The contrast between visiting Puzhehei and Bama was stark. From the B&B owner in Puzhehei to the convenience store, I had no sense of service. But arriving at this B&B instantly cheered me up. The hostess and her family were so welcoming, the cleanliness was excellent, and the design was tasteful. The pillows are a bit too high.

The hotel is newly opened, and the owner said we were the first guests. All the facilities are brand new and clean. The B&B is right by the lake. We arrived a little after 8 pm and said he had reserved dinner for us (see Figure 6), but we had already eaten and didn't eat much. The house is new, so it has a wood smell, but we always keep the doors open during the day for ventilation. We had originally booked a hotel in the county town, but wanted to stay by the lake, so we canceled the reservation and booked Shanshuiyuan. It turned out to be the right choice.

When we checked in it was after 5pm and the front desk was closed, but if we called directly they would provide us with the room code, so it was convenient to check in by ourselves. I was very satisfied with my stay! Whether it was the service, security, or quietness, everything was great!

Judging from the name, the hotel must have been quite nice before; it's an old hotel! The facilities are in decline, but it's still okay to stay there! Not far from it is the most famous local mountain, Hen Mountain, where the peach blossoms are in full bloom right now—perfect for a hike and some sightseeing!
