Nice clean room and modern clean shower room. The hotel is in a good location and within easy reach of the city centre. Quite a good buffet breakfast but the restaurant area is quite small and gets very busy so best to avoid peak time.

Great service at check-in and a special shout out to Mia who is a great ambassador to excellent customer service. Gave me a quiet room and also went the extra mile and wrote down directions of Manchester United stadium (and tram), even though I didn't ask for them. Gold star employee in my opinion. Had a lovely one night stay, staff is very friendly and everything was well looked after. Near Stockport road for all desi eateries. Breakfast was basic and you need to be early otherwise things get finished. Will stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay, easy check in and out. However, slight mixup and confusion at first by giving up a room that someone has already booked, luckily when we went in they weren’t in but they sorted it and ensured us it wouldn’t happen to us.

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. Our overall experience wasn’t very satisfactory with this hotel. We got a non-window room, the staff members at the reception had no customer service skills as they wouldn’t help with minor inconveniences like providing coffee sachets except the member named Yasar. The room was very hot and only table fan was provided, no AC option. The specifications of the hotel do not meet as it says GYM, sauna, etc. I am an influencer and youtube vlogger, I have a detailed review about the hotel on my channel.

Excellent location and staff very obliging. They held are bags for the afternoon whilst we went around town. Only slight issue, there was no plug socket to put the hairdryer in near the mirror. Overall though very good 👍

Everything was spot on. The gym was immaculate and equipped with everything you’d need for a workout; however, it would be even better if they provided a yoga mat. The bar is practically open 24/7, so you can grab a pint whenever you fancy. If you wake up around 8 a.m. and fancy the free breakfast, you’d best forget it—unless you don’t mind waiting 20-30 minutes in the queue.

The hotel is in a great location for anyone visiting the AO arena, within easy walking distance of the arena, the Printworks, and the Arndale centre. Nice clean room and bathroom. Breakfast is good and included in the price, however, it gets very busy at peak times.
