When confirming the order, there was only “payment made in the hotel” The charge when doing check in was higher than the amount shown in the app. It took time to do check in and feeling was not very good. Buffet Breakfast was good. You can order some choices when it was not available in the hot plates. Yummy👍

Wow! This is truly the best hotel in Manchester! Every room is unique. The rooms on the first floor have high ceilings which gives it a grandeur feel. The staff are excellent and really pull the stops out to make your stay here extra special. The complimentary drink to meet other hotel patrons between 5-6pm is a welcomed touch. The food in the Refuge restaurant is of a high standard and I can honestly say that their Sunday Roasts are one of the best I have ever had. Breakfast was also of excellent quality. Sunday evening live jazz in the bar creates a great vibe. What I truly like about this 5* hotel is the atmosphere. Unlike most hotels, this hotel does not have that lifeless clinical feel that the majority of hotels who are catering to business clients. There restaurant and bars are of a quality where you would want to go even if you are not lucky enough to stay in the hotel. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The hotel was nice and central. Breakfast was lovely and had many options, we enjoyed the coffee and tea varieties too. One downside was the noise. It was a bit noisy when people walked by the room

The hotel and room was beautiful and perfectly adequate for us as a family of four. Found the reception staff were warm and friendly but the young guys working the bar were not so much. Also for hotel or its size I was shocked to find there was no vending machines when food etc is stopped at 10pm. Chance to purchase from one of these as and when you like without the added wait and cost of room service for the sake of a drink or snack would be beneficial - most hotels have them and is of expected the Crowne Plaza to at least have one! Almost £10 for the tiniest tuna toastie and when looking at it, it was more rocket salad with a smidge of tuna and a handful of crisps on the plate. For the food issue la and service, probably wouldn’t stay again.

The newer hotels in the campus area are up to standard in all aspects and are worth recommending. The only drawback is that it is extremely inconvenient for self-driving tourists. Parking is not allowed in front of the hotel and there is no parking lot at the hotel. You need to park in a public parking lot and walk for 5 minutes.

Nice hotel with reasonable price, also the room is large and clean. But there is no slipper or other items like toothbrush so you have to bring yourself. The location is near Queen Road Tram station but not close to city central. It’s convenient if you drive yourself, but a little hard if you take the public transport. The air conditioner is a little noisy when it’s on. 酒店很好,价格划算 位置靠近电车站 不在市中心附近。晚上比较人烟稀少 环境蛮好的,空间也不小。适合呆一两晚 但没有一些一次性用具,要自带

OOliver WilliamI booked this hotel because an offer meant it was the same price as the nearby Ibis Budget. It's a much nicer looking hotel than that, friendly and attentive staff and nice decor. The room is spacious enough with everything you'd need, including a hair dryer (such as they are at hotels, you're better standing in front of the AC vents tbh). I was asked if I was dining tonight and since there's not much else around the area except for more hotels I said yes, and was told they were expecting it to be busy so they took a reservation for me. I had a drink at the bar (£7.40 for a pint of Camden Hells, that's how you know you're not on holiday anymore, ouch!) and then had my meal; I had olives, garlic bread and lasagna, all very good. A little pricey but always have to remember you're paying airport premiums, because what else are you going to eat? The Tribe website advertised a 24 hour ”Grab and Go” shop that sold drinks and snacks, but the one at Manchester Airport seems to close at 4pm, which was before I'd even checked in. This was a little disappointing, there were plenty of staff about so not sure why the shop has to close so early. I wanted some soft drinks to drink in my room and while you can order then at the bar and take them upstairs no problem, you're paying bar prices (maybe this is why the shop closes so early, though I'd like to think it wasn't). There were no vending machines or anything around either so once the restaurant and bar close there's nothing to eat or drink. Maybe this is just me but I like at least having the option of a small snack or drink at night. But then again I realise this hotel is probably aimed at a different kind of traveller than me; much more of a business trip kind of vibe rather than a lone traveller looking for bargains. That said apart from the Grab and Go counter closing at 4pm there was literally nothing to complain about here, especially with the price I paid. A nice way to start or end a holiday/trip.

KKCcccccccccLocation is the best ; just next to the Piccadilly station. Spacious room ; comfy ! Very good ventilation and air conditioned! Quiet room! Unfortunately my room was on the first floor so passes-by could see us through the windows if we didn’t use the curtain. Some stains were found on towels, in the bed sheets and on the dining table; luggage storage after check out needed a small fee in the storage room on the fifth floor; In spite of these I will still come again when I need to get back to Manchester :-)

LLivRotaruI recently stayed at the Ibis Budget Hotel at Manchester Airport, and it was a fantastic experience! The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, offering everything I needed for a short stay. The location is perfect for airport access, with easy transport options to the terminals. Ttraveller2002Went here for my birthday just to get away for a couple of days and so glad I did! I had never been to Manchester before, but the location made it so easy - it’s only 10/15 mins away from Manchester Piccadilly, and the street has lots of fantastic bars. The staff couldn’t be more pleasant, and the leisure area was fantastic with great amenities such as the pool, sauna and unlimited towels. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a comfier bed before!

KKhairahI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel during an event at AO Arena. The location was incredibly convenient, making it a breeze to access the arena. The room provided was spacious, offering ample space to relax and unwind. One of the standout features was the reasonable price, which made the overall experience even more satisfying. Additionally, the self-checkout mini store in the reception area stocked with a variety of snacks was a delightful touch. I found it convenient to grab a quick bite or indulge in some treats without having to venture far. Front desk were super friendly and quick, made the check-in and check out easy. With such positive experiences, I can confidently say that I will choose to revisit this hotel whenever I have another event at AO Arena.

GGuest UserWas my first time at Premier Inn and i was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Since there are two hotels on site, I wasn’t sure which ones i was to be in so my Uber driver had to wait while i went inside the hotel. I walked right past the reception desk ( easy to miss bc its so small) and went to kiosk but wasn’t being successfully with it. So teh employee at teh reception desk came over and asked if her could help and checked me in in a heartbeat, allowing me to dismiss the Uber driver. Then the same employee not only helped me with my luggage, but took it up in the elevator for me, and the whole time he explained the amenities of the hotel. Once we reached my room, he continued to show me how the key and electricity works, etc. He also arranged for my airport shuttle in the morning. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name but he was excellent on customer service!!! The room was large and clean as was the bathroom. The TV automatically turned itself on and I had a hard time finding how to turn it off- no instructions or remote, etc. Although I didn’t use the coffee supplies, the fact that you had liquid milk/creamer for the coffee was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint was that the bed was too soft and the pillows too hard. I also could have I used a blanket and top sheet but turned on the heat instead to be comfortable. I did not use the restaurant or order any room service.

Ttic.antonovDespite the word Airport being in the name, the actual airport is nowhere to be found—perhaps it took a holiday. My room came with a massive 55-inch Akai(!) telly, which was almost big enough to distract me from the equally massive gaps in the windows masquerading as ventilation. I enjoyed my stay, truly. But would I book again? Hmm, let's just say I'd sooner take my chances with a budget airline's baggage policy.

GgarethWhat an amazing building! So much character and history. Don't expect a brand new room, but it was perfectly acceptable. You can tell it's been a while since they were last refurbished, but for the cost of the room it was amazing. Despite my 3 star for cleanliness, the room was clean, sheets were fresh. I gave three because there was a bottle cap and random pill just under the bed.
