"The nightstand had a strong odor that was really pungent and kept wafting into my nose while I was sleeping. I'm guessing it's new, and I hope the hotel can do something to air it out 🤣. Otherwise, the location is excellent, it's clean and tidy, and very convenient for getting around."

"Stayed in 2 different rooms. The 1st day room was awful on 9th floor. The bed was super hard like spring mattress with no give especially when sleeping sideways. The bathroom was old and dirty bathtub and the carpet was icky. Asked for a room change as I can't stand the room and I'm a pretty tolerant person. Luckily they offered 7th floor room, much better and probably newer with electronic card key, fresher cleaner bathroom and comfier bed. The 2 rooms has the same room size."

"During my stay, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel's location, surroundings, and in-house services. Overall, I had a pleasant time. First and foremost, the hotel's excellent location is noteworthy. A river flows right next to the building, and the pleasant breeze blowing across the water in the mornings and evenings allowed me to feel the presence of nature even while in the city. Simply strolling along the river gave me the sense of freedom that only a travel destination can offer, and it was a refreshing way to start my day. The hotel's bicycle rental service was another particularly memorable feature of my stay. It allowed me to easily visit places a little further from the city center, significantly expanding my range of activities. During my stay, I cycled to nearby tourist attractions, cafes, and quiet residential areas, experiencing the everyday atmosphere of the area. Being able to easily visit places that were a little farther away on foot and explore the city at my own pace was extremely pleasant and enhanced the enjoyment of my trip. The breakfast also far exceeded my expectations. The buffet offered a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, and each one was carefully prepared. There was a wide variety of fresh vegetables, hot dishes, bread, and desserts, so there was enough variety to keep you from getting bored even if you stayed for several nights. The dishes made with local ingredients were particularly delicious, allowing you to experience the unique flavors of the region and feel a little luxurious from the morning. As mentioned above, the hotel's location, the convenience of bicycle rentals, and the high-quality breakfast all combined to make this stay extremely satisfying. I feel that this is an inn that I can confidently recommend not only to tourists, but also to those who want to spend some relaxing time. I would definitely like to visit again if I have the opportunity."

"The location is very convenient, with a few morning markets nearby, which makes it easy to explore local life and find breakfast. Cleanliness is excellent. Both the bedroom and bathroom are very clean, and the water pressure is strong. I stayed in a tatami room — it was nice, but I do wish the mattress was a bit thicker, as it felt slightly too thin for me. The common area is very cozy, and I really enjoyed the free coffee and tea available anytime. It’s a great space to relax. The only downside was some confusion about the washing machine. There was a notice saying foreigners can use it for free, but it didn’t mention needing to ask for permission in advance. When I used it, I later received a message from the host saying I should have asked first, which was a bit confusing. Overall, still a comfortable and pleasant stay."

"A hip and trendy boutique hotel with great service — the staff are attentive and friendly. The property has a lovely library and a community kitchen, which adds a warm, social touch. Since the hotel is very popular, it was fully booked when I stayed around New Year. Breakfast was separated into hour‑long time slots, and I chose the 9–10 a.m. slot — apparently the most popular one. The breakfast itself was nice, but unfortunately, the dining area was extremely crowded, and I couldn’t get a seat during my designated time. The queue was long, so I ended up taking a takeaway box and eating in my room, without any beverage. Although the space was packed, guests were generally polite and respectful — no pushing or food hoarding, which I truly appreciated. Still, the hotel should really consider expanding or reorganising the breakfast area, as the current setup feels quite inefficient."

"My first impression was that it was ”old school”, with a traditional sense of luxury that comes from an overwhelming Lobby & Reception, large comfortable Elevator lobbies etc. I also appreciate the great service from the staff who brought us extra coffee creamer, to housekeeping who straightened up my mess. Concierge was very attentive, she checked our taxi after we've alighted, to ensure that nothing was left behind. Its this attention to detail that I find rare these days, and therefore its left a deep impression on me. If I were to point out any shortcoming, it would be that the lighting design of the hotel needs a refresh. Some newer lights, aroma/scented corridors, and background music would help. (oops.. occupational hazard...)."

"It’s hard to find, but the location is not too bad. The room is cleanish, comfortable, and affordable. The only downside was the noise."

"The front desk was served by young ladies, all were very courteous and helpful. They did make sure that you had a pleasant stay. As for hardware, the room was basic but clean. The room was bigger in size than what we expected. Toiletry supplies are limited."

"A very comfortable stay. The hotel is close to food-gathering spots like Guohua Street, within walking distance, and also quite near attractions like Chihkan Tower and Tainan Railway Station. A popular internet-famous ice cream shop is also nearby. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the bathroom is bright with good water pressure. However, the toilet area itself is indeed very small and narrow. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, willing to assist with services like luggage storage."
