AAbz11It’s been a great stay at Jano Hotel. Big shout to Michael he has been super helpful since we arrived. I would highly recommend him to be a manager. He was very welcoming and always ready to help. He is just a genuine great human being, big shout out to the girls at the front desk too. They were great. now for the hotel. The hotel was very conveniently located next to the new stadium. It’s easy to get around. There’s a lot of construction going on, but it will be done by the time we come back hopefully.

GGuest UserThis service is absolutely terrible, truly awful. If you want to order room service and pay with cash, you have to go down to the front desk first to pay, and then the front desk notifies the restaurant. I tolerated that. But when I got to the front desk and explained why I was there, as I was about to pay, they asked me where the cash came from and demanded proof. I told them I got it from the bank earlier, but I'd already thrown away the receipt. Since I couldn't prove it, I couldn't order food. Seriously, I'm not paying to stay in a hotel, I'm paying for torture! What happened to the spirit of room service?
And then, when my friend went up to help me with my luggage, they demanded to hold onto my friend's passport at the front desk. I was furious and told them they had no right to detain my friend's passport. They righteously claimed it was for safety. I retorted that there are many ways to ensure safety, so why choose to seize a passport?
This stay was an incredibly bad experience. Their service doesn't even come close to hotels like Hyatt, Marriott, or Tulip. Some of the staff even seemed arrogant and stuck-up.
I will never stay here again.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful experience during our stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout. We were especially impressed by the team who served us breakfast and provided room service. The women, including Melat, were incredibly kind and friendly — starting our mornings with her bright smile truly made our stay even more enjoyable.

DDUB NATIONThe hotel facilities and environment are pretty good in Ethiopia. I stayed in a twin room with my colleagues from the company. It felt similar to the 200-yuan express hotel in China. Laundry was very cheap. The front desk and cleaning staff were quite enthusiastic. The breakfast was also good. The security staff were also very enthusiastic. But you could hear the barking of the dog in the bungalow next door at night. Haha. There is free airport pick-up and drop-off service. Overall, I can give it 80 points

GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean, and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and always smiling. They helped me find a trustworthy taxi, which I really appreciated. The room was cleaned every day, and the sheets were changed regularly.
The location is very convenient, close to the airport and other places around the city. I was also picked up from the airport, which made my arrival very easy.
The hotel is quiet and not crowded, and the price is very good compared to other hotels. I would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit. The wifi is ok but could be better

CCatherine AnnOverall, we had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Executive Apartments. The staff were professional and welcoming, the room very comfortable and the breakfast spread was really good with lots of choice. The location is good, easy to get to from the airport using the Ride app and then centrally located for sightseeing. We didn't use the kitchen in our room, but it seemed to have everything in it. Some of the fixtures in the bathroom (particularly the shower) were dated and could use an upgrade but it didn't bother us. Overall a great choice for Addis visits.

FFarhiya farax HajiSome staff were good and front desk manager during the day but it's poor over the phone in the night and restaurant waitress.
Couple of days we asked staff simple stuff, like butter and we was told, there's no butter and almost everyday breakfast it was the same except on Saturday, they provided samusas.
There breakfast is very heavy 😕 😫.. rice, anjera eithopian pancake with mixed with eithopian spice sauce, different bread, mixed cooked vegetable, cooked cabbage, cupcakes, cakes and arabian beans and cold porridge make with water and one choice of cereal.
The room is big but the cleaning is not good and we found cockrach but we already informed the front desk manager.
Overall poor service, poor quality of food and poor cleaning.

GGuest UserThis is my second stay in this hotel - although my first stay was not positive, but the hotel staff are friendly and they tried to help. The problems I faced previously such as no water to the room, during peak hours, still persist. So I have taken to shower during off-peak period. In addition, during this stay there were periods at night, of more than 10 mins, where there was no electricity to the room on 2 days. I think the above issues are due to the aged infrastructure of the hotel and hotel management should invest into upgrading these systems. Apart from these, the friendliness of the staff, more than make up for these inconveniences. But this is no excuse for the management not to upgrade the hotel infrastructure, since the hotel is often running full occupancies (due to lack of choice).
