Hotels Near Old Tainan Branch of Kangyo Bank in Tainan

The hotel is on a bus route between the Tainan Railway Station and Fort Zeelandia. It occupies several floors of a building with plenty of eateries around. The room is clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. It serves a ********* breakfast buffet, including traditonal congee and buns, that may not suit the palate of some westerners. Personally,I pefer some western dishes like fried eggs and bacon. The staff is efficient and courteous in answering my enquiries about the public transport. In any event, I will consider staying in this hotel again.

When checking in 8/20, the service staff first arranged in room B03. When checking in, they found that the air conditioner had been turned on and the remote control was set to 16 degrees, but the air conditioner detection showed that the temperature in the room was 27 degrees. After half an hour of observation, they found that the air conditioner only sent out the normal temperature wind, no cold wind came out. (Photos are attached to this review to view) So the first time I responded to the service staff, I was asked to send someone to the engine room to check the repairs. Later, I waited for another 10 minutes. The second time I reflected to the service staff, the response was ”the machine room is located inside a room, the room is occupied so there is no way to overhaul the air-conditioning outdoor machine”. I asked if I could help change the room. The room staff replied ”Yes”. Then the staff began to tidy up the next room B04. When the service staff is sorting out room B04, I follow the staff into room B04 to check the condition together. The staff knows that I care if the air conditioner is normal, so turn on the air conditioner and ask if I can accept it. I am sure the cold air has started to be delivered. and agreed to change to this room. But the service staff also told me that the faucet on the bathroom sink in Room B04 was inconvenient to use because the fixer fell off. I asked if I could not accept it. I wanted to say that I had already trouble the other party to help me change the room. The faucet was a small matter, so I responded acceptable. Then the staff began to tidy up the B04 room. After about 10 minutes, I changed my room card to room B04 with my friends and colleagues. On the same night, close to 23:50, when I returned to my room, I found that the abnormal low water pressure caused the shower head to have less water and no hot water, and found that the toilet did not contain water, so I reluctantly washed the cold water with lower water pressure.

I just arrived in Tainan from Kaohsiung, and the hotel is located ten minutes away from Tainan Train Station. It's a bit hard to find the hotel at the entrance, but once you enter, the lobby is large and there are many sofa seats for travelers to rest. The check-in time for the room was 3:30 pm. Since we arrived too early, we left our luggage and went around to look for delicious food. This side of Tainan is relatively old, but there are many snack shops nearby, including authentic Tainan meatballs, breakfast restaurants, sushi restaurants, fruit shops, etc. We walked around for a long time before returning to the hotel room and found that the room was more than twice the size of the one in Kaohsiung. We were very surprised. The room we booked was a room with two double beds. In addition to the dining table and sofa area, there was a lot of activity and storage space. The bathroom is also larger than the average hotel, but it only has a standing shower area. The hotel staff are polite and the room overall feels clean. It would be better if toiletries could be provided and the sound insulation problem could be improved (there happened to be noisy children in the next room)

Fantastic hotel. Very grand and nice interior decor. Great service people especially Charlie Huang who is very helpful , friendly and polite. Superb lication. Can walk to many places and morning market which is a myst see in tainan. Greatly recommended!

Nice location and good service. It’s about 300 meters to the train station. Hotel Tainan is more than 60 years old, the furniture is old and the room is relatively small. The bathroom is small but comes with a bath tub. No hair dryer and no safe in the room. Surprisingly the room key is still old style. The check out time is 11 am. I stayed extra 4 hours from 11 am to 3 pm and I was charged $NT 1130.

The hotel is super near the train station, making it of high accessibility. Meanwhile, the staff are very helpful and polite. Room is spacious and will be cleaned every day. Wonderful experience here. The shower facility is also good. The breakfast at the hotel is very fruitful too. It provides various food including Chinese, *********, Japanese, Thai and western food. In general, it’s an extraordinary experience and would be put on my list for another stay again.

I really feel from the bottom of my heart that the attitude of the service staff is very good. Different from the catering industry, I am really surprised that the hotel can have such good service (responding to spoken words and helping to press the elevator when passing by). The bed is also very big and comfortable. Recommended to relax!

To share an area that could be improved, probably the room air. It seems that central air-conditioning type hotels, which have been in operation for many years, will have this air-conditioning smell. My little daughter who is not sensitive to smells does not feel it. What she was most satisfied with was that the bathroom in the room had a bathtub, so she could soak in it for 30 minutes and was very happy. My eldest daughter, who is very sensitive to air smell, is more concerned about it. Fortunately, there are outdoor windows. After opening the windows for ventilation, the air in the room feels better. There are so many choices for late night snacks and breakfast at such a price. 10 “Luxury bunk beds for wild camping” When I made the reservation, I saw the Guqu Suite (bunk and bunk bed type) and decided to take my kids to Tainan. After checking in, it was indeed a worthwhile trip. There are four single beds with independent spaces and comfortable mattresses. It feels like camping in nature, but it is clean and comfortable. You won't want to get up until dawn! The hotel is very new and clean. What is commendable is that the bathroom and toilet are separated, which is convenient to use without waiting. There are free cookies and coffee available in the lobby on the first floor for self-service. The front desk staff were gentle and courteous, and answered all questions. They were very satisfied from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended for families with children! There are flat parking spaces in the hotel (two underground floors). There are parking spaces for guests staying in. If you want to go to Shigu Park, you can walk there, and you can get a 50% discount on tickets with your proof of stay!
