the languge barrier. She packed us breakfast on-the-go when we had early morning tours. The last day we were able to take breakfast in the room which was so nice! ❤️

The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, often going out of their way to help with travel tips, tickets, or even home-cooked meals. Its location is ideal for exploring the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, just a short walk or drive away. While the inn isn’t luxurious, it’s clean, atmospheric, and offers great value—perfect for travellers looking for a peaceful base to enjoy the natural wonders of the area.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location is good, 5 minutes by taxi to the central bus station, from which you can easily get either to the Zhangjiajie national forest park or to Furong town ( from the railway station , it is located in the same place). From the city center ( which is around 20 minutes of walk) you can take a cable car to the Tianmenshan . Staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here.

My friends and I had an amazing experience at 嘉宁 hotel in Zhangjiajie. The room was very nice and clean and the people from the reception were extremely kind and helpful. They assisted us in booking tickets for places such as Tianmen mountain and Wulingyuan. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and would also like to stay there again next time! Oh and the view was also very nice! 😊🤙
