3-Star Hotels in Tunis

This “hotel” did not match with me. Not a four star hotel. Location is fine and it’s a nice old building but that is what they lean on. The service and amenities are poor, breakfast very standard and really limited attention to detail for guests. Expect a 3* guesthouse with friendly staff.

Mixed review, but overall too pricy hostel for the quality of the service. Having a good location and a cute decoration isn’t enough. Pros and cons below : Pros : - Amazing location in the heart of the Medina ideally located - Cute hostel with beautiful tiles - Kind and helpful staff Cons : - The room we booked in advance was not available when we arrived. Instead of a double bed room, we were put in a bunk beds room with no explication or apologies. No solution, accommodations or compensation were offered to us afterwards. Very poor service from the hotel on that side and I saw online afterwards it’s not the first time they’re doing that - Noisy hostel with no soundproof rooms at all. All the rooms are close to each other and open to the dining area with the breakfast starting at 7:30am and people coming back very late at night. Earplugs very much needed - Average breakfast, the quality of the products is poor knowing what is available in the area. Be careful with water as some plastic bottles for breakfast are filled with tap water - Be aware you’ll have to walk at least 5min in little paved streets after taking off your taxi and finding a taxi to leave the area won’t be always very easy

The room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is spacious and easy to use, the hotel is in a prime location with very convenient transportation. The surrounding restaurants are convenient and delicious and inexpensive! Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy outside, which affected my sleep. The breakfast was delicious but there were not many varieties.

The room and bathroom are clean and big enough. The mattress was good. Unfortunately, there was no hairdryer or kettle. The breakfast is simple, but it fills you up. The way to the hotel went through the market, which gives a pretty good impression of the city. The location itself is in a quiet side street. We slept well

Nice hotel, clean good service and a nice breakfast, booked with a good price, although the reciption asked for a 12dt fee but it was okay, recommended, the only downside is the location as there is not much to see there

A very pleasant stay. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, spacious, and cleaned daily. However, the soundproofing could be improved: the noise from the hallways is quite audible. Another point for improvement is the hot water, which is inefficient in the morning, with very little hot water available, unlike in the afternoon and evening. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Tunis, just a 2-minute walk from the train station and about an 11-minute walk from the shared taxi station serving the southern cities.

Lovely and clean room, the stuff at the reception were helpful and welcoming! The location is nice near the airport and the city center, strategic location! Definitely recommend 😊

My stay at Ambassadeurs Hôtel was quite pleasant. The service was attentive and professional, with the staff always ready to assist with any requests. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, providing a cozy environment to unwind. The common areas, including the lobby and lounge, were inviting and tastefully designed. Regarding the food, I only had breakfast at the hotel, and it was a delightful experience. The breakfast spread was generous, with a good variety of options to choose from. The quality of the food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes. I particularly enjoyed the selection of pastries and the fresh fruit. The dining area was pleasant, with a calm atmosphere that was perfect for starting the day. Overall, my experience at Ambassadeurs Hôtel was enjoyable, with great service, comfortable facilities, and a satisfying breakfast.

This hotel is everything it promises. Great service, great facilities, wonderful food and bar and safe town centre location. The locality gives one access to virtually everything one needs in terms of shops, services and amenities. You need a haircut or shave - 2 minutes walk; you need a mall - 2 minutes walk; a hammam - back of the hotel; you want to eat out - just step out - got the drift? I would stay here again any day. Oh, and the showers had great flow.

Great location and very kind staff, let me check in early and left me in peace for the duration of my stay. Hotel is a little dated and amenities are a little basic but it’s cosy and has nice views. Balcony door didn’t open but wasn’t too much of an issue. For the price and location this is a good option.
