Spa hotels in Negombo

Old beautiful hotel located near the port. Room was big and clean, the toilet is old and not that pleasant. Its near to the train station just walking distance. I took a train from there to kandy. Breakfast was not as great as I was expecting. Simple dishes though. Overall it's like a medieval building converted to a hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, and transportation is easy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are very polite and greet everyone they meet. The breakfast is plentiful. Although it's almost Chinese New Year, the hotel wasn't crowded, but it still had a festive Chinese New Year atmosphere.

The guesthouse owner greeted us very warmly and fed us a delicious dinner. The room was wonderful! The next morning I had a fever, so the owner gave me some Panadol to take with me on the road. They also helped me buy a power bank because the phone charger in the car wasn't working. Thanks to the owner and his wife! I highly recommend this hotel!

Вилла расположена в районе Негомбо, в 7 минутах пешком до моря, нам достался номер со всеми удобствами и миникухней с холодильником и чайником, горячая вода была всегда (за исключением полдня после ливня), сам номер - очень уютный, с балдахинами от комаров, кучей розеток, вай-фаем (после ливня тоже не очень стабильно работает). Мы на Шри-Ланке первый раз и больше хотели сделать акцент на экскурсионных поездках и… хозяин виллы предложил нам самый оптимальный вариант - индивидуальный трехдневный тур на автомобиле с водителем по всем достопримечательностям, которые мы сами хотели и даже больше (даже на башню Амбулувава отвезли и подгадали приезд поезда на 9-тиарочном мосту и потом путешествие на самом поезде через мост в другую провинцию), с ночевкой в лучших видовых отелях региона! При этом цена была ниже предложений местных турфирм на двухдневные туры. А ещё хозяева организовали нам трансфер из и в аэропорт! Все было четко и без накладок! Общие впечатления - Негомбо некурортный район, море и берег  не самые чистые, но эту виллу в качестве перевалочной базы или как место, откуда можно поехать посмотреть страну однозначно можно рекомендовать! И отдельная благодарность Джудит за отзывчивость и очень вкусную еду! 🫶🏼

Convenient resort hotel The location is in the alley at the end of the section, which is relatively biased, but it is also convenient On the day of check-in, the manager upgraded us to the family room and got a large space, very good! It was seven or eight o'clock when we checked in. The manager Mr. Mareen was very warm and received a delicious juice 🍹! The check-in process is also very concerned about our needs and safety, which is very heartwarming. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old and there are many traces of use. Be careful that there is no hair dryer, spare parts and slippers in the room (but we have them ourselves), the TV may not operate, it is impossible to watch. Because it is located at the beach, there are really a lot of mosquitoes. We played mosquitoes all night, and maybe the tenants went to the beach and brought too much sand. The floor and bathroom mats were a little traces. We prefer to step on barefoot. I really feel that cleanliness can be strengthened! By the way, the seafood restaurant recommended by the manager is very delicious 😋

Amazing hotel with a lot of care and thought put into the little details. Feels very unique with the suites having a very architectural type feel, example recsess in the bathroom for light features and shelving etc. the door however had an old rusty handle which would fault, locking you in! Had to leave the door open propped by a bin. The pool is beautiful although not as clean as our previous hotel at Heritance Negombo, a few doors up. The power also cut out 10+ times over an hour period. Maybe the switch between solar to grid needs to be upgraded. The single lift is also very old and tiny. Definitely needs an upgrade. Spa was good, breakfast was fairly standard however fresh pancakes were a treat after 2 weeks of eating stale hard ones at other buffets haha

This place truly rejuvenates your body. It's a hotel, but it feels more like a sanctuary where you can cleanse both your body and soul. You wake up at 6 AM for yoga, followed by two and a half hours of Ayurvedic treatments daily, prescribed by a specialist. Evenings are dedicated to meditation. The therapists are excellent. I've had massages in many countries and am quite particular about therapist compatibility. While I did initially have one who wasn't a good fit, I was able to discuss it with the specialist and switch. The staff genuinely cares about our comfort. My 5-night, 6-day stay was enough to experience Ayurveda, but for actual treatment, two weeks would be necessary. I believe a month-long stay would allow for a complete cellular renewal of the body. If I were to ever develop a chronic illness or cancer, I would want to stay here for several months for serious treatment. Even to prevent chronic diseases and cancer, I feel it would be beneficial to come here regularly for a detox. Meals are therapeutic and prepared according to your dosha. Honestly, some Western guests complained about the food during my stay, but it's meant to be therapeutic. It's tailored to your dosha, eliminating foods that don't suit your body, flavored only with spices, and hardly any salt or sugar is used. Despite that, the presentation and taste are truly commendable. Over my 5-night, 6-day stay, I never had the same menu twice for any of the three daily meals. Even the fruit platters were artfully varied. Since no alcohol or coffee is served, it might not be ideal for those looking for a typical resort experience, but for anyone wanting to reset their body and mind, this is the perfect place.

The room is big and I am quite satisfied with the price. The bed is clean and the food tastes good. We felt very comfortable on the second morning here. However, I need to give a suggestion to the hotel. It is better to install glass in the bathroom window, otherwise the blinds alone cannot prevent mosquitoes from entering. Fortunately, the air conditioner was cold enough that night and it was equipped with mosquito repellent.

Our stay here was so accommodating with a large room with larger bathroom with everything you need! Great location and such attentive family who make the stay 10/10 experience!
