My middle name is FrancesOverall enjoyed my stay. I initially had a room (705) located at the end next to the staff room but changed to another room because of the constant slamming of the doors and loud staff conversations that I could hear from my room. My room change was dealt with smoothly and I preferred it to the one before. The gym was great to use, though the room is small and many of the cardio machines were squeezed in. The main issue I had was with the inconsistent standards of cleanliness with housekeeping of my rooms; when I checked into the first room, there were toe nail clippers left on the floor that was visibly seen. When my room was cleaned the next day, the floor was half cleaned, bins were emptied and drinks replenished but the toilet was not cleaned. Table and desk area were not cleaned also. Housekeeping in the second room was better; they did everything but just didn’t clean the floor which was annoying. The rooms are well designed with lovely city view. Location is okay - it’s about 20-25min walk from Manchester Piccadilly which I did with my suitcase and was fine. Sainsbury’s literally around the corner and loads of restaurants nearby. I would stay again however it’s ridiculous in my opinion to complain about housekeeping standards as a guest when staff should just know how to properly clean a room.

joeyk64Well I have stayed in this hotel twice before and cant help but say it has lost its shine. Check in was fine. We booked a premium room with club lounge. The lounge was great. Nan who was working there absolutely loved his job and was great. He served us with drinks from 6 till 8 he told us it was party time. Had a great laugh. The room was a nice size comfy bed. Had a very stale aroma although appeared clean. I found I think the bathroom was the source of the smell. The water pressure was very low so the shower was disappointing. We slept well and headed out and down for breakfast. Dirty dishes and glasses littered the corridor at night time and still there in the morning. Breakfast was ok. Good quality bacon and sausage choice of eggs cooked freshly for you and omelettes everything you would need was there. Did what we need.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is located next to manchester picadilly train station. I travelled from London to manchester by train so it is super convenient for me to stay here. There are many supermarkets and cafe around such as sainsbury local, mark & spencer, co op, greg and cafe nero.
The staff is very helpful and attentive. The room is modern. I request for 4 single beds and my request is well accommodated. The room is fully equipped with kitchen utensil. They are very clean and useful for preparing breakfast for my kids. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The room is well maintained and air con works really well. Shower room is clean and not slippery. After checking out, the hotel staff allowed me to leave the luggage with them for a few hours.
Will be back here again next time I come to Manchester.

The hotel was ok overall. The room was an upgrade that we paid for and it was quite large however was cold for the first night as it took ages to warm up. Bed was comfortable and pillows were very soft. The breakfast was quite a small hot food selection compared to similar hotels. There were no fried eggs, tomatoes or black pudding which I missed. Some of the cooked food was cold but the food there was good quality. I would probably try a different hotel next time.

RebeccaB48My room was very quiet and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel does look a little dated inside, especially the corridors so in that respect I didn't think it felt like a 4 star hotel.
There did not appear to be a hairdryer in my room.
The location is very good, close to Northern Quarter restaurants and bars.

The front desk staff were very welcoming. My flight arrived early in the morning, so I dropped off my luggage and went out for breakfast. By noon, my room was ready for check-in.
There's a supermarket right across the street, and the kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, dishes, and cookware, so I was able to prepare my own breakfast the next day. All the cleaning supplies were also provided.
Having a dishwasher and washing machine makes this place perfect for longer stays.

Guest UserComing back from Spain to live in the UK, this hotel is not far from Manchester Airport, about a 20-minute drive. The front desk service was excellent; the staff member who checked me in spoke to me in Chinese, saying they really liked China and provided warm service. The room was also very spacious. Highly recommend!

Anonymous User## Staff
Big thanks to the kind and sunny Black woman who checked me out on the day of my departure. Also, a huge thank you to the laid-back gentleman who checked me in; even though I missed breakfast, he helped arrange some food and drinks. All the staff here are very friendly, and I could see them doing daily PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) meetings.
## Hotel
If you're heading to Manchester Airport, this hotel and the Hilton on the way are both good options. It's a bit of a walk with luggage, but there's an Aldi next door, which is great for longer stays if you want to cook for yourself. If you're traveling with kids and want steak, it's much more cost-effective to buy it from the supermarket and cook it yourself. Otherwise, a single meal can easily cost £150. You really can't compare the prices and habits of mainland China to eating out every day for steak and lamb in the UK – it'll break the bank!
## Hardware
The building is very new and first-rate. The windows open both north and south, allowing for good cross-ventilation.
## View
None. It's just a large apartment with a fridge, dishwasher, etc. However, the washing machines in the laundry room downstairs seemed substandard, so I didn't dare use them.
## Overall
Convenient, comfortable, quiet, and first-rate. Usually costs around £80 to £100.

Mel ValeraDespite checking in quite late, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, especially Alejandro, who was incredibly attentive and approachable throughout our stay.
As it was our first time staying here, we weren’t sure what to expect, but it certainly didn’t disappoint. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel is in a great location near the city centre, making it very convenient. While parking isn’t free, we were given a discounted rate for the car park across the road after validating our parking at reception, which was a nice touch.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation close to the centre.
