I booked Lanyuan in Tongli Ancient Town during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The entrance bridge to the ancient town is just a few steps away from the door, which is very convenient. I arrived in the afternoon before the typhoon landed. The view of the landscape terrace on the balcony on the 3rd floor was very comfortable. I took a short stroll in the ancient town. There were still many tourists, and the ancient stage was quite good. The next day, the typhoon passed through. To be honest, her house's architecture and decoration are really hard goods. No matter how windy and rainy it is outside, you can't feel it in the room, or even hear the wind. It's a bit amazing👍 During breakfast, I discussed with the housekeeper whether lunch could be solved in the store. I agreed very readily. A bowl of red soup noodles with stock vegetable stir-fry was delicious. In the evening, a guest ordered a business banquet and helped us contact the chef to order dinner. The hotel-level products were amazing. A boring day in the room ended with a delicious meal. The decoration of the homestay has been seven or eight years old. It is well maintained and there is no trace of time. The housekeeper is very professional. The overall feeling of staying is not inferior to a quality hotel.

The owner contacted me before I arrived at the store and helped me turn on the air conditioner in advance. After I arrived, he asked several times and offered to help carry the luggage upstairs. It was warm inside the room, and he also gave us a large fruit plate. The room was clean and tidy. I would like to try the duplex room next time. This time I chose a twin bed so that my mother and I could sleep well. Haha! Parking is very convenient. It is very convenient to park behind the building to get the luggage. It's my first time in Tongli. I didn't expect to be so satisfied with my stay. I opened the window and heard the creaking sound of the wooden window. The fragrance of wintersweet outside the window was so healing. I felt the feeling of an old house in Suzhou. The location is very good. It's very close to the boat and to Tuisi Garden. The boss will also ride a small car to help pull the suitcase. The service is also very good. I really recommend everyone to come.

The woman who taking care of the hotel is very very very very very very very helpful. She is my best- impression Chinese people for this trip. She is also calm and kind. Anyway, I found that people in Tongli are warm people. Location is very good just at the gate of Ancient town, you can easily go to the town in the morning or in the night to see the difference of scenery. And it's also not far from the food shops and tea-branded shops. However, as my room is bricks as it's in ancient town, so there is some dust on the floor and easily to make your pants turn white/gray from the dust. But if compare the price, location, and the warmness, I can trade off. I like this hotel.

We really enjoyed our time at Yueshang Zen Space! The location is really convenient to go to all the places in Tongli Ancient Watertown. The staff at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful! Rooms were clean and well equipped with everything you need. Really appreciated the cozy heating blanket for the cool night. :-) We received an upgrade to a room with balcony and the view into the courtyard was so beautiful! Also a great place for cat lovers! 😻

The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He drove his own Ferrari to pick us up and take us into the ancient town. The location is very good. Turn left at the South Gate ticket gate and ten meters away is the Tailai Bridgehead Shishemen, which is locally called Xianmenren. The environment is very beautiful. This place was memorable especially because of the great, friendly staff. It's a small place, so don't expect any of the amenities of a huge hotel. However, I enjoyed the interior of my room, the bed was very comfortable and the inside was clean and well maintained. It's only a short walk to the main attractions in Tongli and there's lots of shops and restaurants around. Fully recommend to stay at for a few nights!

This homestay is a remodeled old house. If you have high requirements for the quality of your stay, it is not recommended. 1. The facilities are simple. We have a lot of luggage, and it is a problem to place all kinds of items in the room. 2. The toilet in the reading room on the first floor has a serious odor, so we had to change rooms. Fortunately, the boss is a good person and changed them as soon as he said. 3. The hotel is located in the ancient town. If you have a lot of luggage, you have to drag your luggage in by yourself if you arrive late. It is very strenuous. You must communicate the arrival time in advance. We arrived at 7 o'clock in the evening. There were no tricycles, so we had to carry them in by ourselves. 4. There is no breakfast. You have to go out to find food in the morning. It is understandable. After all, there are more food in the ancient town, but it is recommended that you make a strategy in advance and plan in advance. Our breakfast is at the Jiangnan private kitchen next door.
