The location was perfect, about 15-20 min walk from Piccadilly station. Breakfast was basic but very good with constant refills. The room was nice but a bit noisy especially when nearby rooms close their doors.

Nice hotel with reasonable price, also the room is large and clean. But there is no slipper or other items like toothbrush so you have to bring yourself. The location is near Queen Road Tram station but not close to city central. It’s convenient if you drive yourself, but a little hard if you take the public transport.
The air conditioner is a little noisy when it’s on.
酒店很好,价格划算 位置靠近电车站 不在市中心附近。晚上比较人烟稀少 环境蛮好的,空间也不小。适合呆一两晚 但没有一些一次性用具,要自带

What an amazing building! So much character and history. Don't expect a brand new room, but it was perfectly acceptable. You can tell it's been a while since they were last refurbished, but for the cost of the room it was amazing. Despite my 3 star for cleanliness, the room was clean, sheets were fresh. I gave three because there was a bottle cap and random pill just under the bed.

Only stayed here for a short trip with access to Piccadilly gardens. Great location to get around Manchester.
Basic hotel room, had kettle and hairdryer in room. No iron in room, but you could use the iron on the 6th floor
Didn’t use the onsite restaurant & bar etc due to other commitments

The hotel is conveniently located near the bus station, convenience stores, and restaurants. A water kettle is provided, and I found the mattress quite comfortable. Since it’s close to the train tracks, you might occasionally hear trains passing by. Staffs are friendly as well. Overall, I’d rate it 5/5.

Great value for money !
Does what it says on the tin ! It's a quirky Ibis Styles, great location 5 mins walk from Picadilly station.
Very friendly staff with good local knowledge. Rooms and reception have quirky decor, I do appreciate that they made an effort.
Very Styles!
Room is compact but has everything you need, nice practical side table and a fake grass cube to sit on. Bathroom roomy and spotlessly clean.
USB A and sockets next to each side of the bed, no USB C though .....
Good price for a mid week, I'm very happy with my choice !

AArriane KaurExcellent hotel! So convenient for work (as I work in Piccadilly Place so less than a 2 min walk!) and service is great. My room and bathroom were also very clean. The only issue I had is that the TV was not a smart TV so I now know to bring my own devices for entertainment. But overall a very nice stay. Will definetely be staying again.

MMaoshaThe hotel is my last option and the most close to the conference, not too expensive comparing with other hotels during this time of year at Manchester. However, you better prepared with toothpaste and toothbrush, shower cup and few other things. The breakfast is ok, not many options nor there is not much left if you go there after 9 am.

GGuest UserThere was a room available so they allowed us to check in early. When I forgot my water bottle, a staff was nice enough to get it Gir me though we had already checked out. The room was small but compact and provided ample supply of tea and coffee options.

GGuest UserThe location was great, the room was great and really clean.
Air con didn’t work and the room and everywhere in the hotel was very hot as all heaters were on.
Breakfast was absolute carnage. There was long waits for everything even just a drink. There was no food available as there was far too many people in at the same time in such a small area. We ended up waiting for 25 minutes and then just left without breakfast and went elsewhere.
DDavidIf you stay at a Premier Inn bring a toilet brush!
I use Premier Inn quite a lot - convenient, comfortable and value for money. Not this time! There seems to have been a change in corporate policy, for the worse. The card that I got when checking in told me that I could get my room made up by informing Reception before 12:00, which I did. Upon my return to the room nothing had been done! Reception then informed me that their head office policy now was for stays longer than one night, rooms would only be made up after 5 days! Fortunately they found some clean towels, replacement tea bags and a toilet brush. Someone from the bar then helped me make up the room and clean the bathroom. Top marks for staff helpfulness but no marks for corporate cleanliness.
MMother and daughterArrived really late but quick checkin , room clean and bed really comfy , taxi from airport was under 10 mins and cost roughly £15 ( tip included 😊) good nights sleep followed by breakfast which is included in the price , everything from fruit , cereals , yogurt , toast or to set you up for your travels you can have a cooked breakfast, really enjoyed and the staff were lovely, hotel called a taxi for us which arrived really quick and we were on our way back to the station stress free , highly

GGuest UserWas my first time at Premier Inn and i was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Since there are two hotels on site, I wasn’t sure which ones i was to be in so my Uber driver had to wait while i went inside the hotel. I walked right past the reception desk ( easy to miss bc its so small) and went to kiosk but wasn’t being successfully with it. So teh employee at teh reception desk came over and asked if her could help and checked me in in a heartbeat, allowing me to dismiss the Uber driver. Then the same employee not only helped me with my luggage, but took it up in the elevator for me, and the whole time he explained the amenities of the hotel. Once we reached my room, he continued to show me how the key and electricity works, etc. He also arranged for my airport shuttle in the morning. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name but he was excellent on customer service!!!
The room was large and clean as was the bathroom. The TV automatically turned itself on and I had a hard time finding how to turn it off- no instructions or remote, etc. Although I didn’t use the coffee supplies, the fact that you had liquid milk/creamer for the coffee was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint was that the bed was too soft and the pillows too hard. I also could have I used a blanket and top sheet but turned on the heat instead to be comfortable. I did not use the restaurant or order any room service.
Ttic.antonovDespite the word Airport being in the name, the actual airport is nowhere to be found—perhaps it took a holiday. My room came with a massive 55-inch Akai(!) telly, which was almost big enough to distract me from the equally massive gaps in the windows masquerading as ventilation.
I enjoyed my stay, truly. But would I book again? Hmm, let's just say I'd sooner take my chances with a budget airline's baggage policy.
GGuest UserHonestly, I’m really disappointed. The room was just alright—not what I expected—but the real issue was the girl at reception on the 5th of May 2025. I booked a room with a city view, and that’s not what I got. When I politely asked about it, she immediately got rude, defensive, and dismissive. She claimed there are no rooms with city views at all—so was the listing just a lie? Either way, it felt like I was being talked down to instead of helped.
It was my first time in Manchester and definitely not the welcome I hoped for. If this is how staff are trained to treat paying guests, something needs to change. Either that staff member seriously needs retraining, or management should start paying more attention to what's happening at reception. First impressions matter—and this one was a letdown.

GGuest UserMy man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom
As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner,
So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton 😘
