Romantic Hotels in Interlaken District

"Enjoyed our stay. We did not realize trip.con enforces rule communication must be done in trip.com, so we were late to provide important information for late check-in. Luckily the trip.com call works, we managed to contact the hostel. The hostel provided a very detailed information how to perform late check-in after reception close. They have 2 buildings, old building and new building. We stayed at new building, but most of the amenities like kettles, microwaves and fridge are in old building. So it's a bit inconvenient to walk over especially in cold weather."

"Stayed at Hotel Toscana for 2 nights (Nov. 13-15, 2024). One issue we had was we lost a necklace. We were wearing scarves so my sister and I left 2 gold necklaces at the table. We didn’t know there will be housekeeping as we’re only staying for 2 nights. All of us were out 10AM and went back 6PM. When we got back, 1 of the necklace was gone. We looked everywhere, under the mattress and bed, all sides of the table, inside the bathroom, and every side of the room, but it was gone. The receptionist was helful enough to check with her boss and the housekeeping but who would admit they stole something, right? I just hope whoever took it found a good use out of it. Other than that, the location is perfect, it’s within a walking distance (around 7-10min) to Interlaken West station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel room is equipped with kettle and glass cups, no mugs. No airconditioning unit but it was pretty cold during our stay so we just opened the window a bit and it was fine. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of the mountain and people paragliding. The room looked clean the moment we entered, but while we were searching under the bed and tables, dust has piled up underneath, it was very dusty like it hasn’t been cleaned for months and they only sweep the visible areas of the floor. The bathroom smelled like pee even before we used it. I hope they improve these parts, the hotel’s not that bad if you’ve experienced staying there (in my opinion)."
