Tainan Hotels with Balcony

"Overall, the room was clean and tidy. The bed and pillows were firm, which was great for avoiding back pain. There were 12 outlets in the room, which was more than enough. The bathroom was spacious with good water pressure, and it even had a bidet. It's a shame the washing machine and dryer weren't available for use. Parking right in front is only enough for three scooters, which is a bit of a drawback, but there's a 7-Eleven nearby where you can park. All in all, it was a very good stay."

"Overall, I had a very good stay and think this hotel deserves a higher rating, especially compared with some higher-star hotels I stayed at in Taiwan. The room was very clean and housekeeping was thorough. I also really appreciated the free coffee (black coffee) and water dispenser. The shared kitchen and dining area are very useful, as you do not have to eat inside your room. Having the garbage disposal downstairs is also great, especially as you do not have to keep food waste in the room. The air conditioning was strong, the fridge worked well, and there was also a large shared fridge/freezer and dishes available on the ground floor. The washing machine was excellent: 40 TWD for a roughly 50-minute wash and 10 TWD for detergent. Unlike many other hotels, it also had warm-water programs, and my clothes actually smelled fresh afterwards. The receptionist was very helpful, and being able to contact reception through LINE while outside the hotel was extremely convenient. They responded quickly and were always helpful. The elevator and stairs were also good. I especially appreciated that there is a guest toilet available even after check-out. Also, a hairdryer and slippers were also provided, which was convenient. A few negatives: the walls are very thin, the bed was too short for me (1.73m), hand soap was missing, and I found it unusual that toilet paper cannot be flushed. Check-in only starts at 4 p.m., which is quite late. One additional thing to note for taller guests: the bathroom ceiling is quite low. The biggest issue was noise from other guests. There was a lot of loud noise after 11 p.m. and late into the night. It would be very helpful if the hotel introduced clear quiet-hour rules and reminded guests at check-in to keep noise down after around 10 p.m. Regardless of where people come from, being considerate of other hotel guests should be basic courtesy, especially late at night. Apart from the noise, this was a very good hotel with excellent facilities (see pictures) and helpful staff."

"The hotel is conveniently located near National Cheng Kung University. While it doesn't have its own parking, there are plenty of metered spots nearby. For dining and shopping, Kaivuan Road offers many options, including a Pxmart. The room facilities are simple but clean, the bathroom is spacious with excellent water pressure, and the bed is comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The second floor boasts a cozy lounge area with complimentary snacks, biscuits, hot tea, and coffee (both pour-over and machine-made), along with shared utensils. The front desk staff downstairs are friendly. Overall, it's a great value-for-money stay!"

"My first time checking in was easy; I did it myself. If you arrive early, you can use their luggage lockers, which are provided free of charge. There's a lounge on the ground floor offering free snacks and tea, or you can sit and relax while reading. However, the room space is relatively limited, so it can be restrictive if you have large luggage. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area, so you'll need to walk a little to find food and drinks, but it's not too far. There's also a post office and a coffee shop nearby, just a five-minute walk away if needed."

"it was a great stay at Tainan. The hotel is super accommodating and the staffs are friendly. I really enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel and there are a few options to choose from for everyday. I had a noisy neighbour during the stay, but the staff attended to it and even compensated me a latte after I check out! Attitude matters the most and it was very pleasant. Strongly recommended."
