Renaissance Suzhou Hotel Reviews

Whenever one is visiting Suzhou, this hotel is the ideal location as it is between Jinji Lake (with its cafes and spectacular views from Moon Harbor) and Pingjiang Historical Street (with its incredible architecture and shops). The staff are very friendly and make an effort to be supportive to travelers comfort, special mention to Jessica Jiang and Anas.

Very kind and professional staff, from concierge, check-in station to cleaning personal, Restaurant personal and Bar personal, every single person very friendly and helpful. Due to the fact, me as european, i am not used to taxi apps like people use here in china, but the staff from Renaissance Suzhou arranged every single ride i needed. They helped me with every little thing i needed. I even asked them, if there is a nearby store that sells Ukulele's - Jessica Jiang from the staff quickly told me the location of the next store and arranged the taxi for me. I felt very comfortable in this Hotel and also the barkeepers did a very good job. Good drinks, good snacks. The buffet was amazing and as a Hotel guest i got a discount. Thanks for that! And of course, i will come back to this hotel during my next trip to Suzhou.

A great hotel with a variety of options for breakfast. The double bed room was a great size for us with a good view. Plenty of options to eat with Incity Mall and a department store closeby and the Suzhou centre a decent walk away. You are in a fantastic location here if you want to visit the sights of the gardens and Tiger Hill.

Good location, around the malls with many eateries nearby. Room size is decent and clean. Can see it's a little old fashion designed, but it's very well maintained. Coin laundry and dryer are a bit expensive.

I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. Thank you!

Hotel location is convenient for my friends to pick me up. Breakfast buffet spread was good. Waiters/Waitresses were courteous n helpful.

Old but marvelous hotel, very polite and courtesy front desk staffs make us feel very welcome. Kudos, please keep up with the good work. We will definitely be back again.

Clara is really a nice girl

It was my birthday weekend and staying at this hotel was the best decision ever! The location is great. Central Park metro station is about 8-10 mins walk away. Lots of malls with restaurants and shops around. Suzhou Center is only 15 minutes by walk or 5-10 mins by bike. My room had an amazing view and was squeaky clean 👌🏼 The bed was so soft and comfy! I slept like a baby. I loved that they also provide bath salts for the bath tub😊 The breakfast buffet has a large variety for a western as well as a Chinese breakfast. Clara at the reception was very helpful and even got me a birthday cake waiting for me in my room ☺️ The guys at the entrance were also very helpful when I was struggling to get my food delivery from the food delivery locker. Everything was great! I honestly don’t have any complains about this hotel. 👍🏼😎

This hotel is in a great location - loads of food options around within a 5 to 20 minute walk. Close to a subway so easy to get around. We stayed over CNY so not a lot was open but that was ok. The room was comfortable and clean -although a little dated. The first night we had an issue with the people next to us watching TV and then slamming and in and out of their room until past 3am but when I brought it up to reception the next morning they happily moved us and gave my kids complimentary desserts. The service from staff is amazing - they go out of their way to help even when they are busy. Added bonus - English levels are great. We ordered from the bar on CNY eve and one of the staff gave my kids complimentary ice cream. The pool is lovely. The water is great temperature - not bath water but not icy cold either. It is pleasant to get in to and enjoy. There is also a hot tub to relax in. The pool was never busy while we were there, usually one other family. Breakfast was pleasant (although way too busy on CNY morning!). The first morning we found quite a few of the bread/pastry items were stale, which was a little disappointing. They are a bit slow to top up dishes and beverages but I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say it was over a big holiday. I'd definitely stay here again as the staff are wonderful, the beds are comfortable, the pool is lovely and the location is great.

It was my daughter's birthday and the hotel went above and beyond for us! Early and late checkout, small gifts on arrival and a wonderful cake delivered to our room for her. They were so highly attentive to our needs and went above and beyond. Breakfast is outstanding and plentiful, pool is wonderful. I would never stay elsewhere in Suzhou! Thanks for a fabulous time! See you again soon!
