Great！ We live it!

I made a small error when selecting my reservation date and realized it immediately. Less than a minute later, I canceled and requested a rescheduling, but unfortunately, my request was denied and the non-refundable policy was fully implemented. I understand that there are rules. However, in such an obvious situation, common sense and flexibility should prevail. A simple mistake that was quickly corrected should not be treated the same as a final cancellation. I am a young person fulfilling a lifelong dream of visiting Japan, and every yen counts on this trip. Losing such a large amount of money is disheartening, and what could have been an easy, positive experience has turned into the saddest episode of my stay. I have encountered wonderful hospitality and sincerity throughout Japan, but unfortunately, this was an exception. With just a little consideration, this situation could have been a completely different memory.

How can I put it? This is the first time I'm reluctant to give this hotel a 5 out of 5 rating. The hot springs were wonderful, leaving you feeling smooth and slippery. A hot spring hotel in a remote mountain area is definitely inconvenient without a car. I came here for the hot springs and had originally booked Shimogoten, but that hotel couldn't check in after 7 PM, so I had to switch to this one based on the great reviews. Most of the people who came to bathe were elderly Japanese, some almost 100 years old, and their gait was unsteady. Mainland Chinese were rare. 1. The breakfast and dinner were mediocre, with almost nothing to eat. 2. The hotel amenities were mediocre; there wasn't even a comb in the room. 3. Sleeping alone at night was terrifying. Communicating with my companions felt a bit strange, like imagining scenes from a Japanese horror movie. 4. The service was mediocre. I tried to book a room for my companions, but the mountain path was too difficult, so they didn't want to go down the mountain and stay at the other hotel they'd booked. The price we asked Ctrip for was completely different from the price quoted by the front desk. The front desk staff didn't speak English and was very indifferent, completely unable to understand what we were saying. They refused to give us the price we asked for, playing dumb. I'd like to give negative points for this.

The view from the room is of the mountains and the river, perfect for a comfortable trip. There's also a station nearby (which sells local specialties and food) and a wooden bridge across the river. Recommended hotel.

It takes more than an hour to take the Ryujin Bus from Kiitanabe Station to the hotel, and the fare is 1,730 yen. You can scan the QR code with Alipay. The hotel's wood-toned lobby makes people feel very relaxed, the front desk staff are enthusiastic and thoughtful, and the dinner is buffet style and very rich. After soaking in Ryujin Hot Spring, my skin and hair are smooth.

This is my second time staying here. The last time was 8 years ago. The facilities are still clean and not noticeably old. There is still the attentive service of a traditional Japanese inn. The hot springs are still good, and it is a relatively new hotel near Dragon God.

Good hotel, delicious dinner buffet

I stayed here for the first time. It is very convenient because there are sightseeing spots nearby that you can walk to. The inside and the room were beautiful. All the meals were very delicious and I was surprised. Everyone at the hotel was very kind.
