4-Star Hotels in Changxing

I didn't have high hopes before booking because there are so many misleading photos online 😔 But after checking in, I found it was definitely worth the price. First of all, unlike typical guesthouses, it's more like a manor hotel. Driving in, I was immediately struck by the stunning garden view. The room's decor and materials were also very thoughtful, cleaner and more refined than typical guesthouses, with no unpleasant smells. The service was excellent; if I contacted the manager on WeChat, they would respond immediately without even asking for a review. The best part was that they didn't raise prices during the National Day holiday. The hotel food was also delicious, and the ingredients tasted organic. I even packed a jar of tasty dried radish to take home before leaving ☺️

This is a place where we intentionally come for. Since my husband was so fond of Tang Dynasty related things, he just search anything related to it. Then this Tang inspired hotel catches his eyes. It was located a bit far from the city proper, we came along from Shanghai straight to Changxing through high speed train then ride Didi to this Changxing Datang Gong Cha Vipusea Hotel （长兴大唐恒力酒店）, located near mountainside, due to its location in Gong Cha - the famous tea plantation. Just at the back of this hotel there's a well-known area called as Datang Shi Er Fang (大唐十二坊）and the Changxing Da Tang GongCha Tea Museum. This hotel itself has a lot of room styles. At first we book for the Guipu Courtyard Family Suite, just to see the interior, the design is intended for a family with small kids, there's a separation tatami area where you can relax, watch TV, and a small Teepee for kids to explore. For our 2nd day, we try for their Guipu Garden View Double bedroom, the room a bit smaller but already good enough for 2 persons. During our stay, we were assisted by 小宋。He was so helpful all through out during the 3 days 2 nights. The restaurant staffs are all very well rounded. Overall this hotel is worth visiting.

The hotel environment and sanitation are very good, but the front desk attitude is really bad. I originally checked in the day before because the hotel has not been able to cancel the check-in again. I called at 11:30 today and called three before and after. Didn't the order write late check-out? The third call came. The front desk said that the hotel was checking out at 12 o'clock. I didn't check it carefully. I said that my order showed that it was two o'clock check-out. After I said, she was reluctant to say okay, then we can check out after two o'clock. What do you mean, isn't this my right? After checking, there is no apology. Fortunately, my friend lived. I just went out to buy something. The phone called me here. If I was resting in the room, wouldn't I be awakened by you, and there is no explanation after the matter!

It is a 2-minute walk from Chengshangou Scenic Area. Just turn right when you go out. The hotel is very distinctive. You can see the mountain view as soon as you open the curtains, and your mood will be immediately improved. It's a pity that the peach blossoms and azaleas withered at the end of April, otherwise the scenery would be more beautiful. There is a huge peach tree in the lobby, which is very iconic. The entrance and hand soap in the room are all permeated with the concept of peach blossoms, which were discovered by the children. The family suite on the third floor is very popular with children. There is a double-layer children's room, plus two adult beds, so even if you bring three children, you can sleep. The bathroom is very spacious, and the toilet and wash mirror can be selected. There are children's slippers and children's toothbrushes and toothpaste. Breakfast is in another building. There are both Chinese and Western cold and warm meals, freshly cooked wonton noodles, and French fries and popcorn, which are very suitable for children. We bought a scenic spot package at the front desk, which allows us to enter and exit the scenic spot repeatedly. We were tired in the morning, so we went back to the hotel to rest and eat at noon. The breakfast restaurant is next to the farmhouse, which feels connected to the scenic spot. Across the road is a barbecue and a coffee bar facing the lake. This hotel is very convenient. After lunch, we went to visit the scenic spot again in the afternoon. The cloud drifting and polar slide are really worth visiting repeatedly. Adults and children feel excited. Anyway, we had fun and stayed comfortably. The front desk service is also very patient and meticulous, and they answer all questions without getting tired of it.

The hotel is relatively new, and the decoration level in the room is slightly lower than that of the hotel's appearance. There is only one washing machine and one dryer in the laundry room, which is totally unable to meet the needs. The dryer was very slow and a pair of pants didn't dry even after 3 hours of drying.

Traveling with my family on National Day, I booked two rooms. The public space of the homestay is large and there is a swimming pool. The room overlooks the distant mountains and the scenery is great. The toilet in the bathroom is a pure smart toilet with a flushing function, unlike some hotels that claim to be smart toilets, there is actually a smart flushing function. There are outdoor balconies on all floors, where you can enjoy tea and watch the scenery and chat. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, it can be seen that the store is very attentive, and the fried mustard edamame is delicious. The old area farmhouse dishes recommended by the beautiful proprietress that night were also very powerful, and every dish tasted great! I will choose to stay next time.

The entire homestay is nestled among tea gardens surrounded by mountains, with a strong sense of design. There are 12 rooms on 3 floors, each named after a Chinese zodiac animal. Each room has a different style, with some offering tranquil views of vegetation by the window and others offering views of green tea mountains. Each room has its own unique charm. This time, my family and I experienced the rat, sheep, ox, and dog staycations. Each staycation gave me a different feeling. The homestay's own sika deer was the children's favorite, and there was also a silver shaded dog named Zongzi that was very friendly to the guests.

The room was very clean, the front desk lady was very good, and the son's puzzle toys were also sent. The location of the hotel was also very convenient. The breakfast was rich. The dishes in the hotel's own local restaurant were also delicious. The son said that he must give five-star praise!
