Environment: Facing the Eiger Mountain, it is very comfortable to have a leisurely dinner on the balcony. When you come down the first hill by scooter, you will pass by this hotel, so it is convenient to go upstairs to put your things down and take a rest. Just be sure to take the bus when you come here with luggage. Although it’s a 20-minute walk, it’s all uphill and it’s super tiring! ! Hygiene: Hygiene is very good. The water from the tap is direct drinking water, both hot and cold. The breakfast is good with a wide variety. There is a bicycle room downstairs.

The Aarburg Hotel & Café is a charming little spot in Interlaken, just a 15-minute walk from Interlaken West train station. While it’s tempting to take the shortcut, I’d recommend sticking to the main road, especially in snowy weather—it’s much easier for pulling luggage. Check-in was smooth and efficient, but do note there are no lifts in this cozy hotel. Carrying heavy bags up the narrow stairs was a bit of a workout, so pack light if you can. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the coffee—it lived up to all the glowing Google reviews. Breakfast was simple but wholesome, with fresh bread, croissants, yogurt, and healthy toppings like dried berries, almonds, and chia seeds. The café is pet-friendly, so don’t be surprised to see a few furry friends around. The room itself was modest but comfortable. However, as the building is wooden, sounds tend to carry. We wondered if we were bothering other occupants but thankfully, no complaints! The location is peaceful, away from the main road, though the church bells that sound at intervals through the night was a little disturbing on the first night. With a supermarket near the train station for quick snacks and essentials, this hotel is both convenient and quiet. Perfect for couples looking for a laid-back stay. I’d happily book here again if I return to Interlaken.

The room was very satisfactory. We booked a triple room on the top floor with a bed for each person. It also had a fully equipped kitchen and a small refrigerator. Vlad was very enthusiastic. We discussed in advance to store our luggage to go to the first mountain, which was very convenient for us. The hotel window can directly see the snow-capped mountains opposite. The weather is good and the view is better when you go out in the morning. He also provided us with a lot of travel guides, which was very good compared to the recommendations on Xiaohongshu. Close to the West Station, if you take the bus from the Jungfrau, and the bus is only two miles in an hour, but only two stations are also very fast. Although there are restaurants downstairs in the hotel, it is very quiet. It was the curtain that couldn't stop the light, and the Christmas tree outside was still lit up for a night.捂脸🤦‍♀️

The hotel is located in Interlaken West, just a few minutes' walk from the train station! Along the way and nearby, there are numerous shops and restaurants, including a COOP supermarket. 😂 Although I shared a bathroom, it was just a few steps from my room and clean! I received a confirmation email from the hotel before check-in, allowing me to check in online, streamlining the check-in process. 👍🏻 Although I missed the front desk's opening hours, I received an email notification and received my room key, transportation card, and Wi-Fi password. Although I didn't interact with the staff formally, every time I saw them, they were always smiling and nodding. I had been concerned that my room, located above the restaurant, would be noisy or subject to cooking smells, but upon arrival, I didn't notice any of that!

Location was perfect one stop by bus away from the train station, right across ski rental stop with direct bus right outside towards ski lifts, the restaurant of the hotel is also amazing and I loved the Rosti they made me.

Super nice! Other than the slightly inconvenient location and the slightly small room, everything else was perfect!

It's about a 10-minute walk from Grindelwald Station, and the bus dispatch interval is long, so you have to calculate your time before moving. It was nice to be able to cook, but it wasn't very pleasant because of the smell of burnt oil in the room that doesn't go away even with ventilation. I think 1 towel per person for 2 nights was a bit too much. However, the view of the Eiger North Wall from the balcony was very beautiful enough to accommodate all these easy points.

Beautiful environment, ideal location, convenient transportation, great breakfast, warm indoor environment, and kettle. You can see the green mountains outside the window, and you can fall asleep to the sound of water at night, which is very comfortable!

The hotel is located in the hills on the edge of the town of Interlaken. It is also 5-8 minutes drive from the train station. The hotel is similar to the Youth Hostel, shared bathroom and bathroom, but it is clean. The boss knew that we were preparing for breakfast in the early morning and let us take it away. Good choice!
