Aalex vhaaikun rajaduraiOld beautiful hotel located near the port. Room was big and clean, the toilet is old and not that pleasant. Its near to the train station just walking distance. I took a train from there to kandy. Breakfast was not as great as I was expecting. Simple dishes though. Overall it's like a medieval building converted to a hotel.

A half-hour drive away from the hustle and bustle of the airport, and you're plunged into the tropical narrative of this architectural poet. Bawa uses light and shadow as his brush, writing a Sri Lankan-style tranquility on the shores of the lagoon—the roughness of concrete embraces the swaying palm trees, the corridors are like time tunnels, leading you into a colonial dream of the last century.
The guest rooms are truly a footnote to Southeast Asia: rattan, teak, and lazy-turning ceiling fans fulfill all your fantasies about south of the equator. As for cleanliness, it's merely a minor flaw; who cares before the divine artistry of Bawa's architecture? Open the window and you're greeted by the symphony of blue and green of the lagoon; egrets are frequent visitors at dawn and dusk; the scenery here heals everything.
Choosing this place is essentially about engaging in a dialogue with the master.

GGuest UserIt suited its purpose to be close to the airport, but otherwise there is not much to do in the area neither in the hotel. I would not stay longer than necessary. The hotels facilities are basic, rooms a bit outdated, though gym is quite good. Pool is nice and breakfast tasty and good variety

Right on the beach, good spacious rooms, with everything you need, very clean and good AC.
Rooms over look the pool and beach which is nice to wake up to every morning.
The staff are a credit to the hotel with fantastic service from house keeping to reception to pool attendants. Could not fault it. Food and Drinks are excellent too, try the Terrace Bar for cocktails you won’t be disappointed.
Food is good value at the Beach / Pool Bar too
Would definitely recommend this hotel if your coming to Negombo

MMishel91Check in fast but when we got to the room it was not what we booked. So we had to wait till the preped the actual room we booked. However, they gave us free cocktails while we waited so it was good for the room mishap. When we got the actual room we booked it was great. The bathtub was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Only down fall the dinner buffet was very bad given the hotel Jetwing brand and breakfast buffet was so so. Hotel is by the beach and close to the airport.

MMH RONYGood location. they don't have a spa but when i was booking they showed me they have a spa. The room was very hot because my room was on the 2nd floor, The hotel was also just two floors. Balcony was very nice you can see the sea from balcony.

YYihuiliyiThe hotel I chose for transit in Negombo is roughly equivalent to the level of a three-star hotel in China. The breakfast is self-service with a wide variety of options, and the fruits and banana yogurt are well received. Check-in was very fast, and I give a thumbs up to the guy at the front desk. I gave the guy who carried the luggage a tip of 100 rupees, and he seemed very happy. What I was not satisfied with was that I booked a superior king-size bed room, but ended up getting a double standard room. I don't know if there was a problem with the system. Also, the plug of the washbasin was blocked, and I didn't know how to open it🥹

WWujunlushiThe hotel is about half an hour away from the airport. You can book a shuttle at the front desk for about US$20 per trip. There is a beach downstairs, but the beach is a bit dirty and the sand is co****. The room is quite clean, you need to bring your own slippers, but the soundproofing is average. There is a KTV upstairs and it is a bit noisy before 9pm. There is a bar and swimming pool on the top floor, which is quite large and has a good view. There is a restaurant on the 6th floor. The staff are very enthusiastic, especially the restaurant manager. He is very nice and the pasta is very good. My brother who had a flight to catch a flight told the manager in advance that they can take it away. The price is about the same as at the airport, but his salads are better. There are a lot of colorful peppers and raw onions, and other dishes use some Sri Lankan spices, which are similar to strong curry flavor, so friends who are not used to it should order with caution. Not bad for a one-night transfer between flights.
