We spent three weeks travelling around China in early April and this was probably my favourite destination. The hotel staff were genuinely SO friendly and helpful, as were all of the locals in the area. We had the hotel driver pick us up from the airport for ¥300 which was a 2.5 hour drive - 谢谢司机🙏🏼 When we got there, we met the receptionist who turned out to be one of the kindest people we met the whole trip! He was not only the receptionist but also helped out in the kitchen, and was willing to drive guests to / from places around the village. He lives on-site and has a little translation device if you don’t speak Mandarin 😊 We had two dinners in the hotel which were both amazing, we received complimentary tea and rice wine!! The view from the balcony was incredible. The village has three main viewpoints and the hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from one of them so we heard so many tourists walk by talking about how they wish they would have booked to stay in this hotel! Overall, I would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be coming back in the future but probably in September time as this is when the rice is in full harvest!

This visit was the second for us during our time living in China. The inn we stayed at last time has closed down but we love this village and location on the terraces so found this hotel listed on Ctrip to stay at - we were so lucky to find it, it was absolutely perfect. The lady running this hotel is so welcoming and helpful, no request was refused - a big thank you to her!! The hotel itself is in a great location for seeing the best viewpoints around the terraces. The restaurant is so great - we are vegetarians and they cooked delicious food for us every day. The rooms are huge and clean, very comfortable beds and very nice bathroom - but the best feature is big windows with amazing views over the terraces. I am lying in bed looking at the terraces while I write this and it is so peaceful, I can hear only a few voices and birds chirping. I love this place so much - you will too!! Very highly recommended.

The room has no smell, and there are no hairs on the bedding. In fact, you can tell from the bathroom that the cleaning is not perfunctory. The 270-degree view is very good and relatively quiet. When you open the curtains in the morning, you can see the mirror terraced fields on the balcony. I stayed in three homestays, and the food in this one was the most delicious. This is the best hotel in Pingan Village and the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in.
In the case of inconvenient transportation to the terraced fields, a car was arranged to the hotel intersection, and then the hotel guy helped to carry the heavy luggage to the hotel. There was also an elevator in the hotel, which was amazing.
The hotel provided oil tea and straw sandal weaving activities, which were very authentic. It was a great experience to chat with the locals while doing it and understand their lives.
The hotel also has national costumes that can be borrowed, which are very beautiful

The room was very clean, the boss and his family were very nice, and we had two delicious meals at his house. There was also a swimming pool, my mother and I even swam hahaha, and the scenery was great! The large floor-to-ceiling windows are very comfortable. It is very relaxing to lie on the lazy sofa on the balcony at night. It is really relaxing to be away from the city and in the mountains. The boss also shuttled us to the observation deck for free, which is quite close to the No. 2 observation deck. Rice wine was also given! It tastes really good! In the end, we were given monk fruit and fungus as gifts when we left. It was really a comfortable stay. I recommend everyone to come!

1: After we climbed the mountain and were about to go out for dinner, a lady in the store said that they also had food here and asked us not to go out. I said we already have a choice. Because our room was directly above the restaurant, it was a wooden room with poor sound insulation. The diners were shouting downstairs until 12:00 late at night. It was very noisy. Drinking and smoking. I originally came here hoping to get some peace of mind, but I didn't expect to be disturbed until late at night. I originally thought about calling to report the matter. 3: My husband and I were sleeping. At about 8 o'clock the next day, a strange man swiped the room card to open our door. When he swiped the key, I said loudly that there was someone in the room. When leaving the B&B, the husband asked them to explain why these things happened. The explanation given by the B&B when they called us later was: They put the room master card at the front desk, and the guest who didn't have a room card took one at random, and he remembered the wrong room number, so he opened it casually. So, do you have any privacy and security concerns? I don’t know if my husband and I were stolen if we were not in the room? I can actually leave the master key card at the front desk.

The bamboo tube chicken and chicken soup are also highly recommended. The rice wine is delicious when chilled. The boss also gave me Luo Han Guo as a souvenir before leaving. The fried noodles and soup noodles for breakfast are also highly recommended. The room is also very clean, and the location for viewing the terraces is also very good. SShangVery friendly family ran hotel. The greatest advantage is its location, which is only a few mins walk from one of the viewing platforms. The room are well maintained and clean. We booked the sunrise view room and the balcony looked like a painting. Logistically, you need to take the village tourist shuttle to get here from the Ping’an Village parking lot because it’s located within the protected area. You must let the ticket vendor know the name of your hotel so they drop you off at the right one (there are multiple hotels inside the protected area)
This hotel is also about a 30 min walk from another viewing platform, which I would recommend doing if you have the time, as the walk was mostly flat and the scenery along the way was very nice as well.
Breakfast is quite typical of the area and the dinner was also quite nice. Overall would stay here again!

There is a stream a few steps down from the hotel. It is very parent-child friendly! The hotel is hygienic and clean, and the food in the store is delicious. Auntie Fa is very nice and the boss is very enthusiastic. The luggage is sent directly to the hotel. The car is parked at the foot of the hotel and it takes five minutes to walk to the hotel. There are stone steps on the mountain road and there is a road. It is full of childhood memories and I saw many plants that I saw when I was a child. Worth recommending^^
