MMichael & Nici Exploring China and BeyondWe visit the Four Points by Sheraton, in Gu'an Langfang often.
This was a particularly special visit, as there were numerous events to celebrate.
Namely âMid Autumn Festivalâ, âNational Dayâ and my Birthday coincided during this period.
This Hotel is without a doubt the best Hotel, not only in Gu'an, but in Langfang as well.
The âEatery Restaurantâ, plays a vital role in the success of this Hotel.
I often say this when visiting a great Hotel or Restaurant, it's the âTeamâ, whom makes the establishment a success.
The âNewâ pastry cheff, is truly a great asset to the Restaurant and Hotel.
His pastries are of exceptional standard, and the variety is huge âunlike the sister Hotel's Restaurant, The Sheratonâ, whom barely have any pastries or desert on offer.
Without the right team in place, the business can and will, never be truly successful.
Especially, in the current highly competitive market.
As a former âRegional Retail Managerâ, with over 15 years of Management experience, I can't help but observe and analyze certain businesses.
Being University Qualified in âCustomer Relationship Managementâ and âRetail Managementâ, I appreciate High levels of Customer service.
The success of this Hotel and Restaurant, lies in it's team, and their hard work and dedication.
True âManagersâ, lead from the front, and set an example to their staff.
As the case with âSamuelâ the General Manager, whom always assists his team on the floor.
The same can be said for âMarcusâ the Restaurant Manager, whom is always âhands onâ and working hard on the floor.
Such âleadershipâ sets the tone, for a great team as it will filter down to staff on all levels.
Special thanks to âLydiaâ the Office Manager, for always being willing to assist in ensuring that guests receive the absolute best, during their stay.
Lydia is always courteous and professional.
As always, âMarcusâ the Restaurant Manager, treated us with extreme courtesy and hospitality.

Thank you to âMollyâ from the Restaurant, whom assisted us with with room service, as well as in the Restaurant.
It's also note worthy to mention, that it's not only the âManagement Teamâ, whom deserve praise.
As all team members provided excellent service, during our stay.

The team at the âSwimming Poolâ, also provided friendly and prompt service, during our stay, thank you for that.
We also appreciated the friendly and professional service, received from the following Restaurant staff: Sam, Peter and Joe.
Perhaps, âMarriottâ should consider, having this Hotel's âsisterâ Hotel, âThe Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management and Team, learn about âHospitality and Serviceâ, from this Hotel âFour Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfangâ.
As in my opinion, the âThe Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Managementâ is not on standard.
The facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an, Lanfang, are on International standard.
We always enjoy the Swimming Pool, Lobby Lounge and Outdoor Deck, during our stay.
The âAlpacasâ are truly amazing creatures and are well taken care of.
They truly make guests' stay, more enjoyable.
We can highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang, to all visitors, âForeign, and Domesticâ.
This is still our favorite destination, in Gu'an / Langfang and surrounding areas.
