Doha Hotels with Pools

My experience at The St. Regis Doha was truly wonderful, right from the first moment at reception with Ms. Gozde, I knew this hotel was beautiful in every detail – you can tell a book by its cover. Her sophisticated welcome, warm smile, and attentiveness to guests made a fantastic first impression. A big thank you to her for such excellent service and wonderful hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's luxurious facilities, from the exceptional and varied breakfast spread, to afternoon tea in the hotel lounge with its tranquil and opulent ambiance, as well as relaxing by the pool and sea in the beautiful, comfortable atmosphere. The Grill restaurant experience was also absolutely fantastic, offering some of the most delicious meats we've ever tasted, coupled with excellent service and a distinctive atmosphere. Thank you to all the hotel staff for their warm welcome and attention. It was an experience definitely worth repeating.

I chose Mandarin Oriental over Four Seasons. It's very China-friendly, and since I had a long layover in Doha and wanted a comfortable hotel to relax and visit some sights, this was perfect. The hotel is close to all the attractions – Souq Waqif is a ten-minute walk, and you can see the skyline along the way. Taxis to the museum and art gallery only take five minutes. I opted for the two-meal package, which was great value. It included Chinese cuisine from a Michelin-selected restaurant, and the breakfast quality was also very high, mostly made-to-order. We arrived at the hotel at 8 AM. The person who greeted us that day was a European-looking gentleman in a suit, likely a manager. I was initially worried he might be difficult with Chinese guests about early check-in or changing breakfast times. However, when I explained that we would be checking out that evening and wouldn't be able to enjoy the next day's breakfast, and asked if we could swap it for today, he readily agreed and escorted us to the restaurant. He even arranged for an early check-in, notifying us that our room was ready shortly after we finished breakfast. I'm truly grateful to this manager; he really solved my transit worries. I usually don't bother writing reviews, but I made an exception for him this time 🥰

This hotel is fantastic, highly recommend it! 1. There's a security check at the entrance. We asked why, and it turns out it's a government-owned hotel, so they ensure 100% security. 2. It's just a one-minute walk to the metro station, right across a small street from the hotel. 3. Parking is free. If you're driving, you just hand your keys to the attendant at the entrance, and when you leave, you exchange a card for your keys, and they'll bring your car to the front. 4. There's free coffee in the lobby. Trying a date with coffee is highly recommended; it’s a very authentic Arabian experience. 5. It's only about 300 meters from Souq Waqif, making it incredibly convenient for dining and exploring. 6. It's also very close to the airport, about 20 minutes by metro with just one transfer. 7. Security is top-notch. We tested it, and if you lock the door from the inside, even a room key won't open it from the outside. The front desk staff were very friendly. When we were taking photos before leaving, they even offered to help us take a family picture. Although it might be a bit more expensive than chain hotels like Hampton by Hilton, after comparing everything, it feels incredibly worth it!

My stay at Millennium Place Doha was truly impressive from start to finish, and it easily earns a five-star rating. From the very first interaction, it was clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority. The team members are exceptionally welcoming, courteous, and attentive, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel. Every request was handled promptly and with genuine care, making the entire experience feel effortless and personal. One of the hotel’s strongest highlights is its excellent selection of restaurants. The range of dining options ensures there is something to suit every taste, whether you’re in the mood for international cuisine or familiar comfort dishes. Each venue has its own unique style and ambiance, which keeps dining exciting even over an extended stay. The food quality was consistently high, with well-prepared dishes, generous portions, and attentive service that made every meal enjoyable. The leisure facilities further elevate the overall experience. Having both indoor and outdoor swimming pools is a fantastic feature and offers flexibility regardless of the weather or time of day. The indoor pool provides a calm and private environment, ideal for a relaxing swim, while the outdoor pool offers a refreshing and open setting perfect for unwinding and soaking up the atmosphere. Both areas are beautifully maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed to ensure maximum comfort. Another standout amenity is the fully equipped 24-hour gym. This is especially convenient for travelers with busy schedules or those adjusting to different time zones. The gym features a wide range of modern equipment suitable for cardio training, strength workouts, and general fitness routines. The space is well organized, clean, and spacious, making it easy to enjoy a productive workout at any hour of the day or night. Beyond the facilities, what truly sets Millennium Place Doha apart is the consistency of its service. Every staff member I encountered was professional, approachable, and eager to assist, which made the stay feel seamless and stress-free. Attention to detail is evident throughout the property, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the smooth operation of all amenities. In summary, Millennium Place Doha delivers a well-rounded and high-quality hotel experience. With its friendly and dedicated staff, diverse dining options, excellent pool facilities, and a convenient 24-hour gym, it offers outstanding value and comfort. I had an early flight at 6 AM, so I arrived at the hotel around 8 AM. The Tunisian guy at the front desk said my room wasn't ready and might not be until 2 PM. So, I decided to have breakfast at the hotel while I waited. The Bhutanese girl in the restaurant saw I was alone and was very friendly, bringing me a small cake. I was still eating around 10 AM when a new girl at the front desk told me my room was ready. What a pleasant surprise! The room was very business-oriented yet comfortable. It had a corner sofa lounge area and a desk facing the sea. The bathroom was also excellent. Even without a balcony, it was still very comfortable. The hotel leans more towards business, and I noticed quite a few people discussing business during breakfast. There's an ATM on the first floor, which is very convenient. Plus, for a W Hotel in Doha, the price was quite reasonable.

Booked a five night stay at this hotel residence. I opted for this hotel since it has complete amenities. I was really glad when we checked in because it looked exactly as how it was in the photos. All of their hotel staff are nice and friendly, hotel corridors smelling nice with fragrance and the room is really spacious. I recommend working in this hotel specially for a long stay, because it has everything that you will need you have fridge washing machine, stove top, oven and microwave . Very convenient indeed. Location wise, it is less than 15 minute walk from Mansoura Metro Station. There is also a big 24 hour grocery walking distance (Al Meera). The surrounding of the hotel is nice and quiet, but from the walk from the metro to the hotel, you can find shops and restaurants around. Would definitely book again next time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed a staycation at the Westin with a full board option. This is an all in one resort and has many good amenities including a nice pool area, great restaurants, and many other services on site. The hotel has a pleasant smell to it and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The room is very big with a large bathroom. The room had a lot of furniture including a comfy couch at the foot of the bed, a desk, a large tea/coffee station closet area, comfy bed and lots of cabinets and countertops to put our things. The bathroom was a standout for sure with a large closet area with lots of drawers, a large shower with excellent pressure, and a bath tub that could get a view of the TV in the bedroom. We appreciated the white tea scented bath products and lotion. The room was showing a bit of wear to the carpet and some of the cabinets but nothing major. We felt the room was good and clean. With the full board we got to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. The breakfast was a good buffet filled with western and Asian options and was well stocked each morning. They made hot drinks to order which we enjoyed each day. The lunch was a la carte during our stay and we enjoyed some good steak, chicken and salads during our stay. The sticky toffee pudding at Seasonal Taste was a standout for dessert and we would recommend it. For dinner we were allowed to go to their Iftar tent and it was very good with plenty of options for sushi, pasta, Indian and Thai dishes. The baked fish and Thai curries were really well made for their Ramadan tent. There was also a Baskin Robbins ice cream cart at the iftar. We also enjoyed watching the live entertainment with the swirling dervish and a live band with Arabic instruments. They have some other good restaurants on site including Sabai Thai and Hunter's Grill but those were closed due to Ramadan. We have been at Seasonal Taste around the holidays and they will do special dinners and brunches so it is worth checking out. We had a bit of a mix up on our last day for lunch but the hotel resolved it quickly. The main pool area was closed during our stay but we had access to the indoor pool which was nice and empty when we visited. They have nice and clean locker rooms by the main pool and near the indoor one as well. We used the Heavenly Spa desk to use the squash courts, fitness studio and booked a massage. Staying at the hotel gave us access to the indoor pool and preferred rates for both the squash court and massage. There is not much near this hotel other than other hotels which also have some good restaurants. The metro station is also a bit of a walk from here and there is not too much to do in the area so we would recommend staying in and maximizing your time at the hotel if you are booking here. If you do need to go out we would recommend taking Ubers.

We had a very good stay at this hotel. The amenities are definitely the highlight here with a very nice beach, large outdoor pool area and plenty of on-site dining options. The hotel is centrally located in Doha and is close to the Al Qassar metro station which gives good access to many popular areas and attractions in the city. Check in was quick and easy when we arrived but I found we had a different experience coming into the hotel each night despite staying there. We brought some snacks on our first day without issue but then on the second day they made me sign a sheet to say we were bringing in food. They have a scanner at the door and didn't make me use it a couple of times but they made sure we walked through with our phones and wallets on the side our last night. He door procedures should be consistent. The room was nicely appointed with plenty of storage space, a large desk, a coffee/tea station, fully stocked mini bar and a very comfy couch. The bed was large and very firm with some soft/moldable pillows. There is a pillow menu at this hotel and it is recommended to call early to get access to the pillows. We had a very good night's sleep our first night but we found there were some very disruptive and noisy people in the hall just after midnight on our second night at the hotel. There is a pretty good phone service and once you call they are able to provide housekeeping, extra water or fill any requests quickly but we had difficulties reaching them on our second night. The bathroom was good with some nice bath products including body lotion. There was a large counter, bidet, big bath tub and a nice shower. We felt the water flow rate could be a bit stronger for the bath tub and it took a bit to fill the bath tub one evening. We have stayed at other hotels and areas in Doha and would say this hotel had one of the best beach areas we've seen. There were lots of lounge chairs, activities and some very soft towels. The sand at the beach was well maintained during our visit. The bar for the beach and pool area was nice and during high season they have QR codes by your seating area so you can order online and have food/drinks delivered to you. They have daily scheduled activities like beach volleyball and paddle. Near the beach area is Mykonos restaurant which is a very good Greek restaurant. We booked the hotel with breakfast and would recommend trying it out. Coral Restaurant was not too busy during our stay and the staff are kind, friendly and attentive. They make some very good coffee here and we appreciated that they remembered us and our preferences. The breakfast area has good Arabic and Western options, plenty of cheese, pastries, fruit, smoked fish and some tasty infused honey (vanilla, mint, thyme, spiced, etc.). They had made to order eggs, pancakes and waffles during our stay. Some restaurants on site take their IHG rewards programs for discounts and others will take discount applications like Urban Point for BOGO meals so it is worth asking in advance. We would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing stay with everything on site or want to be centrally located. We felt it was well priced when we stayed considering the amenities and condition of the hotel.

This was my first time visiting this country, and I was full of curiosity and anticipation. Staying at this hotel was a great experience; it was clean, the front desk service was excellent, and it was super convenient for getting around everywhere!
