Family friendly Hotels in Tainan

Aloft in Tainan, Taiwan, has exceeded my expectations with its welcoming ambiance, excellent vibes, and standout service. The hotel's proficient English-speaking and super-friendly staff, especially Dudu at the reception and Paul at the bar, adds to the seamless and enjoyable stay. Their exceptional service truly sets the tone for a remarkable experience. I must also mention the impeccable clean rooms and excellent amenities that further enhance the overall stay. Special appreciation goes to the Duty Manager, Sue Su, whose friendly and helpful nature has been a standout feature, enhancing the overall warmth and hospitality of Aloft. Kudos to Sue Su for turning my stay into a delightful experience filled with smiles and positive vibes!

The view is great~ There are cloakrooms and two toilets~ The windows are also ring-shaped~ There are two TVs in the front and back... There is a swimming pool on the top floor~ You can take a walk on it in the afternoon~ There is a new comprehensive 7-11 downstairs, which is more convenient.

Rooms are clean & spacious. NT50 for toiletries as it's not being provided. Hotel staffs are also very polite n courteous. Hotel is walkable to many places of interest! 1. Service was amazing, staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices are pretty good with letting you choose either a Western or Chinese style buffet breakfast. Room is clean and with a nice view of Tainan City (was on 12th floor).

A family oriented hotel so solo travelers might felt a bit ignored. Adding a coffee machine at the lobby would be very helpful. They follow Japanese check in check out hours and also quite strict about it… I think that’s the biggest downside of the hotel. You will have to wait exactly after 3pm for the room and out in 11 even they are not full. Otherwise the room and location is good, would recommend.

Staff is friendly, hostel bed are clean and free amenities available. Level 3 hangout area is good and well maintained too. will recommend this hotel for future stay. side note, if you book hostel room, there will no parking space allocated.

I stayed in this hotel in this April, which is a wonderful experience. Thus, I brought my family (total 4) to stay in this hotel again. Unfortunately, the experience of this time is not pleasant. First of all, as i m the IHG member, I am entitled to have welcome drink. Last time, we can drink in the lobby lounge, but this time, the waitress declined us to take the drink at the lounge and requested us to take away the drinks. Whats ridiculous?! The welcome drink is offered by the hotel, but i m not wrlcome to drink at the lounge. Secondly, the cleaning service is not pleasant, two cups in my room have not been cleaned. Thirdly, the food serving of beef soup is very unsatisfactory. I don't understand why I requested to have more soup and got a black face from the chef. I spent over US$600 for two nights, but seems not be welcomed from the lounge nor restaurant. I would not recommend others to stay in this luxury but not welcome hotel

The hotel is large and the location is great With beautiful scenery and a location not too far from the city Many water facilities are available for free or at reduced prices It was my first time to play SUP and I felt reassured when I met professional coach AUDI. The AUDI coach was kind and patient with me throughout the whole process, guiding and assisting me. I thought I would definitely fall into the water, but I didn’t expect that I didn’t fall into the water during the whole process and managed to stand up. I am really grateful to Coach AUDI, and I hope I can meet such a great coach when doing water sports in the future. The infinity pool upstairs looks even more beautiful at night. I will find time to take my family on vacation in the future.

The hotel is located in a relatively remote location. You need to navigate to Yujing City before entering or exiting. Otherwise, it will be difficult to navigate directly to the hotel. The hotel will send you a text message to remind you before check-in. Unfortunately, you forget to navigate first after leaving. You really understand what it means to be difficult to walk. When checking in, the hotel staff explained it very clearly. However, because of this, the waiting time for check-in was long. There is no mineral water in the room, but there are water dispensers on each floor. Only the water from the dispensers is hot water. The swimming pool is quite big. Yes, but there are a little more fallen leaves, the breakfast is rich, and the free experience of the outdoor air tower is great, but I wonder if the headgear has not been cleaned? The smell is very bad. The overall feeling of the hotel is great, but there is room for improvement in details.

There is only Shanhua Night Market near the hotel, so transportation is not very convenient. The landscaping nearby is just garden landscaping. Thank you to the hotel for providing birthday gifts and decorations, including breakfast and midnight snacks, which are very delicious. The environment of the swimming pool is very average. There are too many leaves and feathers and need to be cleaned more frequently. There is a water machine on the floor but no hot water, which is a bit deducted. If you have children, you can add money to participate in activities such as playing with the kiln, picking non-toxic fruits and vegetables in the vegetable garden, playing with paintball, and fishing. There is only a more expensive Hong Kong-style dim sum restaurant downstairs, but the taste is still good. When staying here, if you are hungry, there are still cookies, candies, and drinks downstairs. It is highly recommended that if you get off from Shanhua Railway Station, you should reserve a shuttle bus (free) with the hotel one day in advance, otherwise you will have to drag your luggage through a long staircase.
